I was talked into going to the Aurora Crisis house, near Hwy 29, on July 11th. Mayo wouldn't admit me for feeling suicidal. After I spent one night there, I was told I would have to leave. One night? What is that… supposed to accomplish? The County reluctantly let me stay a second night, but then they rudely told me I had to leave the next day. They didn't care if I was still suicidal, they just wanted me to get out. Steer clear of these idiots. They don't want to help anyone but themselves. It all comes down to money. It's deplorable. The manager of the Crisis house, was rude to me and treated me like I was garbage. She was not a caring person and I say to anyone, stay away from Aurora.
The Chippewa office has wonderful MH and AODA counselors! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming! They are super helpful and take everyone's mental health seriously!
