About New Freedom Inc – Princeton

New Freedom Inc is located at 3162 90th Avenue in Princeton, within a few minutes of Baldwin and Pease. That radius takes in Baldwin, Pease, Zimmerman and Foreston, all within 12 miles. Princeton sits in Mille Lacs County, and the county’s own provision is limited enough that this site draws from a wide area.

Treatment here covers intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Federal registration is held through SAMHSA and licensing through the Minnesota Department of Human Services. Approved medication runs alongside counseling, which is what medication-assisted treatment means in practice. Ask what the assessment recommends before comparing anything else.

New Freedom Inc – Princeton Detox and Rehab Services

What New Freedom Inc – Princeton offers is intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. Whether medication is available is worth confirming at the outset. Ask what the assessment recommends before comparing anything else.

The focus here is on one side rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. Ask what the assessment recommends before comparing anything else. Waiting times vary, so it is worth asking at the first call.

I can honestly say that I had an amazing experience here, and am truly grateful. I arrived scared (with no clue what I was getting myself into), and left feeling peaceful with a second chance at life.

I could go on on and. I've been driven to graduate this program no matter what happens. But I am just about driven to the point that I have to leave. They preach to you all their rules but fail to reinforce or follow… them with their own staff. The public embarrassment is off the charts. However I have gotten alot from the place as well. Given the blessing and the good group of guys that happen to be in there with me. 4/25 I will update here. I ended up leaving the program with a referral somewhere else as well as 3 other guys. I was told I only brought out the negative in the program when I was just trying to adress issues that were bothering me. That's what recovery is about right? Processing your feelings and working through problems. I left new freedom to hear from two passed employees and a past resident that they were in shock the place hadn't been shut down. One employee being in fear of losing their license due to circumstances in the program. You really gotta be one to be able to deal with being degraded in a time of vulnerability. Or be one that's determined to make it.cuz if your trying to work the program and you point out things that your not getting you will be manipulated into thinking your wrong for expressing. So if you choose this program I strongly encourage you too Express any degrading or negative behavior coming from the staff ( director in specific) so that maybe one day it will click and they can be more successful in helping ppl. Also they are short a counselor and do not have time for the client load they pile on. the 2 counselors that are there. At this point I would discourage this program if you are one who is motivated to get your life on track. But dont let that discourage you from wanting sobriety or joining another program. New freedom needs some work and I pray that someday they get can get more graduates then people that end up leaving.i was there a little over 2 months and after battling with my thoughts and talking through it with countless people I had made the decision to let go and leave. I'm going to a different 90 day program. And willing again to start over somewhere. That's my dedication to sobriety and accepting that I wasnt getting what I needed at new freedom. I pray for anyone suffering and wish you all the best of luck.
