After moving from NYC in January 2025, our biggest concern was finding the right medical care for my wife, who has had a decade of pain and trauma from brain tumor surgery, seven neuro-spinal surgeries, and countless… procedures. After a year of dead ends trying to find the therapy and prescription care she needs daily, we were incredibly fortunate to find OSU Behavioral Medicine. It began with a cold call, where Audrey picked up the phone. She listened to my wife’s needs and could not have been more giving. Based on past medical experiences, we were anxious heading into the appointment, just hoping to find a doctor who treated us on a human level. The moment we walked in, Celeste greeted us. She was a ray of sunshine and immediately relaxed the both of us —the perfect person to be welcomed by. Then, Ellie called my wife back for vitals with a huge smile and a caring attitude that made a wonderful difference in just a few short minutes. When Dr. Alexandria Elmore came out herself to bring us back to her office, we knew we were in good hands. She never rushed us, paced the appointment considerately, and was extremely thorough. She even took extra time past our slot and showed her patience and caring before consulting with the attending physician. They both returned, and that is when we met Dr. Sara Coffey. Wow! Another ray of absolute sunshine. Dr. Coffey connected with both of us instantly, built a plan that made perfect sense, and truly understood my wife's complex history. After the dismissive medical "professionals" we have encountered in the past, this was incredibly uplifting. My wife immediately cried tears of relief, and I could finally exhale knowing we were in amazing hands with Dr. Elmore and Dr. Coffey. Thank you to the incredible team at OSU Behavioral Medicine! We are actually looking forward to our next visit—and for my wife to say that after a decade of medical challenges is a massive victory in itself.

Impossible to get a call back or schedule ANYTHING because no one in the staff can answer the phones. Running low on my medication and have no new appointments. I’ve tried to get Walgreens to even contact the provider.… Hell, I even tried the different number options on the phone lobby- Everything goes straight to voicemail or you get put on hold….only to be told no one is available. I’ve called early in the morning, at noon, afternoon BEFORE their listed closing hours, etc. complete negligence on their part. A while back, I did receive a call back and was told my doctor no longer worked there by staff…to which both me and the doctor were very confused by this false information being passed around. She’s still there! It’s a shame too, because the Doctors and Therapists here are wonderful. How are you guys keeping patients if no one can schedule in? Mychart won’t even let me schedule on their app. There’s just no way to contact anyone.

The front desk staff are amazing, one of the nurses was great. The other nurse, and both doctors I worked with behaved like mean girls the entire 3 yrs I was a patient of theirs. My meds did not get called in 4 diff… times always on a Friday which didnt get resolved until late Monday. Annoyed, disgusted or bored were the main facial expressions I received. Communication style showed a lack of interest & respect. My doctors both acted burnt out but are brand new to this field. Both are overly confident but lack the basic concepts of the disease. I hope these problems were unique to me, otherwise their standards of practice are life threatening.

first they assigned me with a doctor that had no idea how the medicine she was prescribing actually works I had to explain to her how majority of it worked . Second they told me all I needed was 3 doses when the next… doctor told me I needed 6 doses.and today they had me come in at 9 am and with no warning/phone call they say well it looks like your medicine isn’t here after I drove 40 minutes to get there this is the most unprofessional disorganized place I have ever stepped foot in and to top it off I had one doctor make me very uncomfortable by making a statement saying “oh that’s weird your having a bad time upstairs typically we get all the complaints down here haha ” and I just looked at him like did that really just come out of you mouth ? I would never recommend coming here unless you wanna have your time and money wasted.

So far, so good. Had a positive experience. Low ambient lighting in the room, very relaxing and put to ease. Comfortable chairs. Waiting area was nice. I felt welcomed and heard, like I mattered.

Dr. Pham is an excellent psychiatrist, the first who truly listened and wasnt dismissive of my symptoms. She went out of her way to personally fix a pharmacy error and what took my old doctor 2 months, less than 24 hrs… to fix. would reccomend her and OSU to anyoe.

I have never had a doctors office so unresponsive to phone calls. This place in impossible to get in touch with, which is crazy for a mental health place, this place causing me anxiety just trying to get in touch with… them.

I went for a check because I had been experiencing other symptoms in my life that could be explained millie different ways. The reason I thought was making me sick. I pursued for a few years before giving up and… deciding.Maybe it was mental health. I set an appointment with o s u behavioral medicine. Dr Skiles is absolutely amazing. He listened to me for quite some time. I felt like he was generally interested in what I had to say in learning what it is.I needed to feel better. We had decided it wasn't even necessarily mental health.Treatment. in Canada, attending in ame the attending. She declared I was having panic attacks and anxiety. I asked her if she was sure that the other issue wasn't playing a part. She rolled her eyes smiled and it's panic attacks take the medicine. Sheaven scolded me for going off. I took medication from the age of fifteen years, two thirty two years of age. I stopped because I was able to manage my life on my own. I didn't need them. Shevan asked me and a condescending manner like it was my fault that I was sick right now.Because why did I go off my meds back then. I have forty five years old. I got a good fifteen years in without medication. Isn't that a good thing doctor? I just wasn't impressed at all with the attending. If it hadn't been for her, I honestly would have said that was a great visit.
