About Cedar Mountain Center at – Cody
Cedar Mountain Center at operates from 707 Sheridan Avenue in Cody. The site sits in Park County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. The practical catchment runs wider than the city limits, taking in people who travel in rather than finding care on their doorstep.
Hospital inpatient care, detox and residential treatment are delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Detox and Rehab Services at Cedar Mountain Center at
Withdrawal management covers alcohol, benzodiazepine, cocaine, methamphetamine and opioid dependence and is handled on site rather than referred elsewhere. Someone starting in detox can move into residential care without changing provider or repeating an intake. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Residential runs both short and long term, so the question at intake is which length the assessment points toward. Buprenorphine and naltrexone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers.

Cedar Mountain Center at Address, Location and Contact Information
The address is 707 Sheridan Avenue, Cody, WY 82414, in Park County. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity. It is worth checking which entrance to use and where parking sits before a first appointment.
Telehealth appointments cover some contact where travel is difficult, which removes part of the journey for people further out. Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Waiting times vary with capacity, so call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

CMC changed my life the staff, nurses, therapists, clinical supervisor, and the director all are truly amazing human beings! I highly recommend cmc to anyone struggling with substance abuse. The group I went in with too… were amazing I got lifelong friendships from there too! I got my life back and got to be able to find my true self again! Love you all so much! ❤️❤️
CMC absolutely changed my life. I came in here a broken mess, and am leaving so much stronger and have more hope than I have had in such a long time. I would recommend this place to anyone struggling with their mental… health and/or their addiction.
Amazing tools amazing people and amazing community to recover with the cmc team the people themselves changed my life I love all of them they are family forever
I went there for their 60 day residential substance abuse program & I would not recommend it to anyone. I don't usually do reviews, this is my first, but I don't want someone to have the same bad experience I had. I… have been to 4 treatment facilities in Wyoming & this one was by far the worst one I have ever been in.
This is a pirated review. I have never been to Cedar Mountain Center. This review was from when I fell and hit my head and had a blot clot between my brain and my skull. The emergency room staff took great care of me… and transferred me to Billings where I was in intensive care for 5 days. Everyone was very professional. They all too excellent care of me. Thank you so much for being my team.
The treatment for my child was very professional and life changing however mary is A very rude individual not very friendly and acts like anything u ask her is an inconvenience
Cedar Mountain Center was a life changing experience for me. They genetically & psychologically tested me. Then individually treated me to my specific needs in addiction and toxic traits. I learned life skills and… dialectical skills that have changed my life in ways I never thought possible. The directors of this program know what they are doing. The counselors and case managers are amazing at what they do. The nurses and staffing are the kindest caring people I have ever met. I was on a life ending path in life to either death or prison. This place & these people saved my life & helped me become the person myself , my wife and my children needed . If your sick and you need help please take that first step and get help . If your looking for a treatment that will WORK and give you what you need this is the place. They don’t have fancy commercials & palm trees but they do have pretty sunrises over the mountains & people that care . I will be forever grateful for the knowledge they gave me & every person that works there. KUDOS !! ❤️ TB
My time at CMC was a blessing when I needed one. I found a staff that cared for their clients to the core of their being. They are holistic in their approach to the treatment of substance abuse issues, in combination… with behavioral health. The staff works like a well oiled machine, constantly improving their techniques and approaches to best serve their clients. I left with a lot more knowledge and tools for self care than I came in with, as well as the confidence to be able to deal with life on life's terms.
Cedar Mountain Center is an absolutely amazing treatment center. All of the staff is very knowledgeable and they care so much for the addict and alcoholic! I highly recommend this place!
Doesn't even deserve 1 star. The gal on the phone was shockingly rude. I wouldn't use this place if my life depended on it. At a place like this, I'd hope for a compassionate, caring, helpful voice on the other… end...not at all what I got. Ended up going to Casper for my needs and they were fantastic!
