About Westbrook Health Services – Spencer
Westbrook Health Services operates from 227 Clay Road in Spencer. The site sits in Roane County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Ravenswood and Ripley. West Virginia draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.
Intensive outpatient and outpatient care are delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment and telehealth appointments. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Treatment Services at Westbrook Health Services
Intensive outpatient and outpatient care run to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Buprenorphine and naltrexone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Ask what happens at the end of the program as well as the beginning, since that is where plans usually thin out. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Self-pay rehab in West Virginia commonly costs $1,540 to $4,900 for a week of medical detox, $2,500 to $9,000 a month for an intensive outpatient program and $1,200 to $5,000 a month for standard outpatient care. RehabSeekers did not find a price list for Westbrook Health Services when this page was written. The state figures give a sense of scale, nothing more.
A fee at Westbrook Health Services would normally be expected to include medical monitoring, the intake assessment, group therapy and individual counseling. That expectation comes from how programs are usually priced, not from the facility. Call Westbrook Health Services for a breakdown.

I came in for a sensitive medication that you CANNOT get off quickly or it can kill you. I saw the psychiatrist and it was extremely impersonal it is all telemed. I was refused medication I have been on for 10 years, I… asked what do I do to prevent seizures. I was told go to the ER! Think about that for a second, this “Doctor” told me to get in a vehicle and DRIVE when I see notice known PRE SEIZURE symptoms! Anyone with a lick of common sense would avoid this provider like the plague. All the bad things you hear are indeed correct and worse than you think. Thank god I found a provider that cares about patients wellbeing because this one does not care if you live or die or your quality of life. Absolutely horrid and textbook malpractice. I wouldnt recommend this provider to my worst enemy. With that being said everyone at the front desk is extremely polite and seem to care ALOT more than the one that should most (the doctor). Good luck!
There's a lot of good people working for the company and they care about their clients. Building is kept clean and people in the front office are friendly. I think they should expand to have more providers, especially… those who are trained to deal with trauma and it's treatments. Psychiatrist is only seen through telehealth and they change them a lot, which makes it hard to trust the new person on the screen. It's usually quick, check up for your symptoms and update of meds if necessary. For the most part, Westbrook is a good provider for the community.
Absolutely TERRIBLE company! Their workers bully my poor uncle and tell him his dog is dead and so much worse— this is poor behavior for people taking care of the disabled.
Everyone is very friendly and The person I see is great. Seems to really care about me. I hate being in public but my trips to westbrook are fairly pleasant. I would recommend westbrook to anyone.
This place promotes bullying.
