I was mandated by Prop 36 to this place in 2001. I completed my 90 days and have been clean ever since. The staff back then was great and not just going thru the motions. I actually became friends with a couple of them… that I am still in occasional contact with. This place will give back what you put into it. If you are serious about recovery and getting your life back, then it will work. If you spend the time trying to game it or get caught up, then it won't.

I delivered food to this address. Everyone was outside for a meeting and as soon as I pulled up the whole group of people were staring me down as if I wasn’t supposed to be there. Maybe don’t order to your address then?… Very eerie vibe and will be steering clear of this place.

This place is an awesome place to plant the seed of recovery.. And nurture it along as you mature in both spiritual and recovery foundations.... An awesome Alcohol and Drug treatment program where its staff members… really care.... 😇👍👍

Bad place, if you have any problems there they brush it under the rug, case managers are discriminatory and they sleep with each other even if they are married, would not recommend this program to anyone, got kicked out… because a case manager did not like me...

I graduated this program back in 1997, an accomplishment I am still proud of to this day. I was a 30 year old homeless alcoholic, and I needed help. The step program really got me back on my feet; in fact this year my… wife of 3 years and I bought a house! Something I thought I would never be able to do. I have to give credit to God and Casa Raphael for helping me develop self honesty and self discipline. I am really happy to see they are still there, helping people with addiction and teaching men how to fish!

I graduated from Casa Raphael 11/16/99 We called it "The place where God heals". We got up at 4 AM every day and hawked newspapers to pay our way. We later found out the man running it was using us to make money on the… side, I was still there when his office got raided. Things got better after that. I learned many life lessons while I was there. I appreciate everything they helped me with. I live a good life now. I wish all the newcomers the very best. It works if you want it.

I just went to bring a friend some of his clothes and it wasn't a welcome I was expecting. Especially considering my first time there. I know that I would need to sign in as a visitor which the person I dealt with just… pointed to a sheet of paper. Then I asked after a couple of minutes if I was good to talk to my friend. I am really hoping that the residents aren't receiving the same attitude. I don't want my friend staying here just to be treated without courtesy or respect. It's supposed to be positive, professional, and supportive .

Because of the atmoshere..the comradeship of the residents and the staff who each individually have also been addicted to heavy drugs and alchohol, I now have the support, the drive, the confidence, and most importantly… my higher power going to bat for me so I can continue my spiritual gain and show others that there is hope and we can't do this alone but with each other we don't have to suffer any longer..THANK YOU CASA RAPHAEL!
