Advanced DUI and Counseling – Reno

Mickey is very rude. Tried explaining the need of service, he continued to argue, said he would not help us, and was extremely rude and hung up. Do not recommend this company!

Awful place Mr Mickey is not a very great counselor in my opinion based on how he treated me a few months ago stating I should stay longer in his program (clearly they wanted more money that’s why) it benefits them. I… was going there for too long as you can see My email stating that that’s why the judge said it’s time to call it off. Not to mention they got favorites and they praise those they want to praise. Every time I went and sat at group my experience was dismissed as if I’m not doing enough meanwhile I watched mickey praises others in front of me. I felt like I was getting gaslighted by the way he would question my sobriety journey. Anyways this place is phony and I wasn’t going to review it but honestly I feel like exposing this place if you’re another young pretty girl in sobriety be prepared to be gaslight and told you should stay longer. This world is full of envious people. Oh and all they do is play videos most of the time cause they claim they are so busy to give an actual good session.

Mickey and Penny are the best counselors. I can’t thank them enough for their knowledge, honesty and commitment for what they do and how they change people’s lives. I felt welcomed and safe. Very useful class. Best… experience.

The counseling is very helpful it save my live by changing my life by being sober. Mickey and Penny were ther for me when I needed help in my life they got my life back on track in a positive way when I had a problem I… talk about and they help me resolve it I recommend the counseling you will be amaze what the counseling would do for you.I know because they will point you in the right direction. They are there for you and help you. It really change my ways of living and thinking and they have tools for you to use on a daily basis so you can recover . Thanks for helping me.

MONEY HUNGRY folk right here dont keep track of their stuff at all theyll do anything they can to get an extra buck besides actually help people out.. Oh be prepared to watch videos the whole time.. Rude and selfish...… Less then one star if i could just wanted yall to beware

Advanced DUI & Counseling is by far the best counseling services for substance abuse counseling and DUI school in the state of Nevada. The staffing is amazing and very helpful. As soon as you walk into their office you… know that you will get the help you need. There's are actually licensed professionas that interact with people, they offered remote counseling services, have counseling on the weekend and have their prices are affordable.

Great staff and very beneficial as a source of guidance in alcohol awareness.

Poor service provider, that leaves bad reviews when not even a client. Sent me an email about one of my clients at 7:11 PM. Responded the next morning, and they left me a bad review for not responding. Not the kind of… stuff a trusted outfit should do.

Mickey is a great guy. However, his receptionist lacks communication skills. I simply asked if my course was completed and she says "let me look at your account and I will call you back". I didn't hear back for a while… just to find out that I had been charged for absent classes while I was waiting for a return phone call. This made my situation even more difficult to deal with and made me look bad in court. I cannot recommend Advanced DUI.

If I could rate this place with less stars i would! Mickey shouldnt be a counselor of any kind. He is judgemental and doesnt show compassion for his clients. Ive spent over a $1000 only to find out his program isnt… adequate for the CA DMV. When i called to speak with him about it his assistant hung up on me. This is now more than irrigating that they cant act like a professional business. I guess you dont have to worry when you are a monopoly. Good luck in your endeavors with a counselor who doesnt care, and a team that will hang up on you!

Mickey is a down to earth and caring counselor. My time in the program gave me the tools to maintain my sobriety. If you are serious about staying sober this is the place to go.

Mickey provides a warm, welcoming environment. It's NOT a stale, boring classroom where you are counting down the seconds to get out. It IS beyond helpful and more than you would expect. Go in with an open mind and you… will succeed.
