Lifequest Behavioral Heath – Reno Reviews
Patients remember things about Lifequest Behavioral Heath that no register holds: who answered the phone, how the first day went, whether family were included.
If you have that kind of knowledge, a review in this section passes it on.
Didn't have a great experience from start to finish, to start off the whole office was a boring millennial grey, then the therapist decided to commit on my appearance, repeatedly which was off putting from the start,… assuming i was hungover after having multiple migraines in a row, just so judgmental. Then saying weird things like my "options were going to dry up", As I sit there in my mid 20s just trying to work on my career, not worried at all about my "options drying up", because i'm not a misogynist. The cherry on top was when I decided to cancel my appointments, I called, I said no, I want to cancel them all. She was like yea were going to charge you then, which is stupid, but I was like fine, I'll move the money. It had to be like 3 to 4 weeks later I get a call from them saying, I still needed to pay it, which was annoying because like why didn't you do that the day we had a conversation? Do you job? Not a fun experience I'd recommend to a friend, I would actually advise them to run as fast as they can. In the other direction.🩷
My therapist is great I highlighted recommend going here if you want to.
Jeff is so patient with our family and our son looks forward to his sessions.
Warm friendly and welcoming, nice amenities in the office too
Amazing staff and therapists . Always willing to help and give a lot of support .
Jordan has been the best therapist I have seen. Leylani the receptionist is super nice. Love coming here. They are the best!!
They are awesome, everybody we have interacted with is friendly, kind and welcoming. My son meets with Cheston Turner and looks forward to it every time. Highly recommend this place and the people in it.
A nice place, comfortable atmosphere and professional customer service.
This place is awesome. I love my therapist. I feel like I have grown so much since I started coming. I feel very comfortable. Plus, I already met my deductible, so after I met that I had no co pay. Which isn’t them, but… it’s still nice haha. Only thing I don’t enjoy is the location, but they are moving soon. So yay! Thank you guys!
The staff is so nice and I love Anne Hampt she does amazing as a therapist
It's been incredibly hard to find a therapist accepting Medicaid that offers in person sessions. I was so grateful to find LifeQuest and my therapist last year. The intake process was smooth, they had availability to… see me soon after I had called to inquire, and I have had a really positive experience overall since then. Grateful for this office and their helpful, friendly staff.
Thank you for your support. I’m looking forward to getting better.
This place is a joke. And if you have a troubled teen don't make an appointment with Lauri. She believes you shouldn't force a kid to do counseling.
so i’ve been going here for a while now, and i’ve seen some pretty crappie reviews about it, but that just could be them trying to get the place shut down or something, but i have been going here for a while like i… said. and i have had absolutely no issues or problems with the place, like i said, i have been going to this person (not sure how to spell her name) for a while now. and i have had no problems with her. and i saw a review that said something about the workers talking bad about their clients, and that could just be those workers, because now everyone is like that and not everyone talks bad about other people. and like i said, my therapist is super helpful, and i am really happy i am going, she helps a lot. and that also might just be that person’s personal experience, unless that happens every single time they go, then maybe they should talk to the people who work the front desk about that issue, but overall i would recommend this place
Honestly this place is just plain gross. I've never experienced such clearly poor management at a behavioral health facility. Have trust and anxiety issues? Don't go here! Not only is the old building a joke, but I have… literally heard therapists talking trash about their clients to each other after the client leaves. They may not realize we can hear things out in the waiting room, but we can! So now not only do people hear the trash talking, but I also know who it's about because I watched them walk out the front door just minutes prior.
I've been seeing Shannon for a year now. She has been great. Staff is very nice. Their new location is way better than the last one. They seem to have ironed out the issues from before at the last location. My son went… there as well but his therapist moved to a new location now that she is done with her internship. He is seeing her at her new place. Tomorrow my step daughter will be going for an assessment.
They promise more than they can deliver. I called this clinic few days ago and explained to them that my daughter’s release from Rehab is dependent on securing a schedule with a counselor. The lady I talked to from… LifeQuest was very understandable stating that she’ll put that on the note so that the scheduling can be expedited. She promised to call me the next day to let me know the availability of any counselor. I was so relieved that she understood my urgency. However, few days later I called up to follow up, the same lady remembered me, but only to tell me that they don’t have any availability, not even a temporary one and that I can not get an appointment for my daughter. I wish she informed me that so I wasn’t waiting. She gave me a different number to call, but when I called that number it was for a referral. Did the Lifequest lady did not understand that I had a referral already (that’s why I called them) and just looking to make an appointment with a counselor. So, here I am, back to square one looking for a counselor.
Everyone at LifeQuest has been so nice. I was really anxious about going to therapy but they made me feel very comfortable. It is small place but very professional. My therapist Joanne has helped me with my post… tramatic stress and anxiety. I highly recoment Lifequest!
Monika has helped me make great strides in dealing with my anxiety without the use of medication. I couldn't be happier that I was referred to this place. It has really changed my life. All of the staff are friendly and… caring. Monika has even been working with my dog so that she can be registered for an Emotional Support Animal. I want to thank everyone who works here, especially Monika, for working with me and giving me back my life quality!
Waited 30 mins past my appointment time before the therapist even showed up, only to get turned away because of an insurance mixup. After getting rescheduled for the THIRD time, got a call to remind me of the… appointment, showed up on time and told them I was there, with a hurried response of "okay," and was ignored for another 20 minutes before I left, got a call from the therapist only to find out she'd been there all along and was just in the building next door, which NO ONE EVER told me. I had my baby with me and was supposed to see someone about serious depression and anxiety attacks. The people in this office shouldn't be trusted with a stapler let alone day-to-day scheduling of people who really need help.
I was given a referral to go to life quest due to uncontrollable crying due to grieving I was in for apt for screening and was told they call me back if insurance clears I waited two weeks feeling desperate to speak to… someone I called they scheduled me I went I talked aptly personal stuff to a lady in the agency I thought I was stable with a counselor she said every Tuesday at 11 am they are not caring bout my needs last I seen counselor Monica marsh and she said instead of 11 am Tuesday can we see u at 10 am was getting ready for appointment I got call from life quest 20 minutes before appointment and they said Monica can't see me she went to detest and said they call me back never valley me back with new appointment I called my health care provider two weeks out to make complaint so my health provider called them and they said they had an opening on Thursday at 2 I thought I was put in for every Tuesday at 11 these people are wrong to do me wrong for no reason unless they don't like 4 foot 9 brown lady I poured my heart and personal things to this lady and she don't care that I've cried everyday since Dec 22 2016 very hear less department I should not have to call for appointment 7s I'm already a patient especially if doctor canceled 😢
