I love everyone and I appreciate what Quest done for me.
It is with great disappointment that I address this matter. My experience with Jen at the front desk has been deeply discouraging. During a particularly difficult time in my life, I made it clear on multiple occasions… that I urgently needed help. Despite my efforts to communicate this and very many repeated attempts to follow up, I was met with a lack of empathy and little to no effort to provide guidance or solutions. I understand that I missed appointments due to unforeseen life circumstances, and I took responsibility by offering to pay for those missed visits. No biggie. However, what I needed most during that time was understanding, communication, and some human connection after expressing the urgency. I’ll leave those details out but this experience has given me a different perspective on how harsh this facility can be and how vulnerable you feel to seek help, To be met with indifference in those moments is not only disheartening, but also discouraging for anyone trying to take the necessary steps toward getting help. Jen has a lot of comments on Reddit and other postings on the internet about her behavior. I wish you the best of luck if you read this and need help, truly.
i worked with forest for a while and she helped me understand my gender identity better and helped me find joy in the small things quest is very lgbtq+ friendly. they help with find medications for you hormone treatment… advice they help you and not against you very loving place
Very rarely will I come to Google to submit a negative review, but felt compelled to after my experience with Quest Counseling. I went to Quest for an evaluation, the results of which were to be provided to me in 7-10… business days. I paid out of pocket. 10 business days came and went without any results of the evaluation being delivered. In addition to having paid out of pocket, Quest also submitted a claim to my insurance, effectively double charging me for a service they never actually delivered on. It has now been a month with no follow up. I'd urge caution when considering Quest for any needs of your own. It was not a quality experience. I expect more from caretakers in this line of business.
The staff is nice enough, but I think that they need to be more transparent about their availability. They schedule an evaluation, charge you 100% up front rather than just your co-pay, and then once your evaluation is… complete and they have your money....that's when they tell you that they don't have anyone with any openings to see you. So you are out that money, waiting MONTHS for a refund, and you cannot even get help.
I had a frustrating experience with Quest last year in which two different employees led me to believe that I could receive services from them, only to unceremoniously turn me away a few weeks later. Now that I’ve… established mental health care elsewhere that’s meeting my needs, I recognize that Quest was not the appropriate clinic for me to receive care from in the first place. I believe the Quest employees involved in my case were well-intentioned but overwhelmed by demand for services and ended up communicating with me in a manner that missed the forest through the trees (namely, they should have turned me away immediately as not fitting their mission instead of letting me wait for two weeks before telling me I couldn’t be seen). The number of reviews here from people who believe they were turned away for random or arbitrary reasons suggests to me that Quest has significant room to improve communication with potential clients during the intake process. Despite my negative experience, I recognize that Quest serves an important role in the Reno-Sparks community and I hope they’re able to improve their internal proceses to avoid ruffled feathers with other people in the future.
I absolutely love this place,Josh Dixon, Megan and Jen r Rockstar.they treat u like a person and not just a number and when the say call if u need anything the mean it.❤️❤️❤️❤️💋💋💋💋
What an awesome place! Friendly staff and very professional!
The enrollment process is appalling
Great people
I went there for evaluation. Two weeks later they called me saying I’m sorry since you have a disability and we don’t have anyone who has experience in the disability we can’t see you. Even though I wasn’t going there… for my disability. If you have a disability don’t go there.
If i could give zero stars i honestly would, i cant even base my rating on their therapy due to the fact that I cannot even get in CONTACT with this place, I have called multiple times and each time my call is answered,… the person on the other end suddenly acts like they cant hear me and hangs up????? For being recommended here by a friend, i thought this would be a great place to try and get into but they cant even answer my phone calls for me to ask a question or set up an appointment.
Had a bad relapse in my depression. Was told I had to continue therapy in order to keep my aprn. Called multiple times trying to get back into therapy and keep doing treatment but they called me on my day off to inform… me that they were no longer treating me. To add onto all of that the therapist I originally talked to just sat there nodded her head and just listened instead of trying to help.
I would give a zero if it would let me but since it won’t they don’t deserve one star. I set up an appointment for my son over a month ago and they called today saying they needed more paperwork filed out and I ran… around getting these papers promoted out and filled out just for them to call and tell me that they will not see my son tomorrow and cancelled his appointment so now I’m back at square one to try and get him help. They say they want to help but they don’t care cause it doesn’t benefit them
So far so good. Nice staff, clinician seems good.
Excellent staff that truly care about their clients. I'm grateful we are able to partner to help those in our community.
Very difficult to be seen here. I really wanted to find a therapist here, even put off finding elsewhere despite desperately needing help. The difficulty getting in here is probably a testament to how good they are.… Unfortunately, I wouldn't know. I finally gave up and found a really cool therapist through Telemynd. And because it's offered through my employer, it's free. Things worked out for me. But not with any help from these folks.
I would give them Zero. Three weeks later and I had to constantly call Natalie back to get even a question answered. Asked front desk if they are too busy or if she even does her job and they hung up on me. Can't… believe anyone would take this business seriously. Save your time, money and sanity and stay far far away from this so called company. Absolutely disgraceful!! Barf
What a horrible place! Takes weeks for Natalie to get back to you. Seems like they aren't very urgent at scheduling new clients. The front office doesn't communicate well and it's like one thing told and another next… time. For being a counseling service they are driving me crazy. Stay away from this child ran facility!! Not professional!!!
I’d highly recommend. Very thoughtful & genuine
Very hard to work with. Long wait for an appointment and they end up canceling. Poor service. Experienced 3 issues already with them and I haven’t been able to get my first appointment since 7 months.
I was court ordered here and came very skeptical . After my required amount a of sessions I found it so helpful that I just kept going. Staff is professional, courteous and kind Time and time again they have gone above… and beyond what was required of them to help me.... eternally grateful. thanks quest.
Great people and great care.
