BAART Programs Carmichael – Carmichael

A great place to be hooked up with if you're battle with fentanyl, heroin, or any opioid has you pinned. The staff are kind, nice, and each has undoubtedly endured more years of opiod dependency than you. I am guessing… of course, but they are pros. Enrollment couldn't be easier and dosing happens the same day. Within a month, take-homes are a reality and you can taper if and when you wish. I wish I had known of this place sooner. Sooner, like when you're panicked trying to find a place because you're about to be sick and you're out of money. Just call them. The counselors are there to help and do just that, they help. I wish I'd called ten years ago before I lost almost everything. Thanks Marcy, Charlie, Kaleen, Mikey, Shay, Jane and, and Kirk, and everyone who's been in my life to help. You guys rock.

I have been attending this clinic for many years now and I have had rough times....not only do they always treat everyone with respect and care regardless of who they are or what they look like or smell like 👍 honestly… because I can say from experience I've been in line next to some ripe smelling stuff...I think it's from the carpet because that's the only thing I would change. The people and staff are loving ❤️ and caring and understanding. I always feel welcomed when I walk in the door and if you have problems with like just ask 😌 🙂 I promise they do everything possible to help others. Everyone has big hearts 💕 💞.

I was in the program for over 10 years. I broke my chains and the program worked. Once I was off I felt how I felt before ever taking medication. Its hard but worth it. Through god and nuropyschologic I got my self… through it. I wake up thankful for no longer being dependent on medication. I wish I would of done it sooner but fear got the best of me which is why I needed jesus to carry me though it.

Yes coming to bart was a chance for me I've been with the others for quite a few years over 15 years an that's some big shoes to fill because I Loved the core clinc that where very good to me for many years and always… treated me with respect an honor an dignity the counselor are great people Easy to talk to an together So this Baart Program is got some big shoes to fill but so far so great I Got Lesley as my counselor an she is a great listener and compassionate and understanding so will see Lesley how we keep it together 🤩

Great bunch of people working there. From Mikey at the front desk on weekends, to Janean, Shay, Kirk, and of course the beloved and beautiful Kaleen who does everyone's job. Administrative people also consists of… quality people, their names escape me. Each of them compassionate, conscientious and kind, choosing to help others attain their individual goals in sobriety. The clinic seems to be populated on most days by people who are experienced at using drugs, sobriety, and generally being run over by life. Not one of them have I ever heard come lain that a counselor didn't see them, or want to speak with them. Truly a cool bunch. I've heard horror stories of other clinics treatment of clients, that doesn't exist here.

I just want to let Jamie know that I Appreciate all that she dose for me. It's been a hard journey but I can finally see the horizon. Thanks again Jamie 😺

if it wasn’t for by valley now, BAART METHADONE treatment I would be dead. Unfortunately, I’ve had to stay on the treatment plan longer than I wanted to cause I started in 1996. But just in my many surgeries and severe… osteoporosis and spinal problems. I’m still in a lot of pain and this is the only thing that helps me. I like most of the people here. Especially like a receptionist.

My experience has been mostly positive at this facility. I deal mostly with my counselor, Kelli Maxwell. Also the dosing nurses Shamika and Ruth. Kelli helps me work through any problems I might be having in my life.… The 3 people I have mentioned make, what could be a stressful time, into a stress less time.

Now talk I've had a great experience here at Bart Carmichael if you're looking to get sober with a mat treatment like methadone or Suboxone it's a great place to gain some headway I'm 8 months sober almost and the staff… here is great my counselor Jackie McKee is wonderful she helps me with my school work too also this place help me get into school with the rising scholars program at American River college and everything is going good yeah shout out to Jacqueline McKee

Atomic Bomb! No coffee, no water!

Great clinic, if you follow the program. These guys do everything they can to help. They're non-judgemental and a lot of them have been through the same things you and I have. If you're struggling with opiate addiction… give it a shot, if you want to get better you will. My counselors name is Fred and he's wonderful, I've grown so much talking with him since I started here. The staff and dosing nurses are lovely as well. There's a bit of a stigma I know but you can't worry about that, worry about yourself. Do that and the team at Baart Carmichael will meet you halfway, and help you to get better. Love this place.

This place has been amazing for my life and sobriety!! Not only have I stayed clean but I also am learning how to become a better version of myself thanks to my amazing counselor! Jacklyn (Jackie) has been a huge and… positive support system for me. She listens when I have an issue, helps me plan for the future, and is truly helping me get to the roots of my addiction. The staff members I have met at this clinic are all caring, supportive and helpful. I can’t recommend BAART Carmichael enough, if you are ready for a positive change in your life this is a great place to start!

It's helped me stay of opiate

All staff sre great except two of doseing girls there bad attitude sucks and no empathy as to what we are go through ty. Jr

I have been going here since 2016 and this place is great you will get out of the program what u want to get out of it the only people I see complain are people who avoid trying to do what is needed for the program I… have a great counselor she helps with everything she can and is always willing to help anybody thank you Luppa for being a great counselor

Why do they have to make it so hard to stay clean

The supervisors are instructing the counselors to make sure that the patients stay on the drug that is the truth of the matter stay away from these places please heed my warning!!!

Ever since I have become a new patient of this clinic I have improved in so many aspects of my recovery. They have truly given me the concern and care that I need to become successful in my recovery. They're unlike any… other program I've experienced. They're open-minded and patient. I'm always greeted with smiles and people remember my name and they just truly treat people so much better than the other clinics. There's always someone there to offer services like vaccinations and testing and it's a positive atmosphere. The parking lot is safe and the building is absolutely clean. The nurses are all the most professional kind and hardest working people I have ever experienced. Never before have I ever felt I positive attitude towards the place that I have to get up early in the morning and go get the help that I need. Instead of dreading waking up early I look forward to it. I was overlooked at other clinics and discarded as a maybe possible trouble patient but here I'm treated like a patient with special needs. They're handicap accessible. Even the security guard is kind and compassionate and helpful. If only other clinics could even try to do the things that Baart Fair oaks does. Because they have truly changed my life and attitude for the better they should be recognized for their excellence. After being a patient a little longer I would like to make an edit. My counselor Frank has been like family to me and has helped me to understand things about myself it's taking years for me to see. I have mental issues I've had a lot of trauma and I am sometimes a little standoffish. They are such good people and good people that they'll give you love when they see you that way. They don't get upset with you they love on you. I have decided to care more for myself and going to start getting my physical fixed and try to become a whole human being again.

Update your dosing hours!!!

My experience with this clinic has been horrible. If you have a chance, go to Norwood as they treat you with dignity and respect. The people at the front desk and dispensing are really kind and helpful at Carmichael but… the others are not at all about recovery. It's actually sad because some people really want and need help!!! The only thing about dispensing is that one lady was playing on her phone for almost 5 minutes while I stood in line - I finally had to go to the window and ask her to help - they should have rules about phone use when people are waiting. Also, one time I was in line for over two hours and another over an hour so staffing is an issue as well. UPDATE: The clinic took all my steps away because I was 3 minutes late (I don't have a car) on a Friday and it was a 3 day weekend so I had to be readmitted (which takes at least 3 hours). So I was struggling to get to the clinic once a week and now I had to struggle to find a ride 6 days a week! Because it's costing me so much in transportation costs I am a month and a half late on my rent and my home phone and cable have been shut off! I was SO excited to get through the 3 months and when I asked my counselor for at least one step back she told me I would have to take it up with the clinic manager. This has been a nightmare!!! I am at a total loss!!!

This is a very friendly clinic. I'm gonna be much happier here.

I wanna give a real special shout out to the dosing nurse Desiree she has an great loving heart she really care about the patients and their recovery and takes everything she do serious I feel She does more than the… counselors she really care about the patients and how we feel she wants best for us and I appreciate her so much she is very nice , friendly and helpful always positive no matter what , she is the best 😘😘💯💯💕💕💕💕‼️‼️
