I so amaze how well bh care services are run in all the locations . I also like to greatful for bh care in north branford area as soon as you come in you feel welcome an care for in the right directions. All the front… desk staff to the cliention. An the group services . Put out a well structure for each individual needs . An the other best part is options , the addition to it service a place to be your own an be social an together actives, etc an the staff who run options daily to all individuals are amazing at keeping it a happy safe ones own place to express skills an enjoy the space environment. For me they are a big part of what bh care services gives to everyone an the clientions are so caring in trying to help all technical ways to support . It not just someone who just sits listening an sends you off til your next appt. Everyone true an genuinely in everyone they work with . Well connected staff facility. Amanda at options is a gem for bh care option an Kristin as well an mia who finds all her skills in guiding an directing her clients in growth an positive outlooks in there treatment an for groups service Angela connect with each member in a calm setting an feedback. An I can go on with every staff . Whoever chose an place each staff an there position made bh care a wonderful facility an learning new skills an social safe an resources . Angela is Great at BH-Care . Really caring and hands on . She is a Great person for groups . Listens and always gives us great feedback and help. A real people person !!

Staff here is very nice and understanding. The 1 on 1 therapy is great

Our daughter ended up enrolling at a BH care program after a 211 call. She was supposed to receive Outpatient therapy. Her first day she was evaluated and was ordered to go to the hospital. My wife and her questioned… why, they said there was nothing they could do until she went to the hospital. They threatened to call 911 and DCF if they didn't go. The next 48 hours were unimaginable. She was put in Crisis IU, with druggies and people with severe mental problems. Finally, after 2 days, an older, experienced social worker realized that she did not need to be there and this was a huge overblown mistake by BH Care. She is now in a different IOP program. It amazes me that a health care professional can evaluate someone that have only known for 1 hour and make decisions that will affect them forever.

Hey, I had a run-in with the police, and I have a problem with authority. So obviously this went bad and the police escalated it to the point where they arrested me. Instead of going to jail care and help me decrease my… aggression. Working with the therapist at BHcare I’ve been able to become a happier person and happier and doing the things that I do. I look forward to working with the therapist to improve myself so that I can become more Productive.

Mia Tabib, LCSW, has been my individual therapist for at least four years now. Ms. Tabib is the best therapist I've ever had in my life. She is a rock, has always advocated for me, and has taught me how to advocate for… myself. I am very grateful to her for all she does at BHCare!

This has been a very good experience so far I feel like my therapist really has my best interests in mind and the groups have been very supportive. It’s been very positive for me.

BH care in Branford has helped me tremendously during a recent time of need. I had no idea that there existed such a comprehensive program dedicated to mental health. I have participated in several programs so far, and… have been helped tremendously. The program also provides help for employment, & housing, and many other resources. Their clinicians are warm, friendly and professional. The psychiatrist I have seen is very knowledgable and helpful. I am on my way to recovery.

Where do I even start. Getting hospitalized 3 times in a row was no fun. I got referred to Bhcare for therapy, case management, medication management and the social clubs. Everyone here is beyond kind, super personable,… and their goal is always to help people. I now look forward to therapy and know I can act and behave the way I do, without feeling embarrassment by anyone. I honestly don’t know why the reviews are so low. They provide so much, with care and passion. The social clubs are always there for anyone and is a great place to relax, work on yourself and make some friendships. Everyone is welcomed at Bhcare. Everyone will make you feel so welcomed. There’s a young adult service program that’s awesome with lots of knowledge, leadership, guidance, and fun. In the social clubs they’ll hold field trips that go to many fun places, to escape reality and to just have fun. They provide so many services for everyone. Domestic violence, homelessness, unemployment, mental health issues, substance abuse issues, etc. there’s something for everyone at Bhcare. Please don’t hesitate to get an intake for any of these services. You won’t regret it. I now will not go anywhere else for any services, because they’re all at Bhcare and no place does it like Bhcare. Bhcare saved me.

I feel compelled to write a review in defense of this place because I was scrolling through the reviews and I don't understand why BHcare got any negative reviews. The negative reviews that I've read are ridiculous,… nonsensical, and seem to be coming from people who have problems on THEIR end, not BHcare's end. Their IOP program is great. The counselors know what they are doing. They're very knowledgeable, capable, compassionate, and helpful. The psychiatrist is fantastic. He's very thorough and he calls in your meds right away. I had an issue with my meds last month. The pharmacy told me I needed prior approval for a med that I've been taking for months and I've never needed prior approval. I called BHcare to figure out what was going on. They called the pharmacy right away and resolved the issue so I could get my meds that same day. The evening relapse prevention program is great. The nursing department is lovely. They really care and attend to all your needs. My therapist and I meet virtually which is awesome because I don't have a car. If you've got a problem with this place, the problem is YOU and you're taking it out on BHcare. Anyone in my group that's had any sort of issue with the facility usually stems from something going on with their own insurance or a lack of communication on the clients end Not BHcare's end. Don't listen to the negative reviews. Some of these people lack the mental capacity to communicate properly. They deflect the blame and blame BHcare for their own problems. Typical addict behavior. Take accountability for your own issues. This place is fine. Nothing is wrong with it. You'll get great care here, don't worry about it.

They have A brand new facility. I’m in other countries and they are working for me. You can get help anywhere. I looked to the sky and they sent me to BH care.🥰🐿️❤️😜🙏🏾💧👊🏾🥹

I love bh care and I love my therapist and my case worker and everyone at bh care is awesome and I won't never leave this place I have friends here and it is the best place for me and we. have a brand new building and.… It's very nice and everyone at 14sycamore way will be moving to the new building on November 15 and it's not for the public it's only for the people who is apart of options and 14 sycamore way it's an amazing place and Amanda and Kristen are awesome and we here at options love them and we have lots of fun with them.and the people at. The bh clinic is awesome and they also care about people. And try to help them. With there problems. And there amazing

They sent me to a psychiatrist that, while affiliated with them, did not take my insurance, causing a $170 bill. They then did not help me adjust it, and even after I paid the full amount, a got another bill.

The reviews speak for themselves. NEVER go here. I went for over a year and it was clearly a trap. No actual help with my situation, just “oh we’ll throw you in a group.” They tried to convince me I was chronically… mentally ill and would need their services long term. I got news for you, I left a little under two months ago and this is the best I’ve done in nearly two years. They suggested I stay on INJECTIONS when my issues weren’t nearly that severe. This is the kind of place that exists solely to pull funding from the state and the patients that have to go here genuinely need actual help and don’t know any better. The therapists are inexperienced and honestly a little clueless. I didn’t realize how bad this place was until AFTER I left and saw the bigger picture. Then when I left they blew up my phone acting like I never left. Not a pleasant experience dealing with these people. And no, I don’t want to talk to your Client Rights Officer, or anyone from your facility ever again. I had to plan my escape, literally. Whatever you do, just don’t go here. It made me worse and I’m glad I was smart enough to leave. I wanted to give it a chance, and I did. Unfortunately this wasn’t it.

This location was great - group and individual sessions (Mia and Jenna), and Jeffrey was a phenomenal prescriber. They all listened and HEARD what you were saying. My one complaint - and a big one at that - was about… Dana Smart. She was my child's prescriber for 2 years, and in that time on several occasions Dana did not order refills in a timely manner, did not return calls to patient or pharmacy, and did not show up for multiple zoom sessions with her patient (without prior notice) and the office did not know why. I highly recommend BHCare but steer clear of Dana Smart.

We used to love this place, but as of recently, the feeling is dwindling..We were told we would be getting a phone call on Wednesday..as of yet no phone call..what if we were in Crisis..oh wait..they probably won't come… out to us..We live in Clinton..There are so many issues that we have with this place now...completely disappointing and aggravating...

What happens at this place is nothing short of abuse. The people they are abusing can't help themselves. The administration exists to pull funding from the state. Places like this are the downfall of the gutted medical… system we're stuck with. Looking forward to my copy paste human recourse paragraph that no one will answer showing how little they actually care about their abysmal reviews and healthgrade.

The worst place you could go. Rude uncaring,unprofessional,You’re looked at as a paycheck not a patient going through struggles, just a revolving door to your “recovery to mental health” you're better off just staying… “MENTAL” Because these people will drive you to “MENTAL” with all the games they play.
