Bluebonnet Trails Community Services – Cedar Park Detox and Rehab Services
Bluebonnet Trails Community Services – Cedar Park is listed as running intensive outpatient and outpatient care. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.
Only one side is on record here, so ask directly if both are needed. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. The weekly time commitment varies considerably between providers, so establish it early rather than after admission.

When your case manager threatens to stop your son’s medication because you opt to not continue a hostile meeting where she displays no people skills and dismisses you every time you speak, it’s time for another case… manager. When your case manager responds by belittling your efforts to get services that he needs, it’s time to change your case manager. When the case manager refuses to honor your request by targeting you as a the problem, it’s time for a supervisor to reprimand her and honor the client’s wishes. This not an effort to change policy; it’s an effort to receive client services by a competent person.
Don’t come here for shit. You will be traumatized or even re-traumatized
Don't get confused by the financial counseling meeting at intake: There's no point in seeking mental health services here if your insurance covers any other option. The only reason you might consider BBT is if you don't… have insurance at all. But even then, I can't speak to what your experience would be or what surprise bills you may get.
Be careful if you need help and try to get it here. I had a remote appointment and missed it by 15 minutes (my responsibility). I called back immediately and couldn't get a human so I left a voicemail. No callback. I am… concerned about people in deeper trouble getting ignored, otherwise I'd just forget this .org exists. I called the main number to try to make another appointment and was told it's my fault since I missed my appointment. Really? That could be why I was calling back. I asked her to pass on to their administration that I received no callback, since that could be dangerous for some people (not me - I won't hurt myself or others except maybe with my sharp tongue). She said I can make another appointment, really again? No simple agreement to pass information on about poor service for people asking for help? There's more I don't feel like going into, but I don't think they understand the concept of health or help - there are just too many opportunities for them to do better which they didn't come close to taking. Are there even any doctors there who took an oath of 'first, do no harm'?
They ask if you want to seek services elsewhere if you complain about anything. THERES ALOT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT. when people are on medication, that is a evil game to play. They do not try to make you better ,no care for… your well being or mental health. The staff changes all the time so obviously there are numerous internal problems as well as the problems us as patients have with the staff. Please seek help elsewhere as they literally dont care here.
I think this place only caters to a very narrow population. I wouldn't recommend it if you don't have Medicaid. It isn't really set up for anything but that. I'm sure they probably help some people, but for me, it was… unfortunately a huge waste of time only to find out in the end, I can't afford what is basically a monthly membership fee, they don't even bill insurance. It took me 3.5 hours to know this. They should let you know this over the phone, instead of having you take time off work and sit around for hours to hear and understand this won't even work for your situation. 👎🏻 In addition, it is super exhausting to spend this much emotional energy going over the worst and most intimate things about your life with people you don't know and not even for any purpose. Really disappointed. I wish I would have asked a lot more questions before I came here. I was desperate, so I didn't and it didn't work out well for me at all. Not to mention losing half a day of pay to do this to myself. I'm really upset about my experience. It wasn't good at all.
I found the cedar park location, they are helping me more than they know!!
I’ve been coming here for 6+ years since they opened the office in cedar park. The services saved and changed my life. I’ve recommended friends and family to get help thru bluebonnet
Had to call 15 times consecutively to finally get someone to answer then she tells me she has to restart her computer and shed call me back and never did I've been manic and I was manic on the phone and no one would… answer afterwards if I could give no stars I would
\UNLESS YOU'RE BARELY SICK & NEED BARELY ANY HELP, BLUEBONNET WILL ONLY DAMAGE YOU FURTHER!
The Cedar park location staff are 5 stars across the board. Kind and caring. The only issue now is not being able to call the direct location instead now it's a very complicated system.
The people are friendly and helpful. I have always received excellent service and care.
I've been receiving services for many years. It's a great asset to the community. I highly recommend it.
Tell Andrea Richardson and Paul the judge wants to see you at the Georgetown Courthouse.
No one ever called, no one ever picked up the phone. My psychiatrist at the time did little to help. He didn't tell me my diagnosis and tried to convince me that everything that I was experiencing was caused by… anxiety.i learned about my diagnosis from a therapist not with this company. The medications he was giving me did not cover my full diagnosis, only depression. He told me that I did nothing to get better (I did everything suggested). Told me people were tired of listening to me when I said I finally was open to my family about my suicidal thoughts. Told me that yes I possibly qualified for another program but refused to give me the information I'd need to reach out. Did not try different medications that would help with my real diagnosis, instead insisted that we just increase what I was already taking and wasn't working. He didn't want to talk about my symptoms at all and when bringing one up it got shrugged off. All of this was happening at a time where I was struggling horribly and had very few people to turn to. I can't tell you how horrible it was to have that man sit there and tell me those things for an hour. I gave up on this place and getting help for over a year because of my experience here, and I still feel nervous and don't 100% trust my current psychiatrist and therapist because of my experience here. I don't recommend this place. Please look around before deciding.
Saved my life. Dr. Lindsey Wallace got me on the right medication and changed my life. They treat you with respect and are very kind.
Do NOT go to this place, I repeat do NOT. This place has to be the worst experience some of my friends have ever experienced in their lives. The psychiatrists aren't even QUALIFIED correctly to treat cases, they refuse… to help you, they lie, and they never EVER call back. Don't even trust these bs fake 5 reviews because I bet you my bottom buck that these are the employees on their last stand trying to make this place look good, or people who are blind deaf, can't feel or even think because anyone with the mindset of an ANT would still give this place one star. I've never heard or experienced something this awful and you shouldn't. There are places way better- I could get more help at a bad seafood buffet then this place. There are places more qualified than this place, and your time/money would be better finding a place that actually helps.
I'm going to be honest in this review. Come here if you want something short-term, by all means. However look for a better place long-term. While the counselors and case managers I've had have been ASTOUNDING (they… really go above and beyond and seem to care about you as a person,) they are also always coming and going from this clinic (not their fault, but it stunts progress long-term.) When I say that I mean they move from this location to work at another, or find work elsewhere, or change positions- leaving you to find another case manager or counselor. It gets tiring and becomes a hassle after this happens several times. The doctors are somewhat rude but if you just can get through it you should be able to get the medication and treatment you need. Again- is it irritating? Yes. But if you tough it out, it will get you what you need until you can find a better place, which hopefully will be soon. The ladies at the front are very kind, however it's always a struggle getting a hold of someone when you call, which may not be their fault at all. Overall I would say, come here if you really don't have other options, and be positive about it (It'll make it a bit easier, and as I've said everyone aside from the doctors have been very very pleasant,) but by all means find a better place if you actually want consistency and to make significant progress in recovery. It's helped, but there are a zillion better options.
I haven't had any problems and everyone is super friendly and understanding - I can look forward to appointments I have here.
