Boys Town Central Florida – Winter Park

Have been trying to make a new patient appointment for my 7 year old for weeks and nobody calls us back after we submit the info they were looking for. Calls always go to voicemail. I'm sure the doctors could be great… but we can't even get care for our son. Waste of time.

Working with Dr Anhthony was an awesome experience. Within a short period he developed a plan for improving or child’s behavior and introduced new skills as we met that empowered us to address behavioral issues with a… suite of tools and understanding behind what were were doing and why. Furthermore, he helped us to better understand our children’s behavior and what they were seeking. The methods to prevent unwanted behavior were not popular with our peers at first and it was difficult for us to implement. But within weeks our friends started asking what we were doing because they noticed the improvements in behavior as well. What’s most important is that our child’s behavior has significantly improved and managing it is not a major effort anymore. We hope to continue to use the skills we have learned in the years to come and are grateful for Dr Anhthony’s teachings.

This review is simply after a very displeasing phone conversation. Dr. Anthony was unhelpful, condescending, and rude. We ended up not receiving any therapy from ANYONE after talking with just this one therapist. Very… shocked to see anyone referring him or leaving positive reviews.

Dr. Anhthony has been wonderful to work with! I have two very different kiddos; he has helped one get through anxiety and picky eating, we are currently working with my other kid on behaviors. Both kids enjoy working… with Dr. Anhthony.

Thus location has the kindest and most experienced professionals. They really care about their clients and give the best recommendations to improve people's lives. They also aren't strict when it comes to people being… late or adhering to insurance. Definitely recommend for people to try if they feel the need to.

Wonderful place where children are treated with love, compassion and understanding. My son loves his psychologist and they have a great connection. I believe his treatment at this office has help him want to keep on… living. This place is a God send!

Dr Anhthony has been life changing for our family. I wish I had found him years ago! We struggled with our youngest child from when he was an infant. We thought he was just a "strong willed child" and read the books and… tried all sorts to try and help control him, which did not work at all. We discovered when he was around 9 years old that he had OCD and Anxiety which helped immensely because we learned that he wasn't just been stubborn, that his brain made it really hard for him to be flexible. We saw numerous "talk therapists" who would chat with Alex about his issues, but Alex didn't need someone to talk to, Alex needed someone to help him with coping skills, and no one seemed willing to step up to the plate there. We were restricted with our health insurance, and so I sat down and went through google for hours, reading reviews and trying to find someone who could help him, and I came across Boys Town. Dr Anhthony has been teaching us how to help Alex. He doesn't sit and chat with Alex for one hour a week, he sits with my husband and I and teaches us for one hour a week and then we spend the week working with Alex. I went into the process thinking it would be months or even years before we could get some kind of positive changes. It took weeks. Seriously. Dr Anhthony taught us ways to improve all our relationships. In one week we started turning it around and each week after that got better and better. Our appointments are now monthly and the last two times we visited we had nothing really to chat about. Alex is doing amazingly well in all aspects of life. To put this in perspective, our first appointment with Dr Anhthony was March 4th this year and it's now September 8th. Thank you sooooo much for everything, Dr Anhthony!!! We think you're awesome!

Thanks to Dr. Anthony Nguyen, my child's behavior improved tremendously in just a few short months and for that I am so grateful. I highly recommend!
