About Cap Quality Care Inc – Westbrook

Cap Quality Care Inc operates from 1 Delta Drive in Westbrook. The site sits in Cumberland County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Falmouth Foreside, Falmouth and Gorham. Maine draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.

Outpatient care is delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, an opioid treatment program, telehealth appointments and care for co-occurring mental health conditions. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Treatment Services at Cap Quality Care Inc

Outpatient care runs to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Methadone is available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Co-occurring mental health conditions are treated in the same building rather than split across providers. Assessment decides the level of care, so ask what that involves and how quickly it can happen.

This place seemed okay. At first everyone seemed super friendly, and when I got in All was okay except that the doctor told me that we were going to be making a dose change on a certain date, and he failed to put in… that note. So on that certain date I could not get the dose change. I had to wait another day for him to fix his mistake. Another problem had is that one of the counselors who should not be giving medical advice, decided to tell me that methadone needs to take a while to build up in your system and it won't work right away like an SSRI, and only after a few weeks will you start to feel any effect ,which is the exact opposite. If methadone builds up in your system you build up a tolerance to it, especially if you're at too low a dose and it's not working already. That's not going to help anyone. The last problem I've had today which will be a nail in the coffin and I am transferring, I was speaking to one of the nurses as I was getting my medication, and I was just saying how I was hoping we could be quick because there's a long long line behind me, this lady got so offended that she yelled at me in front of the whole line, saying "this is your time and they're going to wait" I tried to tell her that I'm just trying to be conscientious and she yelled at me some more saying that she didn't care, if I'm at the window I'm at the window and everyone else can suck it. I told her to stop yelling at this point because the people in the line can hear and she's basically saying that in that moment in time they are worthless to her.... But she's saying it in such a nasty condescending manner, that she ends up telling me that it's a good thing I'm transferring because she doesn't want to deal with me anymore. This is the first time I've dealt with this lady... So I told her was really nice that she said that to someone with depression and she said she didn't care. She just yelled at me some more and told me I was going to be a problem... All because I was saying in politeness that I hoped she could be a little quick so that way the mass of people behind me could get taken care of sooner and didn't have to wait. I wasn't telling her to rush. I was just saying I hoped she could. You know polite conversation. She literally told me that all those other people in line didn't need to whine, that they were adults, and that they needed to wait. She acted as though somebody in the line had told her that and that person suddenly became me in my body, so she was mad at me for being conscientious of the people behind me. I'm thinking she interpreted the whole interaction as " hurry up. I want to get going" instead of me, just saying in front of a group of grouchy people who are impatient " I hope we can be quick. There's a huge line behind me" . Maybe she knows I mostly asked for The sake of the people in the line who had just watched a man stand at the second window for so long five people had gone and come to the 1st. I know everyone has their things but, I just was trying to be conscientious. But no. I told her that her interactions were making me feel worthless, because I just got yelled at for trying to be kind, and she just said "good, I don't care" ... I won't say her name but she does not deserve to be working with people who are struggling with mental health or addiction or anything.

Don't think for ONE SECOND that you're going to help the day you call, you won't. Getting into a state sanctioned program takes time and there are hoops to go through, for a reason. They give you an appointment to come… back and they make sure that you have NO open scripts for opiates, paperwork, paperwork, see a doctor, see a nurse, see a counselor, and this is all at 6am. You may be going through withdrawals by the time you dose, around 1pm. YOU WILL NOT GET HELP THE DAY YOU CALL!!!!! Don't think you will. If you need help NOW, go to the hospital or try Kratom. Cap is awesome but you have to put your recovery ahead of the people and the counselors. Not gonna sugar coat this subject at all.

So I've been guest dosing @ CAP Quality Care for over 4 years. Never a problem with front desk staff allways warm & receptive. Dosing Nurses some of the best around! Kind, Caring, Professional, ! Never had a problem… there. There's one employee Angie she's the head nurse.. She's the most vindictive person I eva met. I had aminor blow out with her during a guest dose request during covid. All States clear travel . So I went to visit my ailing Mother of course. I put in my request 4 weeks early though only required to due 2 weeks as a courtesy. Angie waits till 4 days before my departure date & tries to deny me over some crock of pharamacy issues. When I know personally they put there order in for wknd on Thursday weekly. She said there was an issue well my clinic came back @ her with listen u had ample time to notify of a discrepancy! You wait to 4 days. Needless to say I was granted those dates. Now over 2 years lata she been layely in the grass like a snake waiting to bounce. I tried sch8 president day wk d went through on my clinic end. Then this monday the 6th Angie denies me the only difference in any paperwork or dates or time staying was a 5 mg increase. Thats all she needed to put the nail in my coffin. She use the same excuse as last time. The pharmacy a independent. So she hides behind the guise of she has no control. Over independent pharmacy.

I am absolutely furious with how I am being treated, or the lack of treatment should I say, I have been trying to get in touch with someone from the facility to see if I can possibly get some help.. with absolutely NO… return phone calls after 3 weeks of calling on a daily basis. Every morning. I have left countless voice messages on someone's voice-mail and there is just no chance for help. This facility is by far the worst at trying to get help. If you need help DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT CALL THEM BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU!!!

I came to CAP at a time when I was destined for failure in life! I was about to loose the job, the home was about to crumble as well as my internal self! I had all but given up, given in to a life of failure. A friend… of mine had begun going to CAP for services, he had good things to say, so I choose to go. I have been here for several months and life has improved greatly. Like most things in life, you will get out of it, what you put into it. Go to groups, share honestly with your counselor and they will help you...! I implore anyone reading this who is still struggling; go to CAP, start intake and take your life back...Good luck and God Bless!

I used to go here, and I now live out of state and live in CT. If I had the money to move back to Maine and go back to CAP Quality Care, I would!!! Absolutely the best counselors u could ever have, they actually help… you and help you beyond just your addiction, receptionists are respectful, treat you like your a human being not an animal or something. The director and the doctor there are the best and sweetest people!! The nurses are probably the best bunch of nurses you will ever meet. I don't know if all the staff is all the same since I was there but when they got new people when I was there, they were just like the rest and fit right in!! Great great program, if u have an opiate drug problem, go here, they will help you and welcome you with open arms!!!! GREAT PROGRAM!!!!

The medical staff is great honest most of all they all care about the people they help and treat.they run this place like a normal hospital no problem with a pushy security guard they have staff members that watch the… floor groups a great normally run about an hour great place to get treatment and help for your addiction or pain issues although you cannot tell them that you're going there just for pain and has to be for addiction purposes only it's a great place to get treatment and help for those that want it the first step of treatment is acknowledging that you need treatment and then the second step is going to get the treatment nobody else can make you get the treatment but yourself

Saved my life!! But you 100% have to be ready to accept recovery and the long road ahead. But it's gets a million times better/easier. Love all the staff, nurses, doctors, counselors, etc. Your in control of your… treatment and have people to help you through the process. They never judge you in anyway, and you can talk to them bout anything. I know methadone clinics usually get bad raps but that's cause people don't understand. And there's always the few in every bunch of people that take advantage and ruin for all the others that are there to truly get help.. If your an addict and don't know where to turn, give them a call. I promise you won't regret it. Your not alone, and you can do this!!!

Amazing doctor and wonderful staff. Everyone is respectful of your treatment and they do not label anyone and put you in FULL control of your treatment. They also accept medical marijuana and it doesn't prevent you from… getting take homes. They also offer different forms of medication and do payment arrangements.
