About Center for Csl and Consultation – Great Bend

Center for Csl and Consultation operates from 5815 Broadway Avenue in Great Bend. The site sits in Barton County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Larned. Kansas draws people across long distances for treatment, so travel time is worth weighing against waiting time.

Intensive outpatient and outpatient care are delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment and telehealth appointments. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Treatment Services at Center for Csl and Consultation

Intensive outpatient and outpatient care run to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Buprenorphine and naltrexone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Ask what happens at the end of the program as well as the beginning, since that is where plans usually thin out. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

I just wanted an ADHD test. Instead, I got signed up with a counselor who took 4 sessions before even giving me a self test, then disregarded the results. Billing is uncommunicative and a bad joke. In that, I could not… get an answer from them what my insurance was covering and then, without any collection notice, they just sent my bill to the state of Kansas as a debt to be held against my state refund.

Don't go there if you're having a medication emergency. Or any sort of mental health emergency. It sad that they make people go through hours and hours of interviews and paperwork while going through a mental health… crisis. Seriously people?! Not really sure what resources they have because anything they say they can help with they can't. Stay away from this joke of a place! Not to mention Jeff will call and harass your phone non stop just to "check in" 2-3 times a day when they can't help with shit! Oh, and I had a an experience with the intake therapist that left a single woman alone with some male student with a closed door. AFTER telling her about my trauma. Not professional at all!!

Anyone who can, NEEDS TO AVOID THIS PLACE. Go somewhere else. It's honestly a joke, or it's like there "training ground" because you definitely won't get your issues fixed, they'll be addressed and known....but fixed?… Haa. Seriously..... Go.someplace.else....i promise.

A change in medication has left me a wreck. My o c d is thru the roof. I don't know what to do , and I don't even know how to talk to my dr. , because he isn't listening. We never discuss my medication or how I am… feeling. We talk about everything on earth, but not what is happening health wise. Someone tell me where to go instead of the center.

The center has really changed a lot in a great way. They listen to us, have hired more people to help such as with our vitals and intake process. I love having my med providers they really listen to me and my concerns,… my case manager is totally awesome, love the groups and I can't wait to see where the center goes!

The office processes are a mess. Our standard procedure was we always paid our bill in full at the end of each session. However on one session this didn't happen, and we didn't find out about it until almost a year… later so memories are foggy on the details. We found out because they put a hold on our tax return. They didn't send us a bill, send an email or even call us just straight to the IRS. If this was a privately run business I would argue with them over it but since it is government, customer service I expect is better at the DMV.

I love my Dr Mary she is the sweetest doctor she can relate she is awesome at her job the only problem being is they cannot prescribe me the medicine I need because of some Corporation policy which is not cool because… that is the medicine I've been on for years

I’m giving a 4 star because my therapist Rachel has done a great job helping me through hard times. The first few appointments were a little confusing and tedious. After the first few, I saw a lot of improvement in… myself and had tools to help with certain issues. Only complaint is the medication side of this organization doesn’t follow up or refill meds 100% on time. I fortunately made it work and came out okay but that’s the main thing that needs work here. Overall I still am thankful for their help and would recommend to people struggling if it’s their only option for help.

I feel sorry for the therapist at the Center that care so much for their patients. They do the best they can all the while their patients are getting screwed over by the couple of people doing meds. Yeah...I know you're… busy. And I'm just one person trying to keep my head above water as well. Continuing to take medications away without even talking to me about it is making me sink. Too busy to notice. That's ok. I definitely wouldn't ask either of you for help.

Don't keep appointments or return calls when I need help with meds. Hour long appointment lasts about 20 minutes. They are all about making money. Don't give me the hips copy and paste its redundant

This place is a joke they call me up 30 minutes before my appointment And tell me that my doctor will no longer be working at the center and they tell me I have to go see a regular doctor

When we started going here 3 yrs ago for different family members it was great they had good counselors ajd reasonable response times. Then they lost our main counselor and we followed him to his next place of… employment. It got harder to see some one you felt cared about you. Finally my husband was seeing steing for ptsd and his meds stopped working he was told that he was supposed to be re evaluated 6 months prior and even though it was there responsibility to schedule a check up they blamed him for not do it. When he did try to get in the appt was going to be 2 and half months out....really that sounds good the man is having suicidal thoughys and anger issues you can't get him in sooner. Anyways we took him to heart of kansas and in that 2 and a half month span he met with there psychologists 2 times and got his meds adjusted and is doing better. You need to get this fixed and go back to the level you were at when we started there or your going to loose even more patients
