Center for Family Services – Washington Address, Location and Contact Information
Records give the address as 492 Route 57 West, Washington, New Jersey, 7882. Washington sits in Warren County. People travel in from the surrounding area, and confirming the route beforehand saves difficulty. Public transport, parking and the length of the journey all affect whether someone completes a course of treatment, and they are worth settling before the first appointment rather than after.
Phone ahead about parking, access and what the first appointment covers. If getting there is hard, ask about a remote first appointment. Where no one answers, leaving a message and calling again later usually works better than giving up.

Would leave 0 stars if possible. Do not come here ESPECIALLY if required by court and have a timeline. Everyone here drags their feet. I reached out on Aug 7th to make an appointment and was given the run around about… how someone will call me back in 24 hrs to schedule the appointment. No call back so I called back on the 13th to try again. I was asked the same basic questions before and I was given the run around again about how someone will contact me so I explained I've gone through this already and am on a strict timeline with the court (they do not care) and asked when I can expect a call and that I will just call back tomorrow if i don't hear anything, then I was hung up on. Fast forward to Aug 21 and I finally manage to get an appointment (they are not busy here) scheduled for the 27th and was told that the appointment would be at no cost to me from the DUII fund. Fast forward to the day before the appointment and they try and tell me last minute that its going to cost $300 for my appointment AFTER I was told by the state and a rep of CFFS that it would be of no cost to me. I argued that the state and one of their own staff members had assured me that it was no cost to me and they still tried to get me to pay the fee anyway. Thieves. The staff member then went through the criteria with me to qualify for the coverage that I was entitled to originally after I made it clear that I was NOT entitled to pay and sure enough, the fee was waived and I qualified. Like magic. They will try to sneakily get you to e-sign the agreement to pay but don't do it and don't let them sign for you. Now, almost a full 30 days after originally contacting them and a full week after my appointment I am still awaiting "results" so they can report to the state. Thanks to CFFS and their feet dragging, I may be out of compliance with the state of NJ and may be subject to more penalties. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. I feel bad for anyone that truly needs any sort of real mental health services and decides to come here. This place has 0 sense of urgency.
Was at the gateway program and it was time to leave on my own instead I was kicked out for having a difference of opinion w one of the social workers, time to move on,oh well, they treat the clients like kids not adults… anyway, they replied to the post and I called and left messages with my cell number and nothing, real professional, before I was kicked out(they called it discharged) I repeatedly asked for outpatient services and they lied about it even my social worker said the same thing they don't have any available at the moment, but yet the week after I was booted I got a call from them offering Therapy? Really??? But yet gateway lied about outpatient services,do not waste your time goin there they play head games with clients, they say 1 thing and do another, when you actually need help they only want the money they get from your insurance company, before I was kicked out I found out a client was referred to outpatient services,it was then I wanted to quit and just call the transportation company and cancel the transportation indefinitely and not accept any calls from them,if you work at a mental health facility you should have compassion and understanding when dealing with people who have various illnesses such as ptsd,bi polar, depression etc and not treat them like garbage and when you call them out they deny anything happened and give you behavioral contracts so if you act up they have the grounds to kick you out,I never signed any contract because I didn't act out in a threatening manner at all,I told them what they didn't want to hear, the truth so if you want to be controlled and manipulated be my guest and go there, they are fake and phoney and I can write this because we have constitutional rights like freedom of speech and press
Very unethical practice, rude and unsafe. This location refuses mediation, disputes and denies wrong doing and actively threatens clients.
