Columbiana County MH Center – Lisbon Detox and Rehab Services

Columbiana County MH Center – Lisbon is recorded as offering intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. Anyone unsure which level fits should ask for an assessment rather than choosing from a list, since placement criteria exist precisely to make that judgement.

The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. The weekly time commitment varies considerably between providers, so establish it early rather than after admission.

Columbiana County MH Center – Lisbon Address, Location and Contact Information

Columbiana County MH Center – Lisbon is located at 40722 State Route 154 in Lisbon, Ohio, 44432. Columbiana County covers this area. The catchment reaches beyond the city itself. Public transport, parking and the length of the journey all affect whether someone completes a course of treatment, and they are worth settling before the first appointment rather than after.

A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

Dr. John Gerbil, is by far, the most set-in in his career, too comfortable and lazy of a doctor to be performing as a clinical psychologist period, and needs to retire as soon as he can. He is outdated, biased,… judgmental, and not keened enough to keep up with performing his duties to the proper standards. I read his personal report on me. Not only did he get some details wrong, he messed up on even the simplest details such as the spelling of my first name. His judgment on how he conducts his interviews and how he relates to the testing is very biased and personally, this isn't professional in today's standards. Please let this man retire as soon as possible not only for his own sake, but for the poor patients who actually need the help they can get.

Marie Harrington shared my personal business with my boyfriend at the time that my schizophrenic mother told her. If I had the money to sue this joke of a business I would have. If only. Don’t expect them to honor your… privacy as a patient because that’s not going to happen. If you want your privacy violated,by all means, go here. I’ve had issues with Mr Frampton not letting me leave my own house also. What’s it called when you’re held against your will? Oh that’s right.””False imprisonment”. I am not exaggerating one bit.No offense to Amy. She’s probably the only good thing there. Do not subject yourself to this kind of self abuse. You deserve better!

This place is filthy, and it smells. My therapist was good, but her office needed a serious deep clean between the dust and the spiders. The lobby stunk of I dont know what. The front glass looked as if someone smeared… Vasoline over it. I didn't dare use the bathroom. This was the dirdiest doctors office that l ever visited. They should be asamed

Went for an evaluation, was basically accused of wanting stimulants and not needing them in the first 5 minutes of my appointment. Told he doesn't see it but I can take his test if I want. The test was extremely… outdated and pointless and the letter I received with my results was extremely condescending and accused me of trying to manipulate the test. Seeking alternatives now. Don't waist your time going here for an eval.

I just want to say that all of the employees of the Bryce W Kendall home have been amazing. They've made the lowest point of my life, so much easier. They went above and beyond, all of my expectations, by providing… assistance wiitrh housing, counseling, IOP, food, and a shelter while i qas waiting for the assistance to go through I've been treated with respect and dignity and I hope some day, I'll be able to contribute to their work.

this was by far one of the worst “mental health” care centers i’ve had the displeasure of visiting. the woman who did my intake was such so backhanded and i noticed she had a bunch of african things in her office, later… i found out she’s a missionary who goes who Africa and shares the word of God which is laughable considering how uncomfortable she treats african americans. she didn’t hesitate to remind me how long she had been in the mental health field when i called her out but she probably could’ve kept that to herself because she truly lacked empathy and common sense. she told me she didn’t think i had the mood disorder i have because typically people with bipolar disorder are bouncing around and manic(as if the flip side of bipolar isn’t depression, but what do i know? i’ve only had the disorder for about 13 years.) all of the women working there have pretty much aged out, are white and out of touch, they wouldn’t know how to help a young person of color if they studied it. next i worked with seth frampton who spent the entire time gaslighting me. he told me that my diagnosis doesn’t matter, what matters is my treatment. okay, so i’m supposed to just be given medication based on what? i felt like i was auditioning and trying to prove how sick i was and as a black person i often feel that is the case. i could go more into detail about my time with that man but honestly, just meet him. the low stars they have tell the story. if you are a person of color in the area i would COMPLETELY avoid the counseling center, they lack empathy, they gaslight, they do not do well with patients who have any sense of self awareness or have any idea who they are, they have control issues and they do not respect black/people of color.

The receptionists are rude and condensing to patients. When you need medication refilled they don't return your calls if it has been sent in to pharmacy or not. I would not refer this place to anyone , especially if… suffering from anxiety because they will just give you more stress.

You really have to be your own advocate here. Not just here but everywhere. I've learned to be open and honest about my mental health and what's really going on is best. There's great councilors you just have to find… the one you click with. Make sure you tell them what you're looking to get from going to see them. Just be clear on your intentions or nothings going to get accomplished.

The Counciling Center has helped me out tremendously throughout the years. They have excellent counciling for whoever needs it. They have a wonderful Aftercare group for anyone who is in recovery. They are very positive… and uplifting in what they have to offer.I have become a better person to my family and the community. The staff is the best in the country. I would refer anyone to go to them for help.

The corruption and lack of accountability in this place is absurd. I found a new provider outside of Columbiana County (since all MH treatment for the county goes through this place) months ago. N.P. Ashley Noel was not… wearing a mask in the office during COVID restrictions and would otherwise wear ineffective mesh masks with large holes. She prescribed me medication that I later found she had not even documented in their system (HIPPA violation). I made more than 5 requests to have MY records sent to one place over a period of months and it never happened. My counselor was wonderful but moved to somewhere better. I speak out for all the people who are being mistreated and taken advantage of, for those who are ignorant to the corruption here.

My experience was very degrading, Dr. Paolone actually compared me to another client and said both of our lives are 'going nowhere'.
