Lighthouse Counseling and Mediation – Salem

I've been going to lighthouse counseling for years. They're very professional understanding. I do miss Tony.

My counselor Jodi has been always pessimistic, interrupting me constantly and telling me that what I'm talking about isn't relevant, that I need to stay focused on "what if you go to prison". I've had my new job for… over two weeks now and she still doubts that I will remain employed for some reason? I have been waiting for a call for over 35 minutes now, I dont expect to even recieve one from her to try to reschedule.

I have been involved in counseling and medication treatment at Lighthouse for about a year and a half now , have always felt comfortable and confident in the staff and services provided, and on a personal not regarding… my direct care counselor , in this case Anthony (Tony) Watt , it’s been my experience that finding the right person for your particular affliction or troubles is just as important as seeking treatment itself, I have been dramatically effected by Tony’s experience and guidance in my personal recovery, and enriched to have found such a friend and confidant, if you need help , I would recommend Lighthouse to anyone seeking assistance and/or help , they don’t talk down to you, but rather help you explore your own issues in a kind and meaningful collaboration.

Lighthouse is amazing best staff in the world. When I was using I honestly thought I would never get clean. They literally saved my life. They go above and beyond for you to succeed love that place and would recommend… them for anyone. CD

I have been going to the Lighthouse now for over 3 years. Tony has been my counselor the whole time. I refuse to see anyone else. He has helped guide me and support me through one of the roughest times in my life. He… has been accommodating where my job is concerned. I can talk to him about anything. He is an awesome counselor and a great guy. Anything you may have going on in your life…..I would recommend going and seeing him. You never have to worry about him not listening to you. He is highly professional. Staff is highly professional. I would highly recommend seeing them for any problems you may be having.

Lighthouse [Tony] quickly became the cornerstone of my mental health journey, providing me with excellent and comprehensive care, located in a state-of-the-art establishment, which has become a refuge for me since… October of 2022. Its staff, both clinicians and support members [reception] have always been kind, warm, outstanding, and last but not least, top tier in their field. My weekly appointments [with Tony] have been able to provide my mind with mental clarity and emotional guidance; becoming *exactly* what their name implies: a beacon of light, helping me to find a safe-haven, regardless of life's circumstance[s]. -I've *always* been met by my provider, or a member of staff in a timely manner [3-5 minutes], in relationship to my scheduled appointment time. -At any crossroad of either my provider or I requiring an alternative time, it has *always* been promptly rescheduled to both of our liking, and then to which adhered. -If ever I was unable to make it to the Lighthouse facility, Tony has *always* been accommodating; offering me the ability to keep my committed appointment, via Telehealth. Lighthouse Counseling and Mediation Services have changed my life. The quality of their professional and focused care is unmatched. I look forward to my life continually improving, at the speed if light [hehe :)], that they have *always* and will surely, keep offering.

Great counselors and quick response from administrative staff.

Most of the times I had an appt I noticed the receptionist wasn’t there.. I saw tony (Anthony) & almost every appt he looked at his phone at some point during the session. At the last appt I had with him he asked to cut… the session short to go somewhere, I’m assuming it was something pre-planned because he was wearing a suit for the occasion. I really wouldn’t have minded if he just waited until I finished my sentence to ask..instead he cut me off and it was really hurtful. I recently made an appt with him and was 5 minutes late, I called ahead of time and made it aware I was right down the street and would be there momentarily… they said it wasn’t a problem. Once I got there I waited 20 minutes, receptionist was gone, and no one even came to the front to see if anyone walked in (they were expecting me any minute). I left because there was no point starting my session with 30 minutes left. Really surprised and disappointed with this office.
