Everything is good but to pickup and drop off takes a long time, very disorganized.
Fraser in Woodbury disappointed me. I applied to ABA in 2023, and they said they had a waiting list. They said they have another program called Day Treatment, which is two and a half hours long. They admitted him to… this program until they had a space for him at ABA. This year, in 2025, I realized that when I applied for Day Treatment, they took him off the ABA waiting list. So I had to start over on the waiting list, which was roughly two years long. They told me it was better to apply elsewhere. A week ago, on June 23, 2025, Ms. Alyssa Lovgren emailed me saying my son would be discharged on June 27, 2025. For no reason. I'm still waiting to find out why they took us off Fraser. You don't know the damage you're doing to my son by making this decision overnight. He already had a routine and loved going to Fraser.
Thanks Fraser Woodbury I know thanks is not enough but thank you the staff and everyone there for what you did for my son When we enrolled Fraser his attention was not good and now his attention is better than before… The staff hard work gave hope my family THANKS BILLION TIMES
Be careful with sending your kids here. They are claiming my daughter is very aggressive, but at daycare and at school and at home she is not like this. Daycare has actually been talking about how much she has improved… on her listening and following direction skills. They say she needs 1:1 support because she is so aggressive which is concerning to me why she is only aggressive at Fraser. What is happening to my daughter there that she feel she needs to defend herself in an aggressive way. She is only 5 and an overall kind and loving individual. Not only were we on the waiting list for almost a year it took them a good amount of time to let us know about this so called aggression. And when they did finally tell us about it, it was to the point where they said they were removing her from the program. They need more communication.
My 3 year old started day treatment at Fraser Woodbury last summer. At first, we liked it because my son was always so happy when it was time to go there. After a couple weeks, he started coming home at times with cuts… on his lips or scratches on his face. I didn't think any thing of it because he’s a toddler and he could have gotten it from running around. I figured that if it was serious, the staff would say something. I began to question this because it kept happening and the staff wouldn’t say any thing about it. I started asking the staff every time I noticed any type of injury when I picked him up. They would sometimes have incident reports, but there were others where they did not know how he got the injury. Getting the "I don't know" answer bothered me so much. My son went to day care, school and Fraser. He never came home with injuries from either day care or school, only from Fraser. On January 19th, I picked up my son as usual from day care and instead of taking him home and feeding him lunch like I normally do, I took him straight to Fraser because the day care said he ate pretty well. We got to Fraser 20-25 min early and we were first in line for the drop off. He had a runny nose and his face was a little dirty along with his clothes. I took him out of his chair and brought him to the front and laid him on my lap to change him. I cleaned his face with wet wipes and gave him kisses. When staff came out to take him, he was still on my lap. I was 100% sure he had no scratches or cuts on his face when I dropped him off. I came back to pick him up at 4pm and I saw a different staff member bringing him to me. I picked him up and while I was putting him in his chair, I saw that his nose and mouth were bloody. He had a scratch that started from his lips down his chin and about 3 scratches on his nose. I was so shocked! I waved my hand to the staff so I could talk to them. One of the staff came over and I asked her what happened to my son. She said she would get his room staff for me. The staff lead came out and she told me, “Our staff told me that he came in like this”. I felt like she punched me in my stomach to be honest. I was so confused and I couldn’t understand what she was saying. If it would have been a different day, I would maybe doubt myself, telling myself that maybe I just hadn't noticed. However, that day, he had pictures taken at day care immediately before I picked him up. I had cleaned his face myself and I was giving him kisses all over his face. He had been playing and sitting on my lap the whole time! I couldn’t believe they told me that I had sent my kid to them with a bloody mouth and nose. I am the kind of mom that notices small dots on my kids, especially my 3 year old because I know he can’t advocate for himself. I don't know if it is because I do not look or talk like them that they think they can just choose what to tell me or withhold information, but it made me feel that way. I talked to the supervisor and the program director but of course they stuck to what the staff told them. I cannot trust the staff now A. because they lied to me about how he got the scratches, B. they have told me they don’t know how he got injured in previous incidents. It sounded like they really have no idea what my son got in to while he was there. For instance, my son had a tear duct surgery . After a week of recovery, he went back there to Fraser. His stitches were pulled on accident that very first day back. They did not know how he pulled out his stitches from his eye. When I went to pick him up, his stitches were hanging down his cheek. They claimed they just noticed it like that right before the class ended. He had been at day care for 5 hours before that and he did not even touch his eye. I had to take him to the emergency room for it to be removed completely. Because of that, his procedure did not work and his eye is still teary. I would not recommend Fraser to anyone, but If you have to take your kiddos there, please take pictures before and after, making sure that you are very involved.
Our three year old son has had a history of various scrapes and scratches when he was in day treatment at Woodbury. We would normally attribute this to just being three. It bothers us very much as he goes to two other… locations (pre-school and daycare) and rarely has this type of issue. A week ago, my wife picked him up from daycare and took him directly over to Fraser. He was under her control the entire transit time and she did not see any cuts or scrapes on his face when she dropped him off. She had tended to his face during that time because he had a runny nose, so she knew very well what was/wasn’t there. When she picked him up, he had a scratch on his face from the lip down to his chin, scratches on his nose, and all of it was bleeding. My wife asked what had happened, and the staff said that he had come like that. Our daycare takes photos throughout the day and I saw them. No scratch. My wife didn’t put the scratch there, so I can only assume that somewhere during day treatment, my son was scratched and that the staff didn’t want to report it. Another incident occurred where our son had surgery on his tear duct and received some stitches down into his nose. For an entire week, he was fine in recovery. We felt comfortable to send him to daycare, no issue. We sent him to Fraser and the stitches were dangling out of his eye. We had to take him to the emergency room and the tear duct procedure was rendered ineffective. My wife and I feel like there are issues at this Fraser with monitoring what happens with the kids. Because of the cover up of what happened, we have pulled our son. Make sure that if you take your kids there that you watch out for excessive cuts and scrapes and always get an explanation.
Horrible. Never took any time to diagnose the real issues. Misdiagnosed my grandson and now we had to start all over someplace else. Very sad. Do not recommend this place.
My daughter goes to day treatment here at fraser in woodbury and i can say they are so good with her and my daughter has grown so much and learn how to cope with her autism i would recommend this place to anyone.
