Always a wonderful experience
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Exceptional staff hands down ! I have never been treated with such compassion and care at any health facility I've ever been to. I tried getting help from MedMark for over a week and they did nothing,… Highland took one look at me and got me in that day! I walked out a completely different person and each staff I interacted with made it a point to come and check up on me throughout my visit. These people are truly a one of a kind. They truly care about their patients/clients and they demonstrate that every single visit!!
Some of them care. 🩶 but some of them have nasty attitudes and refuse to be supportive to diagnoses that don’t leave people completely dependent and pliant to others. It’s very abusive and frustrating. I hope to not… only make a full recovery… I know there’s a chance of me relapsing even if I do have recovery. But I also hope to spread the word about narcissistic abuse and its effect on people and their mental health. Narcissism is basically my one trigger. Narcissists can’t get enough of that. I’m continuing to go to therapy as well as see the psychiatrist. I’m also doing some work on my own outside of merely coping with abuse and my reactions to it. NARCISSISTS FLOCK TOGETHER. They are rarely ever alone in their abuse of their victims. Narcissists are INHERENTLY dangerous. Before they’re able to put all the blame on me….because that IS WHAT NARCISSISTS DO….DARVO. Look up DARVO, They will shame you for your mental health and attempt to keep you constantly locked away when you do not want to deal with their abuse.
Arrived at entrance to building. Stepped into doorway entrance to find a security officer and a TSA setup.....Empty ur pockets etc. All that just to get an appointment because getting to a receptionist via phone is an… extended wait and a automatic hang up. I would not recommend Highland Health Systems to anyone.
I love them And they help me Had one come to my house to do a check on me because I didnt answer phone call
Absolutely the worst place to go for Mental Health. My mental health is actually worse because of them. Between the therapists giving the worst kind of therapy and the psychiatrists showing complete dismissal to… anything the patient has to say, it doesn't matter if it's based on income. They will, regardless of what your past record has been, only prescribe something to help with depression and anxiety. They will argue with you to no end claiming that's what you have regardless of anything else. God forget you get nurse practitioner Cobb as your psychiatrist. He wasn't good enough to get a doctorate and it definitely shows.
I have been a patient for years I love the whole stuff there Mr Mike and Dr.Castro THE BEST.
The help you need before you really snap . Wonderful customer service.
Very friendly and helpful.
PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS!!!! I WOULDN'T HAVE GIVEN THEM 1 STAR IF IT WOULD LET ME POST MY REVIEW!! THIS SO CALLED MENTAL HEALTH IS NOTHING BUT A LAUGH!!! THE SAME DR. CASTRO, WHO YOU NEVER SEE IN PERSON, YOU… JUST SEE HIM ON A TELEPROMPTER, HE DOESN'T TAKE TIME TO GET TO KNOW YOU, HE JUST LET'S A SO CALLED "THERAPIST" TELL HIM ABOUT YOU!! AND NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU TELL HIM THAT THE MEDICINE ISN'T WORKING, HE WILL NOT LISTEN TO YOU, HE LEAVES YOU ON THE SAME MEDICATION HE FIRST PRESCRIBED FOR YOU!!! EVEN AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN ON THE PSYCH WARD OF THE HOSPITALS, AND THEY GOT YOUR MEDICATION RIGHT THAT WORKS FOR YOU, AND MAKING YOU FEEL BETTER , HE WONT CHANGE YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS AND KEEP YOU ON THE MEDICINE THAT WAS WORKING IN THE HOSPITAL!!! HE DOES NOT HELP YOU AT ALL!!! HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT HIS PATIENTS AND THEIR WELL BEING!!! I KNOW THIS IS THE TRUTH BECAUSE MEDICAID MAKES ME KEEP HIM AS MY SO CALLED "PSYCHIATRIST"!!! BUT ME AND MY HUSBAND ARE LOOKING FOR A NEW PSYCHIATRIST AND WILL PAY WHATEVER OUT OF POCKET IT COSTS US!!! I WILL NEVER USE HIGHLAND HEALTH SYSTEMS OR DR. CASTRO AGAIN!!! I WOULD RATHER DIE THAN TO USE THEM ANY MORE!!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE AT ALL!!! NOT EVEN MY WORST ENEMY!!!! THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR MENTAL HEALTH!!! THEY JUST WANT THAT MONEY THAT THEY GET FROM THE GOVERNMENT!!!! SO PLEASE, DON'T EVER USE THEM OR LET THEM NEGLECT YOU LIKE THEY HAVE ALREADY DONE TO SO MANY PEOPLE!!!!
Highland has made a difference in my life!
I'm not so sure they have their clients' health & mental well-being a priority or, furthermore, their guardians.
Therapist seems devoted to Patient~Mike Smith
I was extremely nervous & anxious (I thought I was going to have a panic/anxiety attack) and I just wanted to leave & go back home to the safety of my home. But the ladies that waited on me and the therapist was very… nice and understanding. We'll see how the next visit goes.
I have 2 friends that have mental health issues. They do great work here. Takes a SPECIAL care worker to deal with mentally disabled people.
Denise in mammogram department deserves a raise. She is awesome!
This office and staff have made a difference in my life. Thank you.
