About KAM Alliance Inc – Chicago

KAM Alliance Inc is at 2215 West 95th Street in Chicago. Evergreen Park is 1.2 miles away and Hometown 2.8. Anyone within about 5 miles can reach it without a major journey, which takes in Calumet Park, Oak Lawn, Blue Island and Alsip. Chicago sits in Cook County, and the county’s own provision is limited enough that this site draws from a wide area.

KAM Alliance Inc delivers intensive outpatient and outpatient care. SAMHSA holds the federal registration; the Illinois Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery the state license. Medication-assisted treatment pairs buprenorphine, methadone or naltrexone with counseling. Both conditions are worked on in parallel, which is what the evidence supports. Remote appointments are offered, useful for anyone without transport. The facility provides trauma-specific treatment.

Brionna was great to work with! (Weeks later) I really looked forward to receiving the help I needed however the service was more than disappointing. The receptionist has always been a pleasure to speak with. Aside from… that, I’m not receiving the best experience here. I gave grace and rescheduled after the person who was initially supposed to provide my first psych test ran late… but my therapist missing 3 consecutive appointments is just not cool.

KAM Alliance,Inc. has made my life worse. The mismanagement, inconsistent appointment times, and inconsideration for the patient's time, efforts and affairs has been an ongoing problem. People are supposed to be getting… help but all I have gotten is apologies, excuses and predetermined analysis of my home situation and inconsistent service. Let me give you an example. There have been numerous times when appointment changes are made the day of in a text message. Clients are doing their part to get to the right location, then to be met with a second appointment to be changed to a teleconference? These are extreme differences in scheduling and procedures. Today I met with med management for a 1:00 pm appointment. The lady at the desk said " You have a counseling appointment at 2:30 which is a teleconference. I did not know ahead of time that 1 appointment would be in person, then I'm supposed to run home and get a teleconference meeting. The changes are always made the day of the appointments. How many people look at their phone when they are trying to get to 2 appointments on time? The woman at the desk said to me and I quote" you have enough time to go home". I would like to know how she can determine what I have to do on a holiday and the issues I face at home. I have to waste my precious time for their convenience. I have 2 people I am caregiving for and many times I have paid a caregiver to watch my loved ones, to be met at the door that my appointment has been canceled. Does the average person call the office to see for sure if the doctors will be there? The answer is "no". I have been met so much incompetence and inconsideration that I feel way worse than before. I do not recommend KAM Alliance for anything.

What can I say about my therapist…….Briana Banks is amazing!!!! She listens to all of my concerns, my struggles, and my life. She offers wonderful suggestions to help me through the days that I struggle. She’s very easy… to talk to, makes you feel like you’re talking with one of your girlfriends. Now the clinic it’s self…..pack your patience, they are a little unorganized and it can be frustrating. It’s like the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing. And I’ve dealt with this clinic in the past after COVID and the experience with the administration was the same. My counselor then was amazing, but she’s no longer working there. But I do highly recommend Briana Banks!!!

I will say it’s so hard to find help at times when your in need Sean and jessica contacted me and ask me to make a list of everything that I needed and Jessica came through in a matter of 1 day to delivery every item I… put on the list that I needed for my children. This was a blessing to me and my children and to have two individuals that’s passionate about their job and helping with the needs of families in such accurate speed I am forever grateful. They even bought food that I didn’t ask for ,my kids was so happy my son cried. I will recommend this agency to anyone in need. Never seen an agency act so fast in lake county ever . Sean and Jessica thank you again 😊

Terrible experience for the 2nd time Couldn’t remember why I stopped going there. I got my reminder. Went to appointment only to ask therapist how she was and she literally snapped as she said “good” I asked if she was… ok she ran out of room crying. We all have bad days. But when your the therapist, you should not be allowed to treat patients so disrespectfully. And be show-ably unstable. Medication management, in 2 months still doesn’t have prescription figured out with pharmacy or insurance. How they win awards is a joke.
