Liberty Centre Services – Norfolk

I heard a lot of negative views about this place it is not uphold to helping anyone they are there to control you they take away your support system when it is needed they break confidentiality breaking HIPPA they pose… a huge threat to individuals lives who need the out most support or help. I mean you are put on some waiting list to get in or even receive treatment. This place puts you on a long hold for receiving a place of stay they need more room I notice they have apartments but they need more to many individuals who need help but they won't extend it they keep you waiting long years with no hope. They lie a lot. They don't keep individuals protected they abuse this trust with everyone that goes into this place. I heard they abuse the individuals. Nothing is kept confidential all staff are negative about the clients I mean they have staff who don't know what they are doing or talking about they won't let you have a meal if you have a salad if you are late you won't get a plate of food or anything. They don't make enough food for people you get a slim amount of food you are forced to drink milk if you are unable to due to an allergic issue they force it onto you. When someone is allergic to milk they don't allow something in replace of it like apple juice , lemonade, gatorade you are so forced to have milk. The clinicians are not supportive they don't keep things confidential they abuse there power. There isn't enough support groups in this place to help anyone with there depression or anything they are struggling with it's horrendous it's neglectful towards the clients here it's abuse towards the clients, there are no is no place to do laundry they don't offer showers if someone needs one , there should be someone who comes in to do haircuts for those who are in need. They also need to hire someone who can help with med management who can provide medical expenses to those in emergency needs handing out medicine to make sure individuals are taking them sit with them assuring there safety this is not a place to be at. it's dirty , things break down in the kitchen all the time , it is a filth , crock roaches infested mice problems rodent issues , food is left out then put in the refrigerator then expecting clients to eat it when gone bad or has been spoiled . Some food has mold on it it is still served to clients . Clients are expected to eat moldy food spoiled chicken . Raw food is served at times. The hot dishes that are made should not be leaving the kitchen to be served cold. This place has no structure for the clients these clients don't know who to trust when there supports are taken away from them some clients have their own personal vehicle it should not matter they are giving rides to their friends these clinical staff act like they own these clients cars who have there own personal vehicles , I believe they have a driver for this place but they always run late the driver has explained there is no structure here at all the clients are the ones who pay the ultimate price they get abused they don't get heard the food here is not all up to par the kitchen staff have no clue how to run the kitchen or prepare meals. Nothing here is updated . The bathrooms are always dirty. The clients here are made fun of they are laughed at there always put down staff here make it hard for clients to thrive. The director is very rude and disrespectful. The director flips the story making seem like people are far more off then what they seem. They lie to cover up more lies they force individuals into hospitals

Very Nice Place

I was a member from 2010 to 2013. They have helped me a lot, and I'm still with CPP and see my social worker Sam L. 4 times a month. They helped me get a job at Hy-Vee and just an all-around neat place. Thank you,… Liberty Centre!!!

Good place for those with mental health issues

Adrianne was my rock, she was the best caseworker I ever had she actually saved my life, i was a member from 2015 to 2018 i would give this place a million star review. They do so much for the community!

Liberty Center is amazing and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful about living with mental illness and the importance of wanting to be part of something good and wonderful.

They lie to raiload people into hospitals.
