Mindful Care – West Hempstead

Hello everybody I definitely want to let everybody know how great mindful care is. When I first started mine full care I started with therapy from therapy I went to the psychiatrist from the psychiatrist I went to… substance abuse help which I am receiving now. Like a dumb idiot though I started taking over the counter stuff which was called kratom so when I reached out and told them they had helped me immediately I've been seeing them now for a while and all I can tell you is I am a new man they are great at everything they do wonderful people very polite and very discreet the way everybody loves it hopefully you guys read this and take my word for it I am not no robot behind a computer my name is Anthony and I'm a great person and I'm pretty sure you are so don't wait don't hesitate join now

Good staff good listening good therapy

We've had appointments with a few doctors and everything was great. There was one provider, Ashwathy Kirshnakumar, who has cancelled on the appointments several times with no communication. One time she has stated to… charge us $200 for a no-show fee. Ma'am, I'm right here?? I'm there on the zoom, she waits till the appointment time is over to kick me out. So bizarre and unprofessional! What I'm trying to say is, you might have a great experience here but its based on which provider sees you. Ask to change providers if there are ANY issues early on or else it'd be a waste of your time. Newer reviews from patients seem to have a pattern of having a negative experience, so please be mindful of that.

If I could give this Company is zero I would. Their website is deceptive. When I called the number after I made the appointment, they told me they don’t have any actual psychiatrist to talk to. I was randomly matched… with someone. I don’t even know if they were a social worker.. Their specialties were not what I was looking for at all. When I did call, I received no help and no explanation and was treated without respect. I asked that all my files be removed from their System obviously they were not because I got a text today saying I missed my appointment. This company is A problem, especially when you’re dealing with people’s mental health why would you try to deceive them?

was billed $150 not $15 they claimed it was a mistake then hung up on me, my "therapist" was 6 minutes late to a 40 minute virtual session then she hung up early so i only got 25 minutes and then when called to complain… they hung up again! notice they only respond copy and paste answers on good reviews! IT IS A SCAM! Update: The next day Psych eval doctor 6 minutes into the call says im hostile and hung up the call. THEY SPECIALIZE IN ANGER MANAGEMENT! its so sick!! these people should be sued and lose thier license. Update: Convenient 5 star reviews from fakwe accounts right after a bad review. At least try to not be a scam. Your company is GARBAGE!!!

Scam. First appointment I had was with a child reading and asking me ai generated questions. Scheduled an appointment without talking to me and try pushing a $100 no show fee. Don’t waste your time

Dr Ngozi seemed off and I did not feel heard. I had a session with her today and all she kept doing was looking at me and licking her lips. She did not ask me how I am feeling with the medication and she sent the wrong… medication to the pharmacy. I told her Sertraline 100mg works for me. She prescribed me Duloxitine 20mg with Trazodone 100mg which can cause serotonin syndrome. I highly advise new patient to do their own research and educate themselves on the medication the doctor may give you. Dr. Ngozi seemed drunk and disassociating and as if she was waiting for the 40 mins to end to book my next appointment. I spoke with Victoria from management care whom stated that she will reach out to the provider to clarify and get back to me. I don’t feel that this practice cares about there patients and I need my hippa release forms to be filled out so I can return the letter via email to my employer before Friday. These people are getting paid to do there jobs but they have no passion to help patients.My employment is based on this letter and the doctors office doesn’t seem interested in helping me. Now Tammy tells me that it takes 7-14 business days for the doctor to fill out the 1 page form from my employer. Called and spoke to Paul I didn’t receive a call back confirming that he sent the email to my employer stating it takes 7-14 business days for the form to fill out.

Everyone was top-notch! Very thorough and caring! Sabrina truly met all my needs! I felt well taken care of!

I started seeing Dr. Micheal DeStefano About eight weeks ago And he has figured out what multiple Therapist and psychiatrist haven’t in 15 years. He is efficient kind and incredibly intelligent. I got a diagnosis that… allowed me to receive the right treatment and really transformed within the last couple of weeks. I am forever grateful! Booking and making appointments incredibly easy. 10 stars if they were available!

The people at mindful care both the administrative staff and the providers are very kind and efficient.

I did my eval yesterday. I feel the doctor understood me asked the right questions and I was heard. I start therapy tomorrow and a grievance group Thursday. I can’t wait to see if this helps. I have high hopes.
