Mindfully – Strongsville

Please don't go to this place! I've been with them for a little over a year if not more. They put me on medication and everything was going well and then when it wasn't I started having suicidal tendencies and my… counselor stopped scheduling with me and stop talking to me. And most recently I tried to get a hold of my psychiatrist apparently they can prescribe you medication but they don't have any on call nurses or anyone available to give you information when the psychiatrists aren't there so you're just screwed. I called in and spoke to Jill in the middle of a panic attack asking for help saying I needed to talk to somebody regarding my medication. Instead she called the cops on me she called CPS on me and my children I almost lost them they tried to force me to go to the hospital I have no one to watch my kids no family no friends how are you supposed to go to the hospital are you just supposed to take your kids I don't think they try to understand or care about any of their patients.

My first visit was today 6/4/26 with Ryan, but I won't be going back. My daughter had an appointment at 3:00 but we arrived at 2:50pm. I don't want to pull the race card, but so many counselors walked passed us never… eye contacting us. Time pass!. Still no acknowledgement. No one ask us who we were there to see, nor checked the sign-in sheet. Now it's 3:05pm. Nothing put people coming out of their office looking straight ahead. So we left at 3:10. I stay in a predominally white neighborhood, and never felt so unseen going into an appointment. I think I was more upset that my gas and time was wasted, then no one accommodating us. They showed me what I needed to see. I wouldn't want to put my child in the care of people that doesn't have proper communication skills.

I can’t thank Jill enough for connecting me with such an incredible therapist during a difficult time in my life. Her thoughtfulness and understanding truly made a difference. Ryan, the therapist she recommended has… been a perfect fit—supportive, insightful, and exactly what I needed to start working through things in a healthy way. Jill and Ryan's kindness and care meant more than they probably realize. I highly recommend Mindfully to anyone looking for people who truly have your best interest at heart.

I have been going to Shirley for 3 years now, and I always praise this place to the high heavens. The atmosphere is always welcoming and everyone is always happy to help! I caint say enough about how amazing mindfully… is and how much going to therapy has improved my life!

I have Been seeing Lori for a while and she is amazing. I have been in therapy for many years. Lori is the first therapist I’ve spoken to who genuinely listens and cares. I look forward to my sessions every week because… I feel like I’m finally making progress

Do not go to this place! I hung up the phone on my councilor due to different views and told her certain things I’ve been through that’s been rough on me and told me I was making it up in my mind when I could see it and… hear it. I would not recommend Shiyla Nix as I hung up the phone on her and never even rescheduled with her and she scheduled me anyways for an appointment for today even though me hanging up on her should’ve been a clear sign that I don’t want to talk to her anymore. She went as far as schedule me for an appointment the day before hand so if I canceled she would get paid for it. I tried calling this place several times and no one ever seems to answer the phone at this place. Shila Nix knows that which is why she rescheduled me without me even scheduling with her. She will also put words into your mouth that you never said and assume things about you. Just as a follow up too when I tried calling about her automatically scheduling me for this appointment the girl who works at the desk kept hanging up the phone on me too. I called on 2-9-2026 at 11:19am and whoever works at the desk kept hanging up. I even left voicemail messages and no call back. Avoid this place!

Olivia is the first therapist I’ve had that has helped me make progress! I’ve been in therapy since I was a little kid, and have been through many therapists. None of them were as helpful. Olivia is not as… “cookie-cutter” or a basic therapist who only talks about coping skills. She doesn’t just follow the instructions, she goes above and beyond to personalize the care that is needed. She cares about her clients and shows it through her work. I also worked with Carey-Ann and never had the connection or progress that I did with Olivia. I closed out my sessions with Olivia because I have improved mentally to the point that I don’t need therapy as support anymore! She is a genuine person who shows her clients that she cares, and I appreciate her very much. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our family has been working with Oliva for over two years, and I can honestly say she has been an incredible partner in our journey. I’ve watched my child grow in confidence and resilience, and I credit much of that to the consistency and care Olivia brings to every session. What sets her apart even further is her involvement in the school system. She regularly communicates with teachers and support staff, advocating for our child and helping us navigate educational challenges. Her willingness to work as part of the team means our child gets the support they need both at home and at school. If you’re a parent searching for a therapist who will truly invest in your child’s well-being and in your family’s journey, I can’t recommend Olivia highly enough. We are so grateful for her expertise, her heart, and her steadfast support.

The billing for this company is the most frustrating thing ever. They keep charging our insurance incorrectly and then we get large bills and they just debit your account automatically the full payment. Then when they… finally get the insurance adjustment they don’t even refund the money it gets applied as a “credit” to your future bills. If it weren’t for our child liking her therapist so much we would be searching somewhere else asap.

Waste of time and bad experience with Marlena. Was really hoping for a good outcome to family therapy. I tried to discuss starting with individual but she wanted to jump into more group, without understanding any of our… history. Marlena may have mentioned or warned of being a " reporter" and used tactics of calling CPS on my child's behavior to my child and seemed to have issues with my frustration about it ( as I want my kids to feel safer and trusting the first time in counseling). There is nothing out of the ordinary about our situations we were looking for better mental health in our house. She basically bailed on me without fair explanation, and never followed through with other referrals to continue as she said she would. I did like her personally and thought she had a fun personality to work with us but felt she wasn't professional or aggressive in doing her job to her best.

Olivia is amazing. She is great with my boys and has helped them so much. I highly recommend her.

My daughter has been working with Olivia for quite sometime now , and let me say Olivia you totally rock , you are the best !!!! You always know what to say to make her day better. Don't waste your time here there therapist are not educated one canceled me because she claims that I wasn't a "good fit" then tell me because the therapist don't believe me when I needed help I tried to reach out for… help threw them and they turned me away has nothing to do with insurance I don't know why they replied saying crap about insurance these people are a joke don't waste your time with these uneducated people

I had a really positive experience during the anger management class on 4/30 & 5/1. The person leading the class was very knowledgeable and made me feel like it was a safe space to open up about the issues that lead me… to needing the class. I wish I knew how much the class would help me so I could have taken it sooner.

Olivia is very helpful and positive! she has helped me meet a lot of my goals (she’s kinda cool lol :) )

I had Crystal as a counselor therapist and it wasn’t a pleasant experience. I felt like she shamed me and judged my lifestyle when I’m supposed to be there for help. She kept looking at her phone several times during… our sessions. It seemed like either she wasn’t paying attention or didn’t care. I switched to Cecilia. I was not judgmental but I got the feeling that I don’t need to come back if I’m planning on moving out of state. I thought that was something for me to decide.

Super impressed with the first experience here. Everyone was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We switched services with no issues. My only complaint is the length of time in-between scheduling appointments but I'm… going to consider it that this place is just that good. Can't wait to be worked into a consistent schedule. I'll update my review in 6 months. So far.... 5/5 stars!

Nasty attitude from staff every time I call. Counselor Rebecca Davis never called me back when I requested for her to do so.

Called Friday 4-22 for appointment, said someone would call Monday, no one called back. It's Thursday, 4-28 still no call back. Update, it's 5-2 no call back. Guess I'll try again.

The lady that runs the front office has no clue how to do her job....its sad that anyone has to deal with her..she is to lazy to open file to pull insurance info and wants everyone to send her a email with copy of… insurance info but she never opens her emails ..we send it one time for there records but she just cant do her job....

I went here for a few months with Crystal, but I didn't feel that I was being helped through my feelings, but that it was just and opportunity to vent; which wasn't what I needed. Crystal also has some biased opinions… on certain mental disorders like BPD. My mother has BPD and I couldn't cope with it in a nice way with Crystal. Otherwise good service.

I know 3 kids who see Ms. Sierra. She helps them with self esteem, organization, time management, and how they talk to themselves. They love her. And she is great with them. Very thankful we found this provider.
