MetroHealth – Brunswick Reviews and Ratings
Patients and loved ones with experience of MetroHealth are invited to leave a review here. Say what the program was like day to day, how staff treated you and how leaving treatment was planned.
Colon test was quick. Great doctors there. Great nurses as well.
Building is clean, and never crowded even with multiple offices inside
Person at check-in was not a pleasant person. Acted like it was a bother to check my appt. I arrived early (,by 25 minutes) . Next a soft speaking person took me across the hall for normal vitals. Went to an exam room.… Sat for about 40 minutes when the soft spoken female stuck her head in the door and mumbled something. (My hearing is not the best and I wasn't sure what she mumbled.) After another 15 minutes, (45 minutes after my appointment time) I got up and left.
I can only speak for our experience with the Pediatrics dept, but I was very impressed with the staff at this facility. They take extra time to ensure your child is comfortable. The entire visit from check in to… discharge was a pleasure!
Clean Modern Very Nice!
been waiting almost an hour and havent been seen
Rude nurse staff, lady got smart mouthy and sarcastic with me because I didnt know they using kiosks to check in now, very rude and unprofessional. Metro is sadly slowly going more and more downhill.
Waited for a primary visit on a new plan to get the referral. Then waited 3 months (that’s the earliest appointment they had!) for a dermatologist appointment to look at some moles I’m very worried about (skin cancer… has affected multiple immediately family members and this was mentioned when making the appointment). A little over a week before my appointment I get automated messages and text that I have to reschedule!!! When I call I get the call center. I have to wait another 3-4 months!!! I have been completely bumped and have to start all over??!! Earliest appointment with any Metro health center anywhere in Ohio that the call center had access to is nearly mid September?! (I asked and said I would go anywhere). In terms of skin cancer this is unacceptable. People can die in that amount of time. I still have no answer why I had to reschedule, no one can tell me anything. I haven’t had the appointment so all the numbers I can get go to some kind of cal center and not the actual doctors office? Why can others cannot be bumped so all new patients have to get moved a week or so instead of making someone worried about skin cancer wait over 6 months just for the initial visit (where surely nothing will be done except to confirm I need to make another appointment for a biopsy?!) Why not assess the urgency of patients visit and prioritize a little?? It feels like it’s going to be too little too late by the time I get in. It’s going to be over a year with this system before I actually get to see a specialist, just for the initial visit! And that’s if they actually keep my appointment this time instead of canceling on me! This system doesn’t work.
I see Mindy; I love her and don’t mind driving the distance but this place is consistently over an hour behind. every time I come here I am waiting and waiting, and it’s the same for phone visits too. I scheduled this… on my day off at a time that worked for me, not two hours later. it’s funny because they have a sign that says if you are 15 minutes late they will cancel you but we can sit in a room for 90 minutes and just have to deal with it.
Megan the receptionist is beyond amazing She went above and beyond for us. My appointments were all overbooked at the hospital then got canceled and she sat there for 15+ mins talking back and forth with the doctor that… way our son could be seen that day and rebooked all my other appointments that were canceled at the main campus❣️ Then Doctor Anthony J. Finizia is amazing as well he is very thorough, listens, and even draws up descriptions to help you better understand and he will take all the time out takes to address all your concerns Which is all very hard to find in a doctor let alone a pediatrician were blessed to have found such a great facility with amazing staff and doctors❣️❣️❣️
Great health care, consistently! My PCP is Mindy Schuller. She has been mine for several years and I used to see her at Middleburg Hts. Metro. This is a farther distance, but I have no problem driving farther to see her… for my care. I would go to the Eastside of South. The front desk is always friendly to me and so are the nursing staff. Today I had Megan and Lisa with Mindy. They were both great. We all have to wait at appointments, it happens. I am willing to wait for this quality health care. She always listens to me, doesn't judge and offers me the best advice. She also encourages me too. I really appreciate her and the team! Thank you! ❤️
Ive been calling all day because i am completely out of my prescription. Not enough for tomorow. Some doctor ive never ever seen denied my requests, i dont understand why someone ive never even met gets to decide if i… get my medication or not. They will not talk to me or communicate with me. Every person ive talked to just "sends a priority message". Keep in mind this is blood sugar medication, not drugs or something stupid. Awful awful network with nothing but subpar doctors who couldn't get hired anywhere reputable so they settled on metro where they just read off of a note card to tell you what the company thinks is wrong with you.
Best treatment ever
I came here for a routine wellness check. Melissa Rutti and her staff were amazing. Kristen was very comforting since I am afraid of needles. I was in and out within an hour. Highly recommended.
Easy Access. Tied to major medical center, if you need more care.
Great staff but consistently an hour behind. If you schedule at 11 dont expect to be seated til 12, dont expect to be done until 1:30
Distance isnt bad since this is the only place my insurance reccomended that is close. The only problem is that Tamara at the front desk has a severe attitude problem. This will be my second visit there with my baby and… she hasn't been nice at all. Rude as hell on the phone. She needs to listen to the patient before assuming we're not in the system. Very rude and unprofessional.
Nice place!
Such a friendly fast office
First, I drive a distance to come to this clinic when there are others much closer. Reason being, the staff provide outstanding customer service, from front desk to nursing to the doctors! Dr. Finizia is my favorite PCP… ever! He really takes an interest and spends time listening and examining. He is proactive and looks at the whole person before moving on to tests or recommending anything. He truly is a lifesaver!
