Rachael at Molly and Me Counseling has been an incredible help for my son and our family. From the very first visit, she made him feel comfortable, understood, and supported. She has a genuine way of connecting with… kids and really takes the time to listen and guide them in a positive direction. We’ve seen such a difference since working with her. She’s patient, compassionate, and truly cares about the kids she works with. As a parent, it means a lot to know your child is in good hands with someone who wants to see them succeed and grow. She listens to every concern I had during the intake appointment, she was very quick to take my son in as a client and I absolutely appreciate everything she does for us! I’ve taken my daughter here for 3 years total off and on. She saw a total of two therapist at the time. One when she was 2 and then again between 7 and 9 years old. When we went back the 2nd time everything was great… until we lost my daughter’s therapist she saw consistently for 2 years. It was cold turkey no warning no transition. It really hurt my daughter mentally. The professionalism in transitioning my daughter to a new therapist was horrible. They kept offering to terminate care for my daughter. It did not feel as though they cared about consistency for her. I was very disappointed. We since have left Molly and me and are finding care elsewhere.

Molly and Me Counseling is a great place! The staff is so kind and supportive. They are doing amazing things for the children and their families in our community!

I wish I could give Molly and Me a higher rating then just 5 stars!! They have helped my daughter gain confidence, along with giving us parents and her the language to be able to communicate in a healthy way. It has… been such a blessing to see my daughter heal along this journey! I am beyond grateful to Mrs Rachel and Molly and Me counseling! I would recommend them to EVERYONE I know!

This place has one Counselor that I liked.my younger son had her and she was amazing. She listed to me and the worry’s I had with my younger son. My oldest son counselor did not really listen to me at all nor did she… sound like she cared about any of my older son’s concerns. She said “I don’t see any issues or anything to be concerned about so I am fine with just taking him off and giving him a break from counseling.” But when I told her well I do and I want to keep him in. I was not given any name of any new counselor he would start with the front desk told me they will call me back when they did not I called the next fallowing week and they told me they took him off the list and I would have to re Register him. I told you don’t even worry. I will not be coming back. I would not take your kids here. Or the other location. That is we’re my oldest sons counselor moved to. Before you take your kids to any place do lots of research on the place.

I called to set an appointment for my 8 year old, and they won't help our son because we don't have insurance and are self pay. I can't believe they would turn down helping a child because of no insurance. This is… what's wrong with the world. They don't care about helping children, obviously

The best of the best for play therapy needs. Kids are so complex and as a parent I thoroughly appreciate the level of skill and professionalism with which this agency upholds. 10 out of 10!!

We have had an excellent experience getting counseling for our child here. They are competent play therapists with a child-centered focus and this is so valuable to find. I am grateful this is available to him.

This place is a joke. I submitted an online request for services for a family member and provided all the info they requested. Once I was able to make contact with them over the phone they asked if I was the legal… guardian to which I responded no. They refused to schedule an intake until the legal guardian called them. However they never confirmed that before they asked for all the info I gave them. I completely understand this however they did not go above and beyond to make this easy for a parent that works nights and sleeps days and at no time did they try to help. Seriously not a place I would take a child to.

Terrible counselors. I took my son here and there was very little communication between the counselor and the parent on what was being said or done. And when I was in the session with my son, I tried to sit quietly and… listen, but had I not said anything, she would have just let him play the entire time and not say anything. I felt like I was the counselor. I’ll be reading my own parenting books and doing a lot more on my own than they ever would. And not only that, the receptionist screwed up on our payments and insurance so we ended up owing a bunch of money all at once.

This is by far, one of the best clinics in town working with children. We were able to get our children the help they needed within a couple of weeks. That’s saying a lot with all the waiting lists in town. Therapists… there are very knowledgeable and compassionate, we’ve worked with a couple. My child loves going and hates to leave. I’ve been to agencies where I have not been included in my child’s therapy process, however at Molly And Me they are very inclusive of parents. My child had a hard time separating initially and my therapist allowed me to come in and sit in the room as they worked to get to know each other. Our therapist taught me good skills to use when my child has meltdowns from anxiety. I am so thankful for the opportunity to get an opening with this child friendly agency. I highly recommend.

Molly and Me Counseling are terrific counseling to children in Boise.I recommend to those who have young children who need a place to work through trauma or those who struggle with behaviors with their children. They… help me as a parent as much as they helped my kid. They incorporated me in the treatment process which surprised me initially, but in the end I was very thankful for that. My child is so much happier and I’m very thankful for the therapists and staff who helped us!

I would give this place a zero if I could. My daughter was referred here by an OT and we have been on a waiting list since early 2021. The first time there was a "computer glitch" and after waiting a few months we found… out she never was added. The second time we were on a waiting list a previous employee "did not follow standards" and we once again did not get properly placed on the list. All we need is a screening for a disorder we already know she has. Here is the kicker, she has just gotten worse and worse and without an official diagnosis we cannot move further in her treatment. Unbelievable. The gal answering the calls was nice, but could not tell that I was upset and just lectured me about how she couldn't schedule us without going through the protocols. I did follow the protocols, twice, and still do not have an appointment. I couldn't listen anymore and just hung up. I'm normally not like that, but I followed the rules and really couldn't listen to someone lecture me about how I needed to do that again while my daughter's health declines. To be fair all of the children's mental health agencies are like this so I guess it isn't unique to Molly and Me. How do we get care for our children in this valley? I'm beyond disappointed and desperate for help.

Scheduled appointment for me and my son separately. I have some cancer-related mental health issues I’m hoping to work on. The social worker I was supposed to meet with and the receptionist were talking loud enough I… could hear in the lobby. The social worker said she doesn’t like working with adults and said after she completed my intake she’d hand me off to someone else. When I asked if they were talking about me, the receptionist laughed. I canceled my appointment. I’m so sad and disappointed at their unprofessionalism.

I have called many therapy places for my kiddo. I have been told by several it will be months. I then found Molly & Me and decided to call. I called and the referral lady was amazing and we were scheduled for the next… week! I came on the office and it was clean and tidy. All the employees were smiling and very helpful. I recommend this amazing place to everyone I meet!

Regarding counseling, very little interaction with parents to go over concerns as they arise... Even saw a downturn in my sons behavior mood and overall attitude. Regarding billing they had me as having medicaid and ive… never applied for Medicaid in this state since i have insurace thru my employer. Cancelled services and got a call about a huge Bill i now have after only 4 sessions. Was told to call optum who has no record of my medicaid at all being active ...go figure... I call back and cant even speak to a person. This place is a hoax and disorganized. Scary to trust them with behavioral health ....

I had my son going here and at first thought it was great. However about the 2nd time going and having to bring concerns to bosses attention the councilor then started being disrespectful and there was o to little… communication. I ended going somewhere else.

We have the best counselor ever!!! I would recommend Molly and Me to anyone. We will never go anywhere else! The whole staff is absolutely amazing!

Won't see a child because his dad won't be supportive. An ignorant parent means a child gets to suffer per their policy. Even though the dad has no custody rights. Makes sense!
