About New Chance Inc – Dodge City

New Chance Inc operates from 2500 East Wyatt Earp Boulevard in Dodge City. The site sits in Ford County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. The practical catchment runs wider than the city limits, taking in people who travel in rather than finding care on their doorstep.

Detox, residential treatment, intensive outpatient and outpatient care are delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment and telehealth appointments. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves.

Detox and Rehab Services at New Chance Inc

Withdrawal management covers alcohol, benzodiazepine, cocaine, methamphetamine and opioid dependence and is handled on site rather than referred elsewhere. Someone starting in detox can move into residential care without changing provider or repeating an intake. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Residential runs both short and long term, so the question at intake is which length the assessment points toward. Ask what happens at the end of the program as well as the beginning, since that is where plans usually thin out.

New Chance Inc Address, Location and Contact Information

The address is 2500 East Wyatt Earp Boulevard, Dodge City, KS 67801, in Ford County. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Telehealth appointments cover some contact where travel is difficult, which removes part of the journey for people further out. Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Waiting times vary with capacity, so call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

It works if your ready to take responsibility and change your life. They save lives if your willing to save your own. Great place

This has got to be the most worthless place I have ever seen. I don't know how they can call themselves a rehabilitation service when they can't even deal with an addiction that gets upset. If you are going to have cats… on the premises don't tell the people there that they can't pet them. Horrible place if you or a loved one needs help. Please don't go to New Chance Inc in Dodge City Ks. I believe they are only there fir the government money.

Absolutely awful staff asked for visitation days to see a family member in therapy and not only were they beyond rude but they were not informative at all! It blows my mind what these people will put you through to… check on a loved one! And when I was finally told what days I could visit they wouldn’t tell me anything else I could bring (food, books, puzzles) for them or if I even needed to bring identification! They just said “you’ll have to talk around to the residence”

This was the start of my recovery, and absolutely a great place. I know I wouldn't be here today had it not been for the staff and facility at New Chance. 🤍
