About Nexus Path Luther Hall – Fargo
Nexus Path Luther Hall operates from 1505 5th Avenue South in Fargo. The site sits in Cass County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Briarwood, Frontier and North River. Distance matters here, and the nearest option is not always the one that fits.
Residential treatment is delivered here, alongside telehealth appointments. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Care offered spans more than one level, which means someone can move between them without changing provider.

Treatment Services at Nexus Path Luther Hall
Residential treatment runs to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.
Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together. Ask what happens at the end of the program as well as the beginning, since that is where plans usually thin out. Waiting times move with capacity, and what was true last month may not hold this week.

Nexus Path Luther Hall Address, Location and Contact Information
The address is 1505 5th Avenue South, Fargo, ND 58103, in Cass County. The catchment reaches Briarwood, Frontier and North River. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity.

Ask what a first appointment involves and how long the current wait runs before making the trip. Waiting times vary with capacity, so call ahead rather than arriving unannounced.

I hate Luther hall. The food is horrible, I barely eat while there. The kids are loud and fight constantly. My mental health has gotten 10x worse since I’ve been there, and my eating disorder has came back 1000x… stronger than before. It is not a good environment for kids whatsoever. The staff are great, no complaints there. But everything else is horrible. 0/10. If I could rate Nexus-PATH 0 stars, I would.
Luther Hall was an interesting experience for me.I was there last year, had some tough stuff happen but through all that pain and the struggle of trying to pick myself up, I found people there who helped me up dusted me… off. Those people were the staff, I never got to say goodbye to them. But they did help me through the whole process they supported me, and I'm so grateful for them today. Now I'm home and safe. I'm experiencing the life they told I could have. My names My name is Madison and I'm telling Luther hall I'm eternally grateful to you guys💕
This place saved me. They took the time to listen to me, even when I screamed at them because I was having a hard time expressing my emotions and trauma. They never seemed impatient with me and staff would stay with me… as long as I needed. They take the time to get to know you and they ask you before putting you on new medications. They took us on fun outings and gave us each our own music player. We even got to pick the music they put on it! They treated us like real people, not just something they were stuck dealing with until their shifts ended like other facilities I was at. I used to try ending my life all the time before going there. After leaving, I never attempted again. Its been two years since I was there and I will always be greatful for everything they had done for me.
I was here during 2020 , wild place let me tell you , and the food? Absolutely horrible they don’t feed you enough, they load you up on a bunch of SSRI’s and turn you into a zombie!
I was here for a year in 2014, i’ve heard it’s been worse since they linked up with PATH, and i’ve had horrible experiences with Path and their trauma and crisis therapists, and many other of their services and staff… and their board team is juuust awful. which is why i’m giving a one. I wouldn’t dare trust PATH with my kids’ safety. In 2014 though, i hated the staff but i also liked them a lot too. The cook Rachel was THE BEST cook i’ve ever met in my life and every wednesday we would get a sweet for the “snack” time and her fried ice cream was amazing, she treated me to sushi before she left too. I really did miss her but by then i was already almost out too, (i hope you’re doing good rachel!!!) I thought i should also mention back then, there were doors leading outside that didn’t lock, so we could run when we wanted lol. I was given a sandisk mp3 player back then and there was a whole book on songs you could have, i still have it! They also let us have roommates with the other girls under certain circumstances. I met some amazing staff and people in general back then. When i left, i did cry a lot because i missed them all. They did help me in the long run, but again, this place has clearly gone downhill and i wouldn’t ever put my kids here considering…path. 🤢
I was there in 2018 to 2019, the staff was horrible, the cook would test new food on the kids I got super sick I could not walk I had to ho to the hospital from how sick I was I had to go home early and has lots of… physical therapy now I can walk but this place is horrible you also have to earn to leave the felicity and if you want to see your family you have to reach a certain level to see them you also have certain days to call your family. They give you a snack once a day the snack tray is empty most of the time, when you eat a meal it’s not even a meal it is like a mini lunchable nothing good I lost 25 pounds and my doctor said for me being 13 I shouldn’t be that skinny. YOU HORRIBLE PEOPLE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS PLACE!
I heard the food was decent from my brother
Warm and welcoming. Staff is polite. Facility is clean, organized,
Very professional and they really care for the kids and making families succeed.
Dave is very helpful, can tell he likes working there, has compassion for the residents. Think he works @ Fraser, too.
This is the best place in the world. They are very helpful. If you have a troubled teen and don’t know what to do... let them help you. My daughter did a 360 and is a better person because of them!!
Don't know if I can help with unless you are talking about the village
Love their heart for kids
I was here a while back ago. They sure did help me through so much. Honestly would do it all over again. But because of the great staff that supported me, I am now doing the same thing and helping kids just like me back… in the day.
I was there October 2006- August 2007. I was moved to luther hall from home on the range for behaving badly. It was the best move ever! We got to go to Minnesota for twins games and timber wolves games. Had I been there… a couple weeks more I wouldve been able to go to the state Fair in minnesota! The food was amazing. Homemade. I really wish I could remember the name of the lady who cooked our food but I cant. She would make us a cake and whatever we wanted to eat for dinner on our birthday. I absolutely loved it there! That was 10 years ago now so I'd imagine they have all knew staff and maybe things are a little different now. If it changed for the worse I'm sure it's because of kids messing up and getting privileges taken away. I really wish I knew the name of the lady that was in charge when I was there. Lisa maybe? She was pretty cool! And she had a Persian cat that she brought in once for us. He wasn't a fan of ppl tho. Anyway, this is my favorite group home! HOTR wasn't too bad either. Just sucks that it's in the middle of nowhere.
THIS PLACE IS THE WORSE, THEY POURED WATER ON ME WHEN I WAS SLEEPING TO TRY TO WAKE ME UP, MY SISTER IS THERE RN AND I BARELY EVER GET TO TALK TO HER. THEY MAKE UP EXCUSES TO HAVE ME NOT TALK TO HER THIS PLACE NEEDS TO… BE SHUT DOWN ASAP
Great employees
