Pineland BHDD – Baxley

Referred here by Doctors of Compassionate services for my needs after stroke. Asked them before from Jesup did they take my caresource insurance through Martketplace they said yes. I arrived 20 minutes before… appointment time and asked again before feeling out paperwork they said yes. After filling out waiting 30 more minutes another lady came up to windows told me they don't take my insurance, I just started crying and very upset because they lied too me twice when I really need help with my emotions negativity, anxiety, and more. I give up on trying to find counseling and stop paying for my health insurance as no one accepts it. Frustrating, aggravating, upsetting, sadness, angered. What is the point. If on Medicaid or disability you get all the help you can get.

I take my teen there for counseling and med management. In all honestly I'm VERY unhappy with the run-around we get at this facility. They have several P.A.'s or DNP's that all work under one MD (The MD is NEVER there)… and the DNP's can't sign any prescriptions for controlled medications (only the MD can). Have to make a separate trip to come back a week or so to pick up prescriptions. We live an hour away so this method of doing business is very inconvenient for us. Counseling is also on a rotation. Most all is performed virtually and not in-person and you never seem to see the same person twice. So, in short, I would not recommend if you have access and the ability to go someplace else. I gave credit (extra star) because this place is open if you are in crisis mode and need someplace immediately, otherwise do your homework and find someplace else.

I tried to take my 12 year old here and they were very rude. They wanted me to provide income that I don't have and lie on paper. They made my son feel so uncomfortable. I would NOT recommend going here unless your a… drug addict and need injections.
