About Providence Comprehensive Treatment Ctr – Providence

Providence Comprehensive Treatment Ctr operates from 66 Pavilion Avenue in Providence. The site sits in Providence County, which shapes which public funding routes apply. Nearby communities include Central Falls, Cranston and East Providence. Distance matters here, and the nearest option is not always the one that fits.

Outpatient care is delivered here, alongside medication-assisted treatment, an opioid treatment program and telehealth appointments. Which level fits depends on the assessment rather than on what is available, so the useful first question is what that assessment involves. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Treatment Services at Providence Comprehensive Treatment Ctr

Outpatient care runs to a set weekly schedule, with evenings and weekends spent at home. That suits people holding down work or caring responsibilities, though it asks more of someone managing early recovery alone. Ask what the assessment involves before you commit.

Buprenorphine, methadone and naltrexone are available and paired with counseling rather than prescribed alone. Trauma-specific services run alongside, which matters where the two are tangled together. Assessment decides the level of care, so ask what that involves and how quickly it can happen.

Providence Comprehensive Treatment Ctr Address, Location and Contact Information

The address is 66 Pavilion Avenue, Providence, RI 02905, in Providence County. The catchment reaches Central Falls, Cranston and East Providence. Confirm what a program covers before traveling in, since the level of care listed is not always the level with capacity.

Just started coming here a month ago and I’ve been kicking myself for not coming sooner. Definitely had some misconceptions about methadone clinics that have all been proven wrong by personal experience here. Every… single member of the staff from the security at the door to the counselors, medical staff, and dosing nurses are incredibly kind and supportive and just want to see you succeed. Despite being spread thin and having minimal staff for the sheer volume of patients they see the staff is always so positive, helpful, and caring. I am incredibly grateful for every single person working here. I have already seen a difference in my life from having a set schedule in the morning to adhere to, and the staff here made this entirely possible for me. I don’t think I would’ve been this motivated to become clean if it wasn’t for the people that make up PCTC. Thank you so much! Y’all have made a difference in so many peoples’ lives, including mine.

I've been coming here since 2018 and my experience here has been nothing but positive, my life has made a complete turnaround . I've put alot of effort into my recovery and PCTC has played a big part In it. My counselor… is always there if I need her and the dosing nurses are very personable and professional. I've never felt judged which is very important to me, I would recommend them to anyone looking to improve their lives with medicated assisted treatment. It's not easy , but anything worth having is worth making an effort for
