My son was sick with fever and we missed an appointment. We called as soon as they opened and let them know and rescheduled. We asked if we could get his mental health meds refilled until our next visit (two weeks… later) and they refused. My son was without his mental health medication. Would not recommend if you rely heavily on medicine being filled.

Jacinta and Jarmar has been exceptional for me for the past two and half years! The office staff is second to none! They remember your name! I appreciate these services and I encourage anyone to come to River City!… Thank you, all very much! Have a blessed week!

Dr Walker is wonderful. He is very thorough and is most intelligent doctor I have ever seen. He listens and treats you with respect.

This is an awesome agency that provides effective solutions to clients in need of behavioral services. This agency was a lifesaver to my family. I highly recommend this establishment because of the positive outcomes… that I received. Staff was friendly and attentive. Wait time was phenomenal. Very Stress free environment.

Okay, so I'm not sure that this Facebook page is active, but the information is accurate as far as the address and such. I wanted to leave a review for people who may have found themselves in the same boat as I did. I… visited multiple clinics in an attempt to find relief from my anxiety disorder and panic attacks, and had absolutely no luck. One clinic determined I wasn't worth treating because I didn't score high enough on clinical scales of depression (which wasn't even what I was presenting with; further, as a psychometrics graduate myself, I know that one should never rely solely on clinical scale assessments). The second actually threatened to "put me in the shred pile" and "not treat me" because I held a job that would not allow me to call them back to reschedule an appointment THAT DAY. I missed the appointment because the time was wrong on my appointment card, so not even my fault. I write all this to say... these issues led me here. The people here at River City are FANTASTIC. They're nice, caring, professional, and understanding of schedule conflicts. They have a psychiatric doctor come in WEEKLY for medication management (almost unheard of around here--most clinics have doctors that visit monthly). They accept my insurance (a rarity with Medicaid). I've seen Dr. Agarwal (within a week of assessment), was given medication to suit my needs, am awaiting scheduling for counseling, and am already feeling much more like myself.
