All of the staff I interacted with were very friendly and helpful. There were too many nurses to remember but Alan, Joey, Zykia, and Hannah were especially kind and made the experience as good as it could be
On 9 /11/2026 my husband took me to upson regional medical center after going 4 different hospital had over 5 hour wait.i went in with thinking it was my pendix I wanna brag on a nurse name kailey was amazing nurse she… took care of me and dr Abdullah amir yuaef he was great he took ct scan see if was my pendix come find out it was bad stomach virus and food poisoning. I got there 7 pm left at 1 am upson regional hospital will be where I go .it was 45 mint where I live it was worth the drive clean and very friendly staff Thanks brenda adkins
Wonderful experience, nurse's were the best took great care of me, and very attentive to my needs. Food was excellent 👌 would highly recommend.
I had a very scary hospital experience after having a seizure, but I want to give a special shoutout to Cody, one of the nurses who cared for me. He was so friendly, genuine, compassionate, and positive. I could… literally feel the positivity radiating off of him! He went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and cared for, even offering to help me take a shower when I needed one. That kindness meant so much to me during such a vulnerable and frightening time. Cody is truly a wonderful nurse, and I hope Upson Regional knows what a special employee they have. Thank you, Cody, for making a difficult experience a little easier. 🩷🩺
Went a couple weeks ago and they were able to see me very quickly. However I was there for severe vomiting and was unable to use the bathroom because of severe dehydration. They treated the nausea and since I wasn’t… able to go to the bathroom only ran a pregnancy test with the urine I was able to provide. Went back a couple days later because the same issues were still happening and again they only ran a pregnancy test with the urine provided. They treated the nausea and sent me on my way where the next day I was having the same issues and went to a different hospital and was diagnosed with a kidney infection. They were in such a hurry to dismiss me and the staff I saw on both days were quite rude.
Excellent care
No stars. This place I wouldn't recommend to anyone extremely unprofessional eat while taking your blood and compromised the samples. Very unwelcoming nurses and doctors used foul language while on the job. Doctor… recorded asking about why I had come there. They laughed mocked like it was a joke. Never came to check on me after coming back from the bathroom my heart monitor, oxygen, or EKG was hooked back up. I was denied water in the front saying they didn't have any and the entire staff including the security guard were are rude , unprofessional and unwelcoming. When trying to find my way out back to the lobby the security guard was very hateful in telling me how to exit. I did not get the respect or help I needed or deserved and one staff member complained of other patients as well. I will die before I ever go back to that place. They need to be investigated and shut down.
You have an infant that the parents were told that the child was gonna be lifelotted to the children's hospital. To make him this, lifelight has been canceled multiple times now you're saying an ambulance has to come… get the child, but first y'all need a car seat. So the father is waiting because y'all told him that it was the child was gonna be lifelided. If it was not, if the child was not going to be life lighted, he would have never left. But now he's waiting on an ambulance to drop someone off to come to where he is across the street, to pick up the car seat to come back to this hospital, upsen county. Pick up the infant in his mother and take a going back to making to the children's hospital. The loft light was supposed to have been done several hours ago. This is unacceptable. This is horrible, and this is the kind of things that y'all do there.
fast , nurturing, and effective care from the URMC staff everytime.
The nurses in the ER are nice and pleasant but the overall experience was long, drawn out, and i was discharged without any new information. The discharge papers only listed 1 of the issues i was having, not the main… one that caused me to go there in the first place. I gave them my current medications, while barely able to breathe, 3-4 times and they still did not have them listed on the discharge papers but had medications that i have not taken in several years.
Sometimes I feel like I need to be admitted in but they say I am fine. I don't understand. How can that be. I think I should have been admitted in. Didn't give me a urine test. And still had chest pains.I just found out… one of my co-workers been out there and didn't have to pay nothing. She said she didn't see a doctor. That ain't fair.
I had an HSG appointment earlier this week. It was a quick procedure but the staff is amazing from the ladies at the front desk to the xray area staff everyone is welcoming! Shout out to sweet Donna (thank you for… praying for me and my husband!)
Took my daughter there 11/17 @ 11pm,we walked out ar 2:30, we wasn't getting cared for at all! It was a hot mess!!
Thank you for the amazing care you gave our Dad during a critical time. You saved his life! Everyone was so sweet, helpful and amazing! Your Dr and Nurses was top notch!!
I had some lovely nurses and staff care for me, when I was admitted! They were patient, answered all my questions, comforted me when I was anxious, and overall had really good bed side manners! Well done!
My momma IS PREGNANT and the side of her face is LITERALLY ALMOST FROZEN in place not literally but like paralyzed!! And she has been there for an hour and no one has done anything! I understand THERES other people BUT… WHAT IF THIS COULD HURT MY FUTURE SIBING!! OR WORSE MY MOM! PLEASE TAKE CARE OF OUR PEOPLE
Saved my life. Food was good. Everyone was always very very nice. Difference between this and Griffin is wild.
I am from a neighboring county. Back in the day, this hospital was known for being terrible. No one wanted the ambulance to take you to Thomaston. Wow!! What a difference! 2/22/26, We walked into the ER on a Sunday… morning. My husband was seen right away. The staff was VERY friendly & thorough. The nurse staff on the floor was not as good as ER, but they could be somewhat friendly. The same as on most experiences we’ve had…they are kindly talking and laughing at night. We are at the far end of the hall from the nurses station, but some of them gathered at our door (room321) last night & had a “party”!!
I couldn't wait to get home to make this review. The staff was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!. Dr. Aharonov is an AWESOME doctor and made my family and I feel comforted and he went above and beyond to take excellent care of my… daughter. He was so patient and kind. And very knowledgeable. The R.N. Nick was kind and awesome as well. He was so patient as well. The R.N. Georgia at the front made us feel so comforted and she's an absolute sweetheart. An amazing soul. I didn't get the young lady's name who walked us to our room but she was very kind, sweet and comforting as well. URMC definitely has an amazing team. Thank y'all so much for all you do.🥰
The evening shift emergency room was well prepared and met us at the door. All nurses including Clinton worked quietly and effectively. Dr. Michael Raphael did a great job with sutures and quickly calmed my son Will… down . I would recommend him to everyone for the attention he gave my son .
I just spent 10 days in this hospital and literally every nurse, Dr and tech I came I'm contact were the nicest people I met in my life. Even the house keepers and cafeteria people that came up were extra nice. I went… in for 3 abscess I had in my leg/side and they took it very seriously and made sure I had the treatments/surgeries I needed. No other hospital I have went to over several years even attempted to help but this one went in and cut it out and give me a wound vac and antibiotics. I have been to plenty of hospitals in my life and this one is by far the best yet. This will be the hospital I go to for anything from now on. I cannot express how much I appreciate the WHOLE staff at this hospital, they were all just so nice and knew what they were doing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
Ct scan tech and ultrasound tech were BOTH fantastic. The front desk and triage staff were as well. They are the only reason I am giving them any stars. ER nurses were pleasant but seemed distracted easily. The Nurse… practitioner thought she was much more important than she was and only visited my room twice in an 8 hour period. I never saw an actual doctor. Maybe the hospital is understaffed?
I just went last night for a migraine that had been going on for 8 days at that point. Every staff member I encountered was wonderful and kind. You could tell that they really cared. My nurse was awesome. I can't… remember his name probably because of my head being scrambled from the migraine; but he was attentive, kind, personable and if I needed something- he made it happen in a reasonable time even though he was extremely busy. I ended up having a very unpleasant and scary side effect to a medication while I was there and they where able to figure out which one it was, tell me and give me medication to counteract the side effect. They noted it in my chart as well. I really appreciate that even more so, because a previous hospital I went to when I lived in a different state would kind of brush me off when I told them. I might not have been insistent enough then. That's a big reason I felt really advocated for at this hospital last night. Thank you to all of the staff and doctors that took care of me last night ❤️
We, my wife and I, use the Wellness gym and pool. We attended a heated pool aerobic class which is very relaxing and maintains cardiovascular and strength. The staff is friendly and very friendly and helpful.
