Sobriety First Treatment Center – Saint Cloud Detox and Rehab Services
Services at Sobriety First Treatment Center – Saint Cloud run to intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Structured outpatient runs to a schedule while people return home in the evening. Ask what the assessment recommends before comparing anything else. Waiting times vary, so it is worth asking at the first call.
The focus here is on one side rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Medication-assisted treatment combines approved medication with counseling and clinical review. Ask how the program handles someone who has been through treatment before.

My go to place when in need of advice or assessment help.
Not long ago I would have and did recommend going to Sobriety first, but I highly recommend if you have any other option I would recommend you don't go here, they may take you to these events and stuff but dong be… fooled with that part, cause that wears off, when I was last there they were waving the fees of a client who's daddy was supposedly something special at the nest, but when your struggling, not even living pay check to pay check, from helping support you parents battling cancer and one just lost his battle, and when your already struggling is when they add to it never mind the wave fees for certain people, the nickles and dimes your insurance doesn't cover that builds up cause the so many weeks of out patient program they say, be aware it is going to be more like a year or more, so just long enough that if you can't pay it well you will to end up getting a letter in the mail where you are being taken to small claims court plantiffs listed Sobriety first. If you have any other option definitely choose them, if no other options, don't be fooled by the events and stuff like other treatments if not a little worse due to the fact most treatments you or insurance pays they don't waive fees for some but take others to court when they are struggle. They only care about a dollar.
I started calling this facility yesterday at around 2:30pm. It was busy all afternoon. I sent an email and they replied saying that they tried to call me back but my phone 'didn't work.' Convenient... also not true. My… phone works just fine. I have been trying again all day today. Still busy... So, for apx. 24 hours, nobody answered the phone and nobody could leave a message. The number 1 person in my world is attending their 'treatment' and I have cause to believe that he is in grave danger and their phone has been busy for 24 hours. It doesn't matter if it's an emergency - answer the damn phone. Incompetent, unprofessional, disgusting. Now I need to take this further. So sick. Update: It is now Friday - still busy. Upon their direction, I sent an email to my loved one's counselor and have not received any correspondence. Over the course of 2.5 days, 36 calls and a few emails have been met with busy signals, lies, no accountability and no response.
Great people with help and resources Trina ,Craig whole staff is great
☆I don't personally get treatment here☆ But a family member was. And for year that person along with the rest of the group was being released from classes much earlier than the insurance company was being billed for. We… watched that person skip group over and over and over without getting in any trouble. I don't know if what we were told about group is true but if so they knew our family member was relapsed & didn't report it. And they got caught and were worried about getting in trouble with insurance companies for fraud for letting people go early...
Sobriety first is so helpful and the events they go to shows there is a way to have fun sober
Sobriety First Treatment Center is by far one of the best Treatment Centers i have ever been apart of. The community of Sobriety First is the longest standing community of people in recovery I have yet to see. The… events they put on for clients and family have been one of the most essential parts of my recovery. I would and will recommend Sobriety First to anyone and everyone I know serious about finding a better way to live. Thank you all so much for being part of the recovery community in Minnesota.
With five different locations, Sobriety First has been an excellent choice for me. What sold me on joining was that they host and attended sober events, conventions, and even camping on the weekends. These events are… encouraged but not mandatory. You can bring a plus one, including your kids, and they pay for your hotel rooms, food, and even are willing to help with transportation! You can tell they really care, you can be yourself, and it's a great way to get involved in the sober community and build a strong support network! To the negative reviews, all I can say is, I understand it's hard to have patience in recovery, and it's easy to be quick to judge. But if you give things a chance you'll be surprised! I've learned that with recovery, you get what you put into it. "Remember, anything you put before your sobriety you will lose. So, Keep Sobriety First!"
Amazing program,it saved my life.
Lovely place with lovely employees. Promotes growth and healing in a safe and friendly environment. Highly recommend :)
They were real flexible around my work schedule and other appointments. Held fun activities. Kerry is my favorite 😀
This place only gets 1 star and that's being generous. In order to post this I had to give it at least 1 star. In my first month I learned absolutely nothing! Wouldn't recommend this place not even to my enemy. My… counselor was a joke only thing she knew how to do was pass out UA cups. I never got any assignments until I begged for one and that was upon leaving this place to go somewhere else. I had 20 years in prior to my relapse and was very disappointed in this place since new ownership. If you value life and your Sobriety go somewhere else. Seriously! Go anywhere but here.
Quite obviously for profit. Don’t use this service. Getting everything they can out of you.
The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. I’ve never been in a treatment facility, but I’m glad I choose this one
I have been here for several Months and will be graduating very soon as well as celebrating my 2 years of sobriety. The counselors and peer recovery specialists are AMAZING
Could at least return phone calls if they wanted to at least pretend to care. Had an initial appointment, seemed to go okay. After that called and left a couple messages on different days to set up appointments. Also… left spelling of my last name and phone number. Still no word from these people.
Great place to start your recovery. Staff members are excellent and they should get paid more 🙌
Very good place to go the employees and counselors are great and helpful and the environment is very welcoming and friendly. And specifically speaking on the night shift counselors and staff they are very helpful and… empathetic! Definitely recommend checking it out if your struggling with addiction and are seeking help it’s a one stop shop!
I graduated from the Monticello Soberity 1st with help of a fun loving and caring staff, that taught and showed me a better way to live sober. Thanks to you all.
I have struggled most of my life with alcohol abuse. This was the first treatment center that actually wanted to help. Others seemed like I was a number and a bill they could send out. The staffing at Sobriety First was… there even when I tripped over myself. I would recommend them to anyone that is struggling and wants a chance of life!
The assessment only took a half hour and I had to get a second opinion that was way more spit on. Fyi, that assessment took 90 minutes.
I was willing to join this program until they told me 5 days a week 3 hours a day just for weed Before they told me this they were wanting me to take a u.a I never declined it I just asked if I can take it next week… because I been sober for 2 months and I just failed my home u.a before I went there the reason I asked if I can take it next week is because my p.o said he would lock me up for smoking again and he goes by the 1 month rule witch means the THC will be out your system no matter what and I didn't wanna take there u.a and fail and have them tell my p.o I never took the u.a because I didn't agree with my recommendations and they actually called my p.o and left a msg saying I refused the u.a I think that's pretty disrespectful and snitching at its finest they don't got loyalty dont come here and by the way my p.o never told me to come here I was actually turning myself in my p.o never recommended this place so its lame that they called him..
I have had the most amazing journey of recovery and Sobriety First and their staff were and still are a huge part of that.. I came to know that you have to completely ready and willing to want help and recovery. You… just put the work in and be rigorously honest... This was something I was lacking for many years.. Sobriety First is a place to be open and honest with great feedback ... highly recommended !!!
Sobriety First saved my life. I had been to other area treatment centers, and they felt impersonal or punitive, rather than like I was receiving care. Then, a friend who had also “failed” the same treatment program I… did told me I should try Sobriety First, because it finally worked for her. I am so glad I did. I found an accepting, nurturing environment, with low staff to client ratios and a highly individualized, meaningful program. My counseling group felt like a family. The care from my group leader (Gwen) was just so genuine, it was contagious. When conflicts or problems arose (rarely, but there’s usually some minor conflict in treatment, considering that everyone is going through a hard time), the “extended family,” the rest of the staff, expressed concern. I felt reassured that the patient’s individual experience is always addressed and respected. We were challenged to delve deeper, stay honest, and take concrete steps to improve our lives. This, again, is where the individualized focus is strong. No cookie cutter solutions, here. I made more mental and chemical health progress at Sobriety First than all the counseling and treatment I had before, put together. The strongest proof is that I have finally stayed drug free! I recommend it to everyone I meet, seeking recovery.
The staff really now how to make you feel right at home !
Don’t go here if you have to take an alcohol class you will loose 100$ an not even take the class because no counselors decide to show up!
Worst treatment center. Better off using.
