Tioga County Dept Mental Hygiene – Owego

Dr.Webster is a mental health specialist so why am I seeing him for Suboxone? He has very little knowledge about drug addiction or Suboxone. I could explain why I'm saying this but it's not even necessary because anyone… that goes there probably knows exactly what I'm talking about.

Trouble in Paradise. Rumors say... this mental dept. Is in big trouble. Having a hard time, keeping therapists and clients. Doctor Jeannette Hathorn told me they are in, troubled times. People, Defamation is defamation,… only if it's not the truth. I never lie.

This place does not protect you from abuse and my providers let down this place is a fraud and severe infringement of automony and mental state. This Therapy is coerced and used for torment, control, punishment and not… help at all. I lost my father and I may be quitting because this is supposed to be help- voluntarily not to be used as torture and torment I'm supposed to trust this place for help but it seems to me there's another therapist by the name of Jessica my mother sees who's continuously to cause me problems and does not even know me when I'm seeing my own separate counselor causing relationships issues with my mother she does not understand me doesn't know me and I am all alone in this matter and counselors are used for harm

TCMH is the BEST mental therapy Association i have ever had the pleasure to go to.

If you have a panic attack while in the clinic they will call security on you and try to force call an ambulance. How does anyone working at a "mental health" clinic not know how to handle a person going through a panic… attack. I was puking in the toilet and multiple people were acting like I was going to hurt someone screaming to me at the door of the rest room that secuirty will ne notified hahahahahaahahaa after they just turned my son who is in desperate need of therapy away Because a 14 year old child Has the choice in his own therapy . When it was told to me by my child's caseworker that he needed to be in therapy. After we left that appointment my son assulted me in front of the dss building almost causing an car accident. I had to file a police report with the sheriff's department. I get home and get a call from CPS because someone in that office called on me for having a panic attack. I was assaulted by my 14 year old child after leaving and they called cps on me. Thats definitely the solution. Not a very helpful organization.

Went here for my anxiety and saw Carrie. Was more concerned with if I was vaccinated or not than with actually helping me. Talked the entire time about herself to try and "calm me down" but just made it worse and when I… started explaining to her why I was there she asked "why are you crying?" in a very demeaning way.

I am so impressed by the therapy services offered here! I like that they offer zoom group sessions too and the ability to do therapy sessions on the phone or in person - the flexibility is really helpful for those of us… with little ones. Michelle and Jessica are wonderful as well as everyone here, I highly recommend Tioga mental health!

I absolutely happy with my service her at TCMH. I have been working with all the staff for several years.. I currently am going back to them and I have confidence in the team and peer advocate who wok there.

Illness, financial distress, you are pretty certain you can't take one more step. Anxiety, you can't breath, what do you do? Tioga County Mental Health was there to help me when I couldn't help myself. I fist had to… admit I needed help. Good luck and greatest thanks.
