Valley Hope of Cushing – Cushing Detox and Rehab Services

Valley Hope of Cushing – Cushing runs detox and residential treatment. Detox runs under medical supervision, and the first three days carry the highest risk with alcohol and benzodiazepines. Ask whether family can be involved and at what stage. Establishing what happens after the program ends is worth doing early.

Only one side is covered here, so ask directly if both are needed. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. Whether medication is available is worth confirming at the outset. Ask what the assessment recommends before comparing anything else.

My husband went there for kratom addiction. He left early but has been sober for 6 months!! I credit them with helping him get over the physical symptoms with care and compassion. Truly life changing!! And his insurance… fully covered his stay. Family days were insightful and it's a very nice, interesting property. Id recommend it to anyone facing addiction. Hope is out there, you can do it!!

Valley Hope is amazing! Every person is very caring and make you feel like you can do this. The quality of care, facility, recovery program team are exceptional. They also have aftercare so when you get out you have… great options for continued care. They check on you periodically to make sure you are okay. I highly recommend Valley Hope Cushing for anyone with drug or alcohol dependency that want to stop.

My experience at Valley Hope was truly life-changing. From the staff to the patients, every part of the environment was uplifting, supportive, and focused on real recovery. The team treated me with compassion, dignity,… and professionalism every single day. They created a space where I felt safe to grow, be honest, and begin rebuilding my life. The sense of community among the patients was just as powerful. Being surrounded by others walking the same path made the experience incredibly meaningful and productive. Valley Hope didn’t just help me stop using — they helped me start living again. I’m deeply grateful for the care, structure, and hope they gave me during my time there.

I have been to over 20 recovery centers in my 57 years of life. When I was finally beat to near death and knowing I was going to prison; then I was ready to receive the gift of recovery. Valley Hope was amazing from… (individual therapy, small groups, and Ray B, John B and Chaplain Kyle’s lectures) to the nursing, AA, and family program. I stayed for 45 days and it built a foundation for me to continue a happy and amazing life in the “real world” with a loving wife and friends. The actual campus is truly special and you will meet and become close to a host of friends. If you or a loved one are done with pain, mistakes and addiction has become the only life you know; make the phone call to Valley Hope. I pray to see you with a new host of friends and together we can enjoy a new freedom and live as never imagined possible! Sober wishes, Patrick R.

Valley Hope has changed my life. I went from isolation in a motel room doing drugs, to being a productive citizen. I’ve been sober 54 days today and a huge part is because of Valley Hope. Sincerely thankful for all of… the staff, from the nurses, to the kitchen to the custodial; everyone cares and gave me hope! Attending the Valley was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. My relationships have been restored with family members that I never thought would be. I have a job, in sober living and attend meetings regularly with N.A. Special thanks to Mrs. Pat and Mr. John B. I love y’all and if anyone needs help getting their life back together, please consider this awesome program! It’s not simply a rehab, this is a place of recovery and transformation! God Bless you all! Semper Fi. -Joshua

I’ve been to the Valley… ……. now I have Hope! This place, at this time, with these people. This combination gave me my life back. They reminded me of who I was - and helped me discover that I kinda like that guy! The… Valley has no magic answer. Instead what they offer is a set of tools to live a clean and sober, joy filled life. The path to SOBRIETY CERTAINLY ISN’T EASY. However, at the Valley I was able to recognize that THE PATH IS CLEAR. As long as we DO THE WORK - we can thrive once again. And, while we certainly DONT HAVE TO…because of Valley Hope…WE GET TO feel human once again. I will be eternally grateful to all that Valley Hope is…sunrises, sunsets, hugs, life lessons, and generous spirits offered with grace, knowledge, and kindness. My prayer each day is that I can give back to the recovery community in gratitude for the precious gift that the Valley has given me. 48 days Clean and Sober Thank you Valley Hope of Cushing!

More of a cult than an a rehab. You make one mistake. They put you on a podium and let everyone in the rehab bash you over and over while nobody steps in, when they did nothing but affect there own sobriety and admitted… they made a mistake to the counselor. Sad when even the counselors don't care how your treated and just used them to make a point. Another money hungry fake rehab.

DO NOT GO! The counselors/therapist here are terrific. They are one of the kind. They really want to help you but when somebody in the staff messes up, YOU WILL be the one that PAYS for it. DO NOT go here and save… yourself the trouble! They forgot about an entire IOP class! THEY knew about covering for weeks and instead of apologizing to us, when we were all waiting for them! From what I understand the woman that was supposed to cover our IOP (while original therapist was on vacation) is now the Director!! So DO NOT go here!! don’t say you have not been WARNED!!! Edit to add: I want to be clear what happened.. Our IOP was forgotten about. 1.5 hours later the staff scrambled to get it together. A few people showed up. A few days after the group was forgotten about ( I actually attended the reminder of the class) they told me didn't count towards my graduation/completion of the program. I was to make it up. What it boils down to is money. Remember the director is the one that forgot 10 addicts. Those 10 addicts remembered. We were there. I love the therapists tho. In the end, I didn't have to make it up and graduated.

Beautiful facility. Friendly staff and counselors. AMAZING food. The only thing negative I would have to say is it’s a very expensive program for just 30 days. They give you a lot of freedom, which can be a good or bad… thing, depending on how bad you really want to get sober. You can force a horse to the river, but you can’t make it drink. Other than that, I had a great experience here.

Sadly, I must update my review from a 5⭐ to a 1 because of the intake person named "Susan". My loved one NEEDS inpatient care and her condescending tone and cocky attitude towards me made an already frustrating and… scary situation even more frustrating and scary! First, my loved one already gave verbal permission to speak with me and to allow me to help them through the admission process. My loved one was EXTREMELY ill from their addiction at the time we called Valley Hope and Susan did not quite grasp that. Susan talks over the client's family and has NO CLUE about the family dynamics and WHY I had to help my loved one make decisions. She literally talked my loved one out of the going inpatient which is what they need, to the outpatient program and though this, Valley Hope is setting my loved one up for failure, because they aren't going to get the full benefit of the program! Very sad that Valley Hope has gone so far downhill at least in their intake department. So, if you call, and you get Susan, ask for another intake counselor! I just hope Susan will be the one next time my loved one uses to hold her hair back at the toilet when she's puking her guts out 23 hours a day and SHE'LL be one to take her to the ER when she needs fluids due to severe dehydration, and SUSAN will be the one to drive her to her IV Hydration appointments to get further fluids to stop renal failure from occurring, because I WON'T DO IT AGAIN! 2022.... This facility is AMAZING! I had a loved one voluntarily admit themself (won't say which kind of loved one to protect their privacy) and it was the best decision they made. Valley Hope is a place of true healing and understanding. My loved one said they felt safe there and the nursing staff was so kind and accommodating. Rooms are nice and the food is good, although my loved one said they didn't eat much as they were coming off of being very sick. The facility is situated in a very quiet area on a very pretty piece of land. The facility from the outside looks large, but they try to keep the facility's population at a level where each person coming in for treatment feels attended to and cared for. This isn't like state ran facilities! No giving up your cell phone (except during counseling and informative sessions), no stripping you of your own clothing to put on scrubs.... Just a place to heal as an individual. If you or a loved one need help, reach out to them; it'll be the best decision you ever made.
