Awesome, caring, compassionate humans!
If I could give zero stars I would. These people are highly unprofessional, unethical, and are SEVERELY lacking in training on how to care for people with disabilities. These people want control over meds and your… finances and once they get that, your care goes out the window. I can’t get a breakdown of expenses for my family member (I have a signed ROI) they give me the runaround when I ask for it and defer me to person after person… a never ending circle. They tell my family member that they don’t have money for medicine copays and make her wait until the next check comes to pick up meds. I’ve had one social worker intimidate and bully my family member making her extremely uncomfortable as she came from a very abusive situation and doesn’t deal with aggression well. I thought the issue would be resolved quickly, but instead the supervisor proceeded to cover for the social workers behavior and make excuses, telling me my disabled family member was the root cause of the social workers behavior and that was actually her way of showing how she cares. It was very manipulative and twisted. They are terrible people. All the social workers I’ve dealt with (and I’ve dealt with ALOT because their turnover rate is astronomically high) are barely high functioning to not require a social worker themselves. Please be weary of this place. They are interested in being payee and loading patients up on meds, NOTHING ELSE.
Excellent service at reception, always very attentive and polite. The nurses are very professional, as is our family doctor, Walker Verdon. Thank you for your care and interest in your patients.
My neighbor has been having problems...I looked online, as she is a patient and saw they were still open for another hour and a half. Her only responsible family care taker member was out of state and myself and her… partner were at a loss. I called and the phone just kept ringing and ringing for a ridiculously long time. I ended up calling the police for a basic welfare check... they came because they actually cared. Not an actual life/death situation... we just needed a more trained evaluation than what we were. Thank YOU PCPD!
The DMD Team is a shame to cut your Medicaid
Went through 5 therapists over the course of 2 and a half years starting when I was pregnant with my baby and ended up just feeling gaslit at the end of it all. There are mostly interns and sometimes I would feel like… they helped, but I have never ever felt like they cared about what I had to say and what I went through.
I love seeing my therapist, and this clinic has many services available.
All the times
If I could give less stars I would. I have been assured by staff for MONTHS that I would have a regular therapist. It's been over 3 months since I talked to Mitchell Harris because he never returnedmy call after… discussingmy trauma and need for weekly visits. Mitchell assured me he would work vigilantly to find me a therapist and recommend me to call in for immediate care. Mitchell hasn't called me back once or taken any time to find me a Therapist which I SO desperately need. And the worst part about it? There's no one to talk to or get help from. The office is horribly ran and completely understaffed.
The therapists and receptionists are super kind and helpful! However, they have some IT issues that need some working out. The psychologist who diagnosed my kids was amazing! Definitely recommend him.
My therapists here are kind and competent. However, the procedure for getting a first time prescriber appointment is shocking and absurd. You have to start calling at 7:30 AM on the day you'd like to be seen, there's a… big chance your call will not even be answered, and then there's a big chance the appointments available that day (always few) will already be taken if your call is answered. I haven't been able to see a prescriber yet and am almost out of pills from the place I was before this one. I'm honestly very distressed I'll have to be a few weeks without pills before I can finally be seen by a prescriber. I hate being without pills because I go into withdrawal and my depressive symptoms when I'm not on pills are severe, like all I want to do is cry all day and I wish and pray for death every few minutes and I'm physically out of energy to do almost everything. I'm not even on the strongest kinds of pills, I can't imagine what other patients with more severe conditions than mine must deal with because of not being able to get the help they need on time. This is a really inefficient system and I'm praying and begging it will change.
Great for help with many different mental health issues. Intake can take a bit but once your in. Its smooth from there. They actually seem to care. Well I'd say 80% of people I've dealt with there do
Great service
I went from having suicidal thoughts, with debilitating mental illness which caused me not to be able to work - to starting school and smiling every day. My anxiety is 95% gone at least and I'm no longer depressed. I… wasn't making progress with my first therapist so I switched to a new one which was an easy process and I loved her! She was an intern so she's no longer working there but she was so good at helping me learn techniques that worked for me and helping me deal with current stresses. I no longer need a therapist. My prescriber Clint, is awesome! Very friendly and great to talk to. He helped me find the right medication which helps TREMENDOUSLY. I cannot thank you guys enough, you changed my life and turned it completely around! I'm actually looking forward to the future now!
I have been to counseling here as well as getting medications, I have always been treated with the utmost respect and the employees here have been happy to do what they can for me.
Wasatch engages in unlawful practices of sheer torture, including giving patients drugs who have documented adverse sensitivities ro certain drugs the very medicines that create unbearable side effects. They will stop… at nothing to ruin every aspect of your life and need to be put to a stop and allowed to realize the extent of agonizing suffering they willfully inflict.
