One of the best WDR in Pennsylvania. Great staff and the food delicious 😋
Unless you’re homeless don’t go here
I thought highly of this place until it became time for me to get my certificate of completion. That's when they began gaslighting me an trying to keep me longer. So I filed 12 grievances from everything to sexual… misconduct, barricading fire escapes,an movies glorifying drug use such as (due date) for example. Plus once I finally got assigned a counselor I requested one on one counseling for one hour each week. But I only got 8 minutes with her throughout my entire stay. They have only 3 employees who genuinely care about the well-being of others. The rest admit to working there for the drama claiming it to be entertainment. I photo copied all my grievances and I am taking them to my probation officer. An I'm half tempted to go back just to personally read these grievances to the person who collects them. That's how peeved off I am.
This place is a joke... do not send ur people there... other guy in here is absolutely spot on about Ryan... and watch out for Jocelyn and carlos... Tommy is cool counselor and carmine cool nurse... Peyton and some… other techs were aight... but everything is a problem here no one ever has time cuz their too busy making sure the beds r filled and the Flo of medicaid $$ is steady... sad but true... medicaid is prob even in on it... I'd give negative 100 stars but 1 was lowest I could rate it
Very uneducated staff don’t care about the patients bad food unhealthy living conditions worst place I’ve been please go anywhere but here
My husband went there nurses, staff and counselor dealing with kept me informed and updated with everything. I appreciated everything that they did for him there. The staff was very kind, patient with him.
One of the most caring staff. These are just a few pics of the gardening the residents did
My son was there and said it's a really good program, unfortunately he didn't stay and left.ive been trying to get his wallet, money, and clothing and its really become a hassle. People keep transferring me to other… people and all I need to know was what time to come
I was just there got seven days,I you use fentanyl do not go here to methadone detox. Subutex put me into protacted withdrawal the first four doses
It was an alright experience the staff are as helpful as they can be I guess. You can get comfort meds twice a day as far activities go they don't much for you to do outside of smoking or they have a basketball net or… the cornhole. The air quality is terrible in the building ventilation is not available in the bedrooms that shared between 4 grown men to each room. And the food isn't all that but I guess it's the best they can do feeding about 30 men 3 meals a day they also provide snacks and coffee which is available at any point in time during the day. The staff is great and very experienced with assisting with your recovery I learned a lot about myself in my short stint here, I decided to ama after 5 days, this place isn't for everyone but can be very helpful in your recovery and accepts Medicaid, they will make it difficult if you decide you want to leave and will try and keep your things you came with for 48hours which most if not all facilities do, but it's very wrong and illegal. Overall this place provides a pretty good experience with the budget they have your not going to find too many places that provide this caliber of treatment.
They offer snacks all day, which is the best part about this place. One staff member is the most condescending human being I’ve ever met. They violate several of their own policies set forth in writing. If you AMA they… try to keep your belongings for 24-48 hours. I was administratively discharged in retribution for filing a grievance. Anything is better than risking and ruining your life with drugs, but there are better places to get clean and sober.
I was at this facility end of May 2018 after my 3rd DUI. Horrible time of my life and this place is where I needed to be at that time. The negatives were the food being transported there and being warmed up and only… going to the YMCA 1 time in 3 weeks. However, the counselor Sara took us to the park as much as she could and that really helped. My counselor Tony had a difficult personality to deal with and I think he was burned out so I have an undecided/neutral opinion on his help. If they get people exercising more and smoking less than yes this is a good rehab. The techs and nurses were awesome. And they make sure to get you to outside meetings alot.
the worst program the counselors manipulate the patients to be able to continue taking money from the medical insurance and the workers are disrespectful 🤮 and they lie to the patients and do not give them the letters… that the family sends
I had a terrible experience there. Do not go there.
Your counselor Tess lied to mR
I learned who I was and the staff there are awesome they really care about our recovery!!! Love you guys
This place saved my life!
Great experience, learned a lot. Great staff. Thank you for your care and guidance.
White Deer Run Lancaster is a 27 bed facility working with males only. The best part about this place is it's size. Many people with the disease of addiction need individual attention which can be very hard to get at a… larger facility. This facility really emphasizes the importance of community and allowing the clients to share what they are really struggling with promoting true healing. They are given on average 8 groups daily, weekly individual sessions, and family sessions if requested or recommended. There are a lot of great groups ran here that focus on mental health, CBT, and DBT principles. There is also a lot of fun here, including monthly hikes in the nicer months, trips to park, YMCA, gardening groups, Music Therapy, Art Therapy and so many more powerful groups. Our Alumni rocks and frequently holds events throughout the year which shows this program works if you work it! If you really want to change, be held accountable, and treat your addiction you've come to the right place.
i was there from 06/03/2019-07/01/2019 (28) days and it was the BEST 28 days in a rehab, i am soo unbelievably greatful for finding this place and experiencing it. i have never been to a place that truly cares the techs… nurses and counselors are absolutely AMAZING all of them take time out of their day to help anyone my counselor tess helped me threw so much i let go of so much and learned how to forgive myself which is huge. thank you lancaster white deer for helping me god bless
