Rehabs That Take Arizona Care Network (ACN)

Arizona Care Network is a health care network in Arizona named by treatment centers there. Coverage for drug and alcohol treatment depends on the plan behind it, network and level of care.Arizona programs listed here name Arizona Care Network on their own websites. A network of this kind usually connects doctors and hospitals rather than acting as an insurer, so the health plan on your member ID card decides what is covered. Before admission, call that plan to check behavioral health benefits and ask whether prior authorization or a referral is needed. Then ask the facility whether it is in network.

Why Trust RehabSeekers.com?

RehabSeekers is an independent behavioral health directory covering drug and alcohol addiction and mental health treatment providers.

Every listing has a source: an official register, a licensing record, or details the facility sent us.

Credentials shown honestly. Accreditation, licensing and registration listed separately.

Reviews shown exactly as written. Never edited, never removed because a facility asked.

No commission, no referral fees. Nothing a facility pays for changes where it appears.

Contact details always go direct. Calls reach the facility itself, never a call centre.

Common questions

Answered from what is listed here.

Is Arizona Care Network an insurance company?

No. Arizona Care Network is an accountable care organization, a physician-led group of about 5,500 doctors in greater Phoenix that coordinates care. It does not sell policies or pay claims. The health plan on your member ID card, such as Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Mercy Care or Medicare, decides coverage.

You may already be a network member based on the primary care provider you see or on your benefits; there is no separate enrollment and no premium.

Private Insurance Acceptedhttps://rehabseekers.com/insurance-accepted/private-insurance-accepted/
Does Arizona Care Network cover rehab?

No, not on its own. Arizona Care Network is a provider network rather than a plan, so rehab coverage comes from the insurer on your card. That insurer sets the benefit, the copays and the rules for detox, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient care.

Treatment programs in metro Phoenix commonly bill plans such as Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Mercy Care and Medicare Advantage, so call the member number on your card before admission.

Inpatient Rehabhttps://rehabseekers.com/programs/inpatient/
Does Arizona Care Network cover drug and alcohol detox?

Yes, when the health plan using the network covers it. Arizona Care Network defines no detox benefit of its own. For members on Mercy Care, the AHCCCS Complete Care Regional Behavioral Health Agreement plan addresses general mental health and substance use services.

Employer, commercial and Medicare Advantage plans each set their own detox rules, so check authorization requirements with the insurer before you or a loved one is admitted.

Arizona Care Network is a physician-led accountable care organization in greater Phoenix, not an insurance company. It does not sell coverage, write benefits or pay claims. It is the provider network and care coordination layer sitting behind plans issued by other carriers, so the health plan printed on the member ID card decides what drug and alcohol treatment is covered and what it costs.

ACN was established in 2012 by Dignity Health and is now a joint venture owned with Abrazo Health, part of Tenet Healthcare. It runs from 4222 E. Thomas Road, Suite 460, Phoenix, with roughly 5,500 doctors across about 1,800 care locations in Maricopa and Pima counties, and coordinates care for more than 400,000 patients. Someone may already be an ACN patient simply because of the primary care provider they see or the plan they hold; there is no separate enrollment and no premium.
