Who Reviews a Behavioral Health Admission?

Start with the Care Coordinator number on the ID card and ask the direct question: does this plan route behavioral health precertification to Quantum or to the carrier. Quantum has not published a company-wide behavioral health precertification list, and no medical necessity criteria set is named on its pages, so the criteria applied are the reviewing organization’s.

Ask before admission. Which organization reviews this level of care; what the plan requires for an emergency admission already under way; how continued stay is reviewed; and what the appeal route is if a day count is cut short. An admissions team can file most of this, but the answers belong to the plan, not the program.

How Much Does Rehab Cost With Quantum Health Solutions?

The navigation service itself adds nothing: for the Board of Pensions plan, adding the benefit cost employees and employers nothing and changed neither the medical nor the prescription drug benefit. Is Quantum Health Solutions the Same as Quantum Health, Embold or CirrusMD?

No separate company trading as Quantum Health Solutions was found; the name as treatment programs use it points to Quantum Health, Inc. Embold Health, the Nashville provider-quality analytics firm behind Embold Guide and the Embold Edge plan, became a subsidiary on June 17, 2025 and still operates as a separate entity. Virtual care company CirrusMD was acquired in 2026 and keeps its name.

Quantum is not a Blue Cross Blue Shield licensee, has no Medicaid plan and is not a Medicare Advantage sponsor, although it launched a navigation service sold to Medicare Advantage plans in March 2024.
