Catholic Charities Community Services Photos and Images

Pictures of Catholic Charities Community Services show a site in Phoenix. What is visible is a working clinical setting rather than a residential one, with rooms for individual and group sessions.

Phoenix sits in the wide Sonoran Desert basin, where flat streets open onto views of the surrounding mountain ranges, which frames the outlook from the site. The immediate area, Central Phoenix, is the established central corridor along Central Avenue, lined with mid-century apartment blocks and offices. For anyone attending several times a week, the look and feel of a place matters alongside the clinical detail.

Attempted to rent from the Mesquite Terrace next door and was given the runaround for 6 months, after paying the application fee and turning in the required documents, I was completely blown off and ignored, no… communication or attempt to contact me and when I called was repeatedly told that my application was completed and given to the auditors and would get a response in a few days. Never received an answer and after a month of waiting returned to the office to be told that I had not turned in the required documents, complete bs as I had turned in everything not once but twice and had double checked with the staff before leaving. I was told everything was turned in to the auditors on multiple occasions just to find out months later that it had never even been turned in at all. And even with all my contact information, email, phone, etc was never notified that more information was needed. They took my application fee and did absolutely nothing to further the process but tell us lies and lead us on without resolution. I was in a rough situation and came here expecting help and was not given even a lil bit of consideration, it would have been better had I just received a denial but didn't even receive that, very discouraging. For this to be low income housing they need to train their office people to be considerate of people's circumstances and handle things much more professionally with a bit more understanding. Hopefully this is not how they treat everyone, but they surely disappointed my family. ND 6 months later they still had no answer other than to tell us we needed to redo the entire application process, bc too much time had gone by, very upsetting

It's disrespectful when you're explaining something someone doesn't understand and they treat you rudely... and they meddle in things that don't concern them... it's unbelievable how a company like that exists in the USA

No stars. I went today. I was looking for help and wanted to get an appointment with a lawyer, and the receptionist told me he wasn't taking appointments for new asylum applications because 99% of them weren't being… approved, especially not for people with my nationality. She was incredibly rude and gave me a list of other private lawyers.

The front office is not very helpful. Very disappointing with the service received by the front office. They should guide us better. After being told the papers I needed were not it. Went back home brought back more… papers. Saw the lawyer and the papers being asked by the front office were not even what they needed. They needed a totally different letter. Waisted my entire day and was not able to get what I needed done. I need to come back another day. Please re train your front office staff.

I went to fill out an application for the apartments being built right next to there building. It was extremely helpful and close nearby the apartments. If you're looking for low income housing coming up in December… than go apply and get pre approved to move in when the apartments are ready.

Many years ago Sister Theresa McIntyre of Catholic Social Services helped me immensely when I was trying to cope with my Mom’s untimely death. Without Sister Theresa, I don’t think I’d be here today. She was an… excellent grief counselor and she’s very compassionate and good at helping others in coping with their grief. I have only good things to say about Catholic Social Services and Sister Theresa.🙏🏻

The worst, was lied to repeatedly by them and was told Birth certificate was in the mail. They never ordered it. So I called records in NY and was told the truth! Said it was held up by covid-19. Another lie!! Needed to… get home when I lost my ID.
