My sons are part of the FSP program through all for kids. We've been receiving services for over a year. In that time there has ALWAYS been an issue with communication. The therapist seem to have a hard time keeping up… with their case loads and therefore lack consistent communication with the parent and have difficulty scheduling weekly sessions as is required through the FSP guidelines. Most supervisors are the terrible to deal with. There is no follow up. When issues arise within the teams I am directed to the supervisors but I feel like I have to hunt them down. I'll call, leave voicemails, sent text messages and I'll get no response. Whenever an issue emerges I find myself constantly working my way up the food chain until I finally get a hold of somebody. Luckily for my children and I, I am Persistent. I feel bad just thinking about the other families that also get the run around and just settle because it's easier. I'd recommend taking a good look at other options. I gave them 3 starts because there are a handful of people that really have made a difference for us and I don't want Norma, Monica, and Eliaz' efforts to go unmentioned. If you happen to team up with any of these three people. Consider yourself lucky!
