The doctors don’t care about you and good luck getting your meds when you need them. These people truly could not care less about you. Go anywhere else
👎
Don't miss your appointment bc they don't give AF if u relapse......
I've been to this facility myself..... and now a very very special person in my life has taken a step all on his own to go here and he has been only welcomed with open arms, support, kindness, and compassion. You make… it what you want it to be as well. I give it 5 stars for them just having open doors to the suffering, and training everyone like a human being.
The lady that answers the phone at the inpatient part, is extremely rude!
Five stars and beyond top notch recovery counselors and nurses teach what you need to know not only in recovery but in life the place that pushed me in the right direction got me sober and still til this day clean 💪the… counselors are top notch and really care about you you'll have a team routing coaching u in your corner not only in sobriety but in life 🔥🔥
I went for detox I was the only woman in.. and all the guys that was their must have been court ordered because all they wanted to talk about was getting out and getting high.. they gave me so much meds that my blood… pressure was so low they almost had to send me to the ER I stayed 3 days got on the phone called my mom and said come get me it was better to be at home by my self... DONT GO HERE
I called to get my meds refilled literally 5 times over the course of a month. Meds for depression and alcoholism and every time they said someone would get in touch with me and NOONE ever has. I literally BEGGED for… help and noone cared. Waited for a month for the appt with the med doc and he didn't show up! Do they not care that for many people this can be life or death??
My doctor called to see if I could be admitted to New Directions and to talk w sombody about the details. I was in the office and she put it on speakerphone for me to hear. Someone named Nina answered the phone and she… was the rudest person ever! She was disrespectful to my doctor and all we wanted to know was if I could qualify to go there. Though there. Money is not the issue because I have a large trust fund but she did not want to listen and was hateful. I would suggest nobody go there. I guess that's why they have only 2 stars
Community Specialist Sarah is the worst person ever. Lazy and acts like she doesn't have to work.
It,was horrible, bad food, dirty and not accessible for handicapped, no crafts or good reading material. Treated like a prisoner as a volunteer with nothing illegal pending or charged with a crime. Sad for uplifting… support.
I just recently started going to New directions and let me tell you they are very wonderful people! They are slowly but surely changing my life in great ways. Tiffany always makes me feel better about myself and… Marquette at the front is so nice and helpful also. Can't say enough good things about this program.
Turned down for treatment since no Missouri DL. He went there for help due to being an alcoholic and suicidal and he was turned down.
I have been going to this place for over 15 years. Battling PTSD, ADHD, and chronic depression. This place has changed so much and has such an internal turnover that they really do not care about you anymore. If you are… being asked to change your meds with no explanation. You are not alone. These types of changes do not make sense especially after you finally have something that's really working. Just know that there are other options out there besides Ozark center. Seriously Please find other options besides this facility because you are no longer safe because they really do not care about your mental health. They used to be a trauma-informed company and I can honestly tell you they have lost their values and now have unethical practices!
Absolutely not out to help people. Call to ask questions and get transferred between different departments and people who sound annoyed and don't have answers on basic process questions, got billed $250 (after… insurance!!!) for an unhelpful video call with a sample pill pushing psychiatrist, not a single attempt was made to treat mental health outside of instant medication... that's their answer?! Pills as a solution within the first hour of talking to a new patient should let you know who they're actually working for... I was offered these samples by someone that I talked to for less than an hour and was never successfully connected with a psychologist for regular therapy appointments, and received two bills in the mail that I now am unable to contest due to an ineffective process and incompetent staff. Never going here for any kind of "help" again.
This place is a joke. We had a very unpleasant experience with these people. I will be filing a formal complaint against them with the board. My wife went there just to talk with someone about her anxiety and wound up… at the Stevens unit. She was forced to go there and was not and is not suicidal. Know wonder people don’t try to get help. The counselors name was Tiffany and was very standoffish with us. An affidavit was filed after the fact saying that my wife said she would do harm to herself or others. Which was and is a blatant lie. That woman did nothing but make things worse for my wife. She has lost all trust in counselors and psychiatrist. We will be pursuing a lawsuit against them.
My best friend was discharged one week ago from this inpatient facility, after bouncing from one psychiatric hospital to another for almost a month. She's now been sitting, mostly catatonic, in her mother's home ever… since. Her friends, family, we're all at a complete loss as to what to do. She's incredibly sick. How she was even discharged is beyond me. Maybe due to lack of health insurance?? I want to please warn people to avoid this facility at all costs, if you are experiencing severe mental health problems, and are uninsured or underinsured. Or, maybe it's just a bad facility. Regardless, there's more help out there, with more sense than to send your sick loved one out the door with a new script and a "good luck".
I went to detox and rehab here. It was a wonderful experience. The staff is AMAZING an the counselors really know their stuff. I highly recommend it if your sick an tired of being sick an tired.
