Vesta Inc – Silver Spring Detox and Rehab Services
The register shows Vesta Inc – Silver Spring providing intensive outpatient and outpatient care. Sessions follow a set timetable while people keep living at home. A proper assessment sets the level rather than leaving it to guesswork, and it is worth asking for one explicitly.
The listing records a single focus rather than combined treatment, so anyone needing both should confirm what is available. Medication and talking treatment run together under clinical oversight. Vesta Inc – Silver Spring Address, Location and Contact Information
8737 Colesville Road, Silver Spring, Maryland, 20910 is the address held. This address falls in Montgomery County. The site also serves the surrounding area, and anyone traveling in should confirm the route before setting out. Public transport, parking and the length of the journey all affect whether someone completes a course of treatment, and they are worth settling before the first appointment rather than after.
A quick call before you go will settle directions, parking and what to expect first time. Where travel is difficult, ask whether an initial appointment can be held remotely. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

1. ⭐️⭐️ - It is difficult getting services in the beginning due to poor administration (answering calls, scheduling and reaching back out to clients). 2. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Once you become a client, there are some great… therapist and providers here. They work around your schedule and try their best to support you. 3. ⭐️ - I had a very disappointing experience during a Diagnostic Evaluation / Medication Management appointment with Ms. Kamoya. During the appointment, she asked if there was anything else I wanted to share. I explained how my mental health conditions have been affecting my everyday life. Instead of acknowledging it or documenting it, she told me I could talk about that in therapy. I asked if she could document what I was saying in my notes for my therapist because I may forget to bring it up at my next appointment. She asked who my therapist was, then stated that she did not know my therapist, that my therapist does not look at her notes, and that I needed to write it down myself and tell my therapist directly. I then asked if someone else could document it for me. She said there was no one else there to do that while yawning during our conversation. She mentioned the person at the front desk. When I asked if she could get a supervisor, she said the supervisor may be in a meeting. That is when I walked out to request a supervisor myself. This was my second time meeting Ms. Kamoya. The first time was through a virtual appointment for a medication refill, and I was not pleased with her service then either. I then went back to a different agency for medication. My therapist wanted me to receive full care at Vesta, so I tried again and met with another medication provider, Ms. Mo, who was amazing. She allowed me to explain what I was dealing with, listened to me, and helped me get the medication I needed to feel better. I wanted to see Ms. Mo again, but Vesta required me to come into the office, and because of availability and location, I ended up scheduled with Ms. Kamoya again. This experience made me feel like I was wasting my breath disclosing my true struggles. I felt invalidated, unsupported, and like my mental health was not being cared for. I also felt like she was rushing to get back to the call she had during our meeting. I do not feel that Ms. Kamoya is a safe provider for me to speak with. If I were having darker or more vulnerable feelings, I would not feel comfortable sharing them with her. In my experience, she did not show empathy, active listening, or the kind of care needed for people going through mental health challenges. Before leaving the office, I met with the supervisor who carefully listened to my concerns. She advised that she would follow up with Ms. Kamoya and my therapist. I truly appreciate how the supervisor listed to me and could understand my frustration. Thank you.
No friendly welcome from the front desk staff, no smile or anything to say hello 👋 or good afternoon, even when they finish the job, they ignored we waited at the office seating. You have to welcome and feel a good… environment. Also disappointed when you asking questions and concerns and they just said " I am talking" . Therapist is great 👍, not question about it.
My Therapist has helped me gain perspective on several key aspects of my circumstances and daily struggles. It is very helpful to me in very real everyday ways. Grateful 🙏🏼💖
Vesta Inc is one of the best things to happen to me. The team I've had over the last year plus has been surreal. Ms. Jesus makes sure I can get in with my med management team (Mo or others) or if any other admin… situations occur. Beyond grateful for her. Sean as my Client Services partner has been a lifesaver on so many levels. As professional as we keep it, that's the homie and definitely a rock in my corner. My therapist, Allison, is so great that even virtual meetings make it feel like we are in the same room. I really can't say how blessed and fortunate I am for my support team. They deserve a raise, multiple accolades, and advance entrance into heaven. I wouldn't be here still fighting to figure things out if it wasn't for them.
I had a therapist at this office who suddenly told me his schedule was changing and he couldn't continue seeing me. Supposedly, he had spoken with someone else to see me, but that never happened. It's hard to believe… the therapists here always abandon their patients; this place is known for doing that kind of thing. It already happened to me with my two daughters, and now it's happening to me.
I had a very disappointing experience when I called. The woman who answered the phone, who had a thick accent, was extremely rude and hung up on me while I was asking questions. This kind of unprofessional and… disrespectful behavior is unacceptable. I hope management addresses this issue and improves their customer service.
Most of the therapists I've met are very nice other than a few. I struggle with the psychiatrists though as they tend to be pretty monotone and just don't seem to care about me as a person, so I feel uncomfortable… trying to talk with them to get proper meds. The receptionists are really lacking though.. I would schedule an appointment just for it to be scheduled for a different day instead and I don't know until day of and there's nothing I can do but try and make another appointment, delaying my time to be seen. I've also gotten mixed up with other patients in scheduling which is frustrating. They also just straight up hung up on me when I was trying to call them back after getting a call about rescheduling me.. it just feels very unprofessional.
I was referred here by my primary care provider. Unfortunately I never got to actually schedule an appointment because the receptionists were very rude and disrespectful over the phone. On October 10, 2022 I was hung up… on in the middle of the conversation. I’ve been reaching out to them for the last couple of months with no luck.
Only positive thing were the friendly front desk staff, once I went back to meet for an intake for my child the therapist was unprofessional, uncaring, poor communication. I can go on and on. I spoke to the director I… hope a new person doesn't have the experience as I did. I am gling some place else where rge mental health will ne taken seriously and gave better staff than this place.
Its very hot in the building and Ms Andrea called 911 when my fiance and I had an argument then I was taken to med Star where they held me in isolation and force fed me and sent me a bill for twelve thousand dollars.… And the psychiatrist there is really rigid. The staff isn't good and they watch you all the time and make you read magazines and color. I am not a child and the experience was traumatic for me I'm still in shock and now have a deep fear of hospitals. Ms lamm very kind to me at Vesta and Ms Andrea apologize but I still can't forget the twelve thousand dollars bill and the screaming from the medstar

Good!!
I have to agree with the other reviews here. Some of the staff are great, but those working the front desk are incompetent to put it nicely. The last time my meds were changed, I wasn't able to get them on time because… the receptionist apparently doesn't know how a fax machine works. Literally all she had to do was fax a form to my pharmacy, and she just never did it despite several calls from my pharmacy asking her to take care of it. I ended up terribly sick as a result and almost needed to go to the ER. Avoid this place like the plague!!!!
I usually don’t leave comments on these things but this has to be the worst mental health clinic ever. They never answer the phones (but have the nerves to call to let you know you missed an appt and that if it happens… again you’re kicked out? How about you guys answer your phones so I can let you know that I wont be able to make it) they have incompetent people working the front it’s just so unorganized. Find someplace else that actually cares.
I have been coming to this office for years. The staff are friendly, pleasant, professional, and very helpful but for the past six years that I have been using this clinic, the front desk have answered my calls maybe… twice. Im not jocking! And don't bother leaving messages because you will never get a call back. Also, the entrance door have an intercom but it's been broken for months and Vesta received many complaints about it but to date it is still not fixed so if you have an appointment, you can only guess who would be on the inside of the building to let you in, otherwise you are late to your appointment and you might be seen or you might be rescheduled... It is frustrating!
