UConnectCare Inc – Batavia

I was not a patient here, but I did come inside the facility once. One of the receptionists who sits on the right hand side dresses unprofessionally and speaks in a dull and judgmental tone. It feels as though they are… mocking you behind the glass which is the last thing you want to think when you come inside a place like this. Care about people more.

No matter where you end up in recovery, any rehab you join can ultimately work for you if you make it work for you. With this being said, I'm not here to tell you if it's bad or good rehab...I've had both experiences… here. But one thing is for certain, this place was an integral part of my success in my own recovery. I owe them that at least. I do want to highlight one thing, more than anything, this was amazing for me and I know it can be for you. Some of the staff and security were amazing. Dustin the security guy was there for me literally since day one. There has been times where past counselors and medical staff have been very useless on what needed to be done, and no matter the situation was I always felt better thanks to Dustin. He took the time to tell me hello and ask how I'm doing or even just passing along shouts of encouragement. And that has been all I needed after such times where maybe the place couldn't help me. But he did. Tom as well. And if you don't think that's such a big deal, they are both a huge part of what is and will be keeping me on the right path. It was a blessing I can take with me forever.

Maybe 15 percent of employees should be working in recovery they always mumble stuff about how bad addicts are and make me feel like scum if you go against or make them do something they dont want they attack you the… dosing girls have a god complex and the security guard is an ex addict who's trying so hard to be apart of the cool crew and will ruin your life if you depend on mat been here over a year never failed or had any problems until after they lied and attacked my wife and I'm sure there will be retaliation for this as well but I'm gonna find the federal way to file complaints maybe enact foias on every employee and see what every one has in there closests and see how they like it.

When you have gotten to the point where your tired of chasing, having anxiety all the time, waiting for your guy who is “just pulling in”, withdrawals and losing everything and anything that is precious to you.. THIS IS… THE PLACE TO GO! The most empathetic, nonjudgmental, caring group of people ever! From the secretary, security, counselors, Dr Barb, Shannon Murphy the list goes on and on. Do you want your life back? Your kids back? Please, you won’t be turned away and you won’t be sorry. They saved my life! Thank you OTP CLINIC you will forever be part of my life story.

Saved my life 3 years ago when I started going. Always feel at home and not like a junkie!!

That place is an absolute joke. They will treat you like an absolute child the charger insurance company $300 a day but give you pretty much bottom of the barrel of food they don't consider special diets for diabetics

I've NEVER been treated better. Every employee has a smile on their face when I'm there (and I go daily). It feels good to be treated like a person and respected as a client. I switched my clinic to here and it helped… my recovery process significantly. My advice is if you can change clinics, then switch (run) to UConnect clinic in Batavia.

Best Detox/Stabilization Facility in New York!!! I Personally Give Thanks to EVERYONE (Aside from one counselor), including the Nurses, Tech's, and My Counselor. You Ladies have A lot of Patience and give the Best… Advice/Support I've ever Had. Again, my Sincerest Gratitude E V E R Y O N E☺️😊. I will be checking in on everyone, Every once and awhile. I love GCASA very safe atmosphere and great staff!!!

This place is set up to be solely a paper trail to prove to the court and probation system that the person in need is getting "counseling". But in reality, all it is is an insurance grab. The patient gets 5 minutes of… "counseling" at each visit, but yet they charge the insurance carrier for a full session if counseling. When talking to staff about concerns, they have no therapeutic communication skills and aren't willing to take your concerns seriously. Staff is rude and defensive when approaching concerns about the therapy you are receiving. If you can afford to go elsewhere to get real help with substance and alcohol abuse, I would highly recommend getting it at a place that truly wants to help. You won't find it here.

Thia place is simply amazing and has changed my life! I have been battling addiction for many years now and nothing that I have tried has worked except for GCASA and the methadone clinic. The staff is very caring and… will help you walk down the path to recovery. They are simply life savers here. If you truly want to get sober this is the place to do it. I have been clean a year November 29th and I'm telling you everyother place I have went to and all the other meds I have tried did not work and I didn't last but a couple months and I was back out there but not this time. I am so happy these days to be sober and it is all because of GCASA and the staff there. Thank you GCASA ans staff I owe you my life!

The staff from the front door to the back door are very caring and personable

The clinic in the back has been nothing short of a life changer. If you are ready to change and make the changes needed then this place has all the support you could need. Medical staff is up to date on addiction… treatment and they don’t shove the AA/NA down your throat. I am a great father/son/brother/husband because of the support I’ve gotten from this place from the last 8 years. Majority of those years I walked down the wrong path, but in the last two since daughter was born everything has fallen into place. If you do what you are supposed to do you will do amazing here. If you don’t do what your supposed to they will hold you accountable. This place has been a godsend for people of this area who had no other options and hope it only grows from here.

The GCASA Methadone Clinic has saved my life! The counselors, to me anyways, seem to actually care. Plus most, if not all have battled addiction and overcame it. Therefore their knowledge came from more than just… textbooks! Which many addicts I'm sure would agree that that is very important because they can actually relate and they have been where we are now so they know a thing or two about beating an addiction! Kudos GCASA methadone clinic and their workers!!!

GCASA is an amazing place to go when you need to seek help the people there are friendly and actually care about you as a person and will help you if they can! I am thankful for this place they've helped me and still… are and my god is that place so clean SO THANK YOU. GCASA

Been here back in 2013 to 2014 and succeeded before. Cant wait to be working with them again. Better than u horizon thats for sure

My significant other waits weeks to get an appointment.. Today they cancel her as there was Some girl was having a crisis and It was doctor day( people get their free(government funded) pills for the weekend so they can… survive.. I give a 3 star because when I called and got little from the office clerk and asked to speak to a manager, she complied and the manager listened to my concerns.. Another appointment scheduled a week from today.. I own a contracting company that strives on individual attention to my clients.. that's what I would expect from a health care provider

Decent place to get sober. Staff on the other is rude, arrogant,and obtuse. They create unnecessary stress that recovering addicts don't need, and god forbid you have a personality. They have a cookie cutter philosophy… on how ever client should act, and if you don't fallow this image they threaten to kick you out. Instead of communicating the problem, they are quick to say "just leave, there is the door." Very UNPROFESSIONAL.... Staff has large egos, well you are the queens of nothing. You work at a half way house...... whoop de do.....
