It’s a nice facility

Hands down it was the best 820 program I have ever been to, and unfortunately I've been to quite a few, living quarters are spotless building is kept up if something breaks or something needs to get down its down.. They… have the top of the line smart televisions it's a 70 inch touch screen computer thar also is a touch screen TV, and they have a couple of them the computer room has a computer for everyone never a wait and up to date equipment, Joey the director is a awesome guy he's not there to try and jam you up he there's to save your life also very laid back and the rest of the staff is great even the driver and interns you just get the feeling that they care.... awesome medical staff and the gym is better then a collage gun pickle ball twice a day baseball ,volleyball, Olympics bbqs,and once a week if you don't get any ribs there called the go to ice cream or movies or fast food or museum. Or the falls.... And they don't program you to death only a couple groups a day abs the rest of the day you can get your phone watch a movie just get your head right... I left there 15 months ago and I'm still clean I haven't had 14 months clean sense I was born.... so thank you to everyone that works at freedom village I had a good interaction with everyone, and I really miss the staff, and a addict like me would never in a million years say that but thank you freedom

My son did the best of his life while he was at freedom and I tried very hard to get his counselor Joe to understand that a sober living in Niagara Falls was not going to be a place for him. No one listen and now he's a… loss fighting to survive in a sober living where he can get more drugs and alcohol than any other place.

I spent a year at Freedom Village. Everyone is nice. I do take issue with their counseling services. If you are on campus you meet with your counselor twice a week. They try to break down traumatic events in your life… to help build you back up. I expressed to them that I didn't trust counselors, they are human, it's far too easy for them to turn their back on you. They constantly assured me that would not happen. Until it did happen. I was with the same counselor for three years. I trusted her. One day she just left, no call, no referral to another counselor. Just gone. It was a horrible experience even though not shocking. Unfortunately these people are only in it for the money. God knows how much blood is on their hands for operating like that.
