Scioto Paint Valley Mental Health Ctr – Waverly Address, Location and Contact Information
You will find this provider at 102 Dawn Lane, Waverly, Ohio, 45690. This address falls in Pike County. The site also serves the surrounding area, and anyone traveling in should confirm the route before setting out. Public transport, parking and the length of the journey all affect whether someone completes a course of treatment, and they are worth settling before the first appointment rather than after.
It is worth calling first to confirm access, parking and the shape of a first visit. Remote appointments may be possible where travel is a barrier. Reception hours vary, so a call that goes unanswered once is worth repeating rather than treating as a dead end.

Negligent and unprofessional. We had our intake with Jessica Bowles then our next appointment with her was double booked and rushed through. The appointment after that, scheduled on 4/1, we arrived and were told the… appointment was canceled and they had called to tell me—they hadn’t—and said someone would call me on Monday to reschedule—they didn’t. I waited until Friday then started calling. I left 3 voicemails between 4/10 and 4/22 before finally speaking to someone when I called on 4/23. I was told they were going to talk to the clinic director about scheduling me with someone “more reliable” and would call me back the following day—they didn’t. I called again on 4/27 and finally got another appointment scheduled for my daughter the following day, today 4/28. Which meant my daughter was not seen for over a month after Jessica said during our intake “I think she definitely needs to be seen weekly, at least at first” 😐 When we were leaving our appointment Jessica was sitting at the front desk and did not acknowledge my daughter or I and my daughter asked me in the car why Jessica was mad at her and didn’t want to see her anymore. Luckily my daughter has a family who is willing to be persistent and advocate for her to get her the help she needs, but working with children I know there are so many others who do not and the options for mental health therapy are very limited in our area. I was really unimpressed with how this situation has been handled by Jessica and the agency as a whole and I hope bringing light to it brings about change because the kids in this community deserve a lot better than what mine experienced.
Counselling services are good but you can never get the doctor or nurse to give a call back. My prescription is messed up and my insurance won't cover it... Tried texting the doctor and calling the office 2-3 weeks ago… and again the other day and nobody cares enough to at least call back. I already have panic issues and being out of meds or going through withdrawals was a HUGE fear of mine (and they knew this) before I even started on meds. Now I wish I hadn't started them. Disappointing when I finally got the courage to even seek help.
I've been here several years and I've been treated with upmost respect .. treatment helps you just got to want it
It used to be a very good place and treated mental patients very good and still do but the nurse practitioners are horrible now you know u have a bad mental doc if 1 you're constantly on the defense then speaking about… your problems 2 you have to prove your condition every visit 3 if ur psych talks more than the patients 4 if they no other view than there's 5 don't look at the patients and is constantly on the phone or computer while ur in ur visit 6 if they have some illusions of Granger and can fix 2 decades of mental ,physical sexual trauma from a youth to adult in 4 counseling sessions that over 12 dozen Master psychologist and over a decade of medication could not
