In 2023, my son started using 7-hydroxymitragynine (a 7-OH/Kratom derivative), legally sold in smoke shops, to stay alert and ward off sleepiness while working long hours behind the wheel. He was completely unaware of… the addictive effects of these substances. The moment he realized he was addicted, he sought help at the Symetria clinic. However, when the clinic staff realized my son's language barrier (he didn't speak English), they took advantage of the situation and started him on high-dose Methadone treatment immediately, so that he would come to the clinic every day and they could collect regular payments. When we first went to the clinic, they told us that Methadone treatment was only a 1-2 week process and that he could easily stop on his own afterward. My son was very happy to hear this and agreed. However, after 2 weeks, things got worse. When we asked about it because my son's health was deteriorating, the same woman who initially told us "you'll quit in 2 weeks" said, "No, you can't quit in 2 weeks; it will take more than a year, years, to quit." Starting Methadone for Kratom addiction is, to put it bluntly, like dropping an atomic bomb to kill a fly. Since starting Methadone treatment, my son's health has completely deteriorated. All his teeth have decayed, he can no longer work, and he has lost his mental focus. My son has wasted away before our eyes day by day. Despite the life-threatening risks, he managed to reduce his Methadone dose from 80 mg to 30 mg in 8 months using his own willpower. Now he is looking for a reliable center where he can receive inpatient treatment to completely overcome the Methadone addiction caused by this clinic. This facility operates purely for profit. When my son's condition worsened due to the heavy medication they were using, they kept him in the clinic for a few hours, then frantically chased after us, making us sign papers to avoid taking responsibility, and then referred us to a state hospital. Absolutely do not entrust your loved ones to this place. They have no intention of healing; their only goal is to get money from insurance or your own pocket. This review is for the symmetry of recovery in spring, Texas.My goodness, what a wonderful place.If it wasn't for the counselors like regina and rachel joanna , and shanita but especially Regina i dont think I would be… alive. These people have saved my life time and time again. Even when im crazy 🤪 they have always shown me so much love ❤️ and support the nurses are so caring 💗 even john is ok lol 😆 but Mrs Tina is the glue that keeps symetria together. She has thought me so much she is a amazing smart and classy woman. Her and Regina have changed my life. I started coming here last week and I can’t believe how nice the staff is. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The ladies at the reception area are super nice and outgoing and the director is awesome as well.… They made a way for me to get to the facility to get my medication when I didn’t have transportation. I’m so glad that I found this wonderful clinic and I am very happy that they will be my new clinic.

Whoever handles insurance claims and verification needs to step it up. How hard is it to call a verify insurance for someone???? Get it together! 👎

I love Ms.Charlas office. The ambiance of her room lighting and the set up is very calming to a patient with a lot of anxiety issues.

From the first phone call and the staff, especially Ms. Charla Zendejas, who treated me with so much respect and… zero judgment! Charla automatically made me feel safe and supported. Not the place for working professionals! They are highly understaffed! Over a years time I lost about 30 clients trying to maneuver time around as well as trying different times of dosing! DOES NOT WORK! If you have… nothing to do they are great, with time, they are HORRIBLE

Waiting for like an hour, tried to explain to them that we have to go to other very important appointment. They said they would get it as soon as possible. However, the guy came after was called and we weren't. That is… so ridiculous. I mean we all understand that sometimes we have to wait but the way they did it today to us ,it wasn't right because I had an emergency after that,tried to explain it nicely at first. They said they had to go by oder then 💥, they called the guy came after to come in..

Symetria has been an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff, doctors, and counselors are all top-tier. I especially want to recognize Charla Zendejas — she’s one of the most compassionate and effective… counselors I’ve ever worked with. She truly cares about your recovery and partners with you every step of the way to set you up for long-term success. The environment is collaborative, supportive, and focused on real progress. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could. Huge thanks also to Dr. A — absolutely top-notch care!

I’ve been going here for serval months now and absolutely love it! The staff truly cares and listens I love hearing good morning Collin and have a great day Collin! When I come in and out from the wonderful person… working behind the front desk. I’ve been to three clinics in this one. These nurses have absolutely your full attention, They listen to you they communicate with you, They truly care and I love that. Both of the nurses are just amazing so sweet and caring and very well trained in the field of work! The doctor is The Coolest guy I’ve ever met lol. Very laid-back but listens to you is and your needs and is very open not all crazy strict. Great guy and a great doctor! And of course, the counselors I love them. My counselor is amazing. She’s a veteran just like me and we get along just great. She’s perfect. And there’s always this other counselor always tells me to have a great day with a wonderful smile. And I don’t know Just makes me feel really good. I would give this place 10 stars If I could!! If your looking for Suboxone or Methadone maintenance treatment look no further this is your place to go to trust me. I have been in Methadone maintenance clinics since 2018 and this is the best one I’ve ever experienced. I’m sober and never felt better in my life! 😇😊

Only been 2 days since I came here. Everyone I’ve met on staff so far(in person & on the phone) has been kind, caring, non-judgmental, and genuinely want to listen & help. I’ve been dealing with over a decade of primary… doctors, ER staff, and general hospital staff being flat out dismissive of my pain & after my first phone call to Symetria made me tear up & cry feeling relieved & just being immediately validated & not dismissed/called a junkie. The counselor is amazing & a really great listener. Made me feel safe to talk about my traumas & life stories. They offer family sessions if your like me & have been through childhood trauma with siblings or other family members. Even the people working the front desk make you feel seen/heard & have been so empathetic & nonjudgmental. They keep coffee and snacks in the front too so bonus coffee 😁 I cannot recommend this place enough. You just have to take the first step to call & get things going ❤️ & I have to say the only negative thing for me personally is that the locations are so far from me, & I don’t mean that in a “it’s their fault” way at all! Just sucks for me that the closest one is 30 miles away but I’ll happily keep making the trip & not complain just because of how absolutely awesome everyone is here, staff & other patients included. I love being able to talk with the other people in the waiting area knowing we’re all in this together & all have a common goal together.

I have never been to a place that cared so much. I consider these Angles a God sent in in my life. They are like family to me. I have been to many trying to get help not one place cares as much as they do except… Brightside sober living in Austin. Change came through help of their hearts and extended hands of help. Seriously....love you Ladies!

Charla is the best counselor I've ever had. She keeps me calm with all that's going on. She has kept me calm. Basically kept me out of jail a few times from getting mad at people that I wanted to beat up they deserved.… It, but charla has got me under control. She has taken very good care of me. She's very nice. She's professional and I want to keep her in my couselor
