Hotel California by the Sea – Bothell

Hotel was the best recovery experience I’ve had in my life. Out of ten I’d say 9/10. Can’t recommend the PHP residential housing enough.

This place changed my life. I was stuck and knew I needed help and I couldn’t have been happier with the help they gave me. The staff were so personable and kind and they always made me feel good about my progress. I… would recommend this place to my own family! I definitely hope anyone reading this gives this place a shot. YOU WILL BE AMAZED!!!!

The program at HTCBS is excellent. This was my first time going to treatment and I had no idea what to expect. They run their program with dignity. You’re not made to feel more shame or guilt than you may have come in… with, and I came in with a lot. They genuinely care about your well being and your recovery. It’s not just a paycheck to them, it’s a passion. You get to meet one on one with different counselors and therapists 5 times a week which is just unheard of for treatment centers. If you want to feel seen, be heard, and have your own recovery cheerleading squad, Hotel California is the place you should go. I would not be the version of myself today without them.

I was really hesitant about leaving the comfort of my own home to go to rehab and get threw being 🤢 Being around people I don't know, but this place is a safe haven I have never felt so comfortable and able to talk… around strangers and be my true self. I have made life long friends here also the staff is amazing and helpful in every way. I'm going to miss and cherish this home forever. It the best place to heal and grow in for my better life. My experience at hotel was amazing to say the least. It is a space that provides comfort, safety, and compassion while you work on yourself and your recovery. The tools and connection I gained while here was invaluable.… The staff is amazing, they genuinely care and understand what individuals are going through as most of them have walked this road ahead of us. I am optimistic about my recovery moving forward and I believe they've given me hope for a better and brighter future moving forward. If you or anyone you know is in need of help from the disease of addiction, call them you won't be disappointed! Recovery is possible: we do recover!❤️

Hotel California by the sea Bothell is amazing. I came in not knowing what to expect, nervous, scared, all the above! But they came with open arms and they’re here to help you. They’re here for you and will always… listen to what your needs are! The STAFF, the NIGHT TECHS, ADAM, my stay here at ROSE HILL, everything is worth the time for your recovery! I recommend it to all who have an addiction! I know where to go if I have any problems! I really do recommend giving them a call.

HCBTS was an amazing program. I came in sad, scared and with little hope about my future. After inpatient, I was in a much better place mentally, emotionally and physically. I then participated in the PHP program with… the same amount of programming as inpatient but with more freedom. I was so impressed with the amount of emotional sobriety work we did in group interspersed with real life freedom and a gentle step down towards regular daily life. I am going to be going to sober housing because I think it’s a great next step to solidify my recovery and have a shot at an amazing life. Thank you so much Hotel California!

Hotel California by the sea is a great place highly recommended

I reached out to Hotel California by the Sea specifically because I was struggling with alcohol and actively seeking help. During my initial phone interview, I was upfront that I’m a mother of 2-year-old twins with no… childcare support and a work schedule that leaves little flexibility. I was told this wouldn’t be a problem — that I could do virtual evening sessions through their IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program). Based on that assurance, I went through the full intake: urine test, breathalyzer, and an in-depth session with a therapist where I shared my full history. I was engaged and committed to the process. At the end of it, my case manager told me I actually needed a higher level of care — inpatient treatment requiring 30+ days away from home. When I explained that wasn’t feasible given my children, I wasn’t offered any alternative within their program. I was simply told to look elsewhere. I had insurance coverage ready to go and was ready to commit to the IOP I was originally promised, but instead I was dismissed. If you’re a parent, especially of young children, who can’t disappear for a month to get help, know that this facility may promise flexibility upfront and then withdraw it once you’ve already shared your story and made yourself vulnerable. Seeking treatment while trying to hold a family together is hard enough without being turned away by the people who are supposed to help.
