I honestly really enjoyed this place at first. It's unfortunate that my privacy was violated and my private information was shared without my consent by staff on several occasions. I continued there for a couple months… but as someone who values my privacy, I expect the laws in place to protect it be respected. I never could feel comfortable there again but happily continued services elsewhere.
I like that this place is a 1 stop shop however I will say the cleanliness of the bathrooms and lack of soap is problematic. They also have a new way of signing up for classes that creates a barrier for many. They say… they have their reasons because ppl sign up for classes and dont show. It makes more sense to put the sign up sheets out like they used to and if the ppl dont show then offer their spot to someone in the lobby. There are always ppl who need in. Right now they put the sign up sheets out 5 min before class begins. I literally had to wait to use the restroom so I didnt miss out on getting a place in class. I signed up and ran for the restroom and didnt get to go into the class because there wasnt sufficient time for me to use to restroom. Super frustrating. Now I have to wait to hopefully fit into the next class. I have other appointments I must attend and now I will be short on classes due to this new procedure. This is the 3rd time this has happened this week.
"I'm writing to express my concern about my experience during my first visit to the Quinault Wellness Center in Aberdeen. Upon arriving, I was approached by a security guard who immediately instructed me to move my… bicycle despite it being against the curb and not blocking traffic or pedestrians. I complied and moved the bike further away, but he continued to question me, repeatedly asking if I was a client and criticizing where my bicycle was locked up. After signing up for classes, I had about20 minutes before class, so I stood on what I believed to be a public sidewalk to use my nicotine vape and have some privacy. The security guard again confronted me and told me that I was not allowed to stand there. I disagreed, believing I was on public property and that he did not have the authority to order me to leave that area. The interaction became a verbal disagreement. Throughout the encounter, I felt spoken to in a disrespectful and demeaning manner. Rather than feeling welcomed as a new client, I felt harassed and followed. The situation became so frustrating that I canceled my classes for the day and left. I came to the facility voluntarily to begin treatment and improve my life. I hope this complaint will be taken seriously so that future clients are treated with respect and professionalism from the start.
Doesn’t know how to make and keep appointments apparently. Sucks because that’s what they’re their for and people rely on them.
This place is absolutely amazing. I’ve only been here a week and I feel like I’m home. 💜
I have just recently graduated from the services at quinault wellness and after failing other programs quinault wellness is hands down the best out patient facility ive been to and the only one that actually helped me… with amazing staff that actually care the medical department and dental is the best around and im glad to say im almost 2 years completely clean and free of everything..and along with access to destination hope and recovery they help you find housing and with just about anything to get you on your feet to help you with long term recovery..I recommend them to anybody looking for recovery..and can't forget everything they also do to help with mental health as well..I left there with the tools and knowledge to stay clean and sober the rest of my life!!!!! Thank you guys for all that you do!!
Since the day I walked in, and every day since, every person on staff has gone above and beyond. I couldn’t feel more welcomed more received more help anywhere else. I am very grateful!
This place has totally changed my life in so many ways, I thought that I would never get clean or have a clean and sober social life but this place proved me wrong, I am at the best level in life that I have ever benn… and I owe it all to the quinault wellness center. The staff there is amazing, the counselors really care and help, and the dental there is also very thorough. Thank you quinault wellness center for changing me into someone I never thought I would be..
I think this place is a amazing life changer I'm grateful to be apart of this new family
This place has saved my life.... Everyone is full of compassion 🙏
I give quinualt wellness center five stars and that is because they have always helped and been there when I really needed help I have nothing but great experience with these guys and there services
Tina and Lori are two of the best people I've met. Thank you for everything.
Its a great program, no set amount of time for the program it's all depending on how you do, counselors are great, have a full one stop shop here with SUD, mental health, doctor's office, dental office, psych doctor for… meds, free transportation, free child care, everybody that works here is willing to go the extra mile to help out everybody
This place is one of a kind.. I've been in and out of the recovery life for over 15 years and this place knows what they're doing.. they have the best medical doctors, The dentist is amazing, and every counselor seems… to really care and help you on your journey. Even the people at the front desk are awesome and very helpful.. this place helped me change my life!
I’ve never been somewhere where some of the staff not only don’t try to help but try to hinder the clients there. There are some employees there that are amazing, but some of them need to reevaluate their reason for… working at a place like this. I hear about the same people over and over again along with my own personal interactions. It’s unfortunate because this place has a lot of potential
An employee told me that they got rid of the problem employees after I had enough. I lost trust. Not sure I would go back very disorganized.
An excellent facility staffed with kind, generous, and thoughtful people who are clearly dedicated to helping improve both the lives of individual patrons, and the health of the community as a whole.
Quinault Wellness Center is an amazing place. I am so thankful to my tribe the Quinault Indian Nation for opening this treatment center up to help people that are fighting addiction.
Well trained staff.
I have been attending Quinault Wellness Center since May 2023 a little after they first opened when there were only a few people in each group and I knew this place was special right then! I have been doing the recovery… thing for a long time and this place is the first of its kind and light years ahead of any competition out there and definitely in Gray’s Harbor! These guys spent tens of millions of dollars on this place setting up the perfect setup for wrap around services where you can get all the help you need in one place instead of going to ten different places. These guys have Intensive Outpatient Treatment Services, Outpatient Treatment Services, one-on-one meetings with your counselor, and at least 8 different counselors to choose from. There are six-one hour classes each day Monday through Friday from 6am to 12pm and they all have different topics that you can choose from. The awesome thing about Quinault Wellness is that they have MAT or Medicated Assisted Treatment consisting of Methadone, Suboxone, and Vivitral. They have a Psychiatrist that prescribes mental health medication and gives counseling as well as a mental health counselor that you can work with. They have a state of the art dentistry setup with the dentist having over 50 years experience and the dental assistant having over 30 years experience and over 80 years experience between them! I have never felt the needle with this dentist not even once and not even the first shot he is so good! The only place to get dental around here is Sea Mar until Quinault Wellness was built and everything you get done there takes 6 months and about a total of ten years if you need work done. I had 11 issues with my teeth fixed in 9 days and they can get you in the next day if needed! They take state insurance and I’ve heard are doing screw on implants now. They have a medical doctor for all your medical needs and special counselors just for housing and other issues that you may need help with while getting sober in order to succeed! There is nothing that these guys don’t provide that you may need to succeed in sobriety! I have never seen anything like it before! It has been on the news and in the papers! Every treatment place is taking notes and trying to catch up! I have been doing this a long time and I also went to college for my degree in Substance Use Disorder and usually you get one counselor and you must come to class with the same counselor for 3-hour blocks 2-3 days a week and it’s a drag. This place is awesome! The counselors are awesome and they genuinely love their job and love saving lives and seeing us succeed! They have taken the best counselors and best employees from Gray’s Harbor and cherry picked them to work at Quinault Wellness the best treatment center out there today! They give out snacks, cookies, granola bars, etc… Really good snacks, fresh bananas, oranges, pears, and apples every single morning. They also have a hot chocolate machine and a huge heavy duty coffee machine with quality creamers, hazelnut and French vanilla. The place is very nice, very clean, and just amazing! The best part of my day is getting there at 6am and going to groups. They teach us a ton and genuinely care. I have never seen a group of ex addicts so educated and happy. Their success rate is very very high! I have told over a hundred people about this place and within a year they have grown so much so fast they can’t hire quick enough. They built this huge place and they are running out of room already and expanding. Pretty soon everyone from every treatment center around the Harbor will catch on and this will be the only place left if others don’t hurry to catch on! They pay so good and have such good benefits that the best of the best around Gray’s Harbor have made the switch to be employed at Quinault Wellness. They have taken employees with over 20 years at other places and made a new home for them here that they love! There is too much to mention! All I can say is if you read this and go anywhere else you are a fool!
An amazing place full of amazing people!
In my opinion, Quinault Wellness Center has the best overall SUD/CD/BHO services and MAT clinic services in the harbor. The counselors tailor to the clients individual needs and is very thorough with the… intake/assessment process. You literally get what you put into it. For instance, if you want to get help with Impatient Treatment they're willing to work with you and get everything from a bed date to transportation to the facility. If your needs are not as extreme as Impatient Treatment, they have counselors on site to help navigate what type of services you do need ie: Outpatient Treatment(OP), Intensive Outpatient Treatment(IOP), MAT Services (Medicated Assisted Treatment; Suboxone/Methadone/Vivatrol) and Behavioral Health services that partner with an off-site psychiatrist if needed. Honestly, my fiance and I have been to a few different places over the past 3 years. I'd have to say that hands down QWC is the best place to start if you're trying to get your life back together. We (Nevada L. & Todd C.) Wanted to say "Thank you to everyone who works at QWC. And thank you for everything you all have done for not just us but the community in general!" We are looking forward to completing our individual programs and seeing the clinic continue to grow!!
My kids are attending this facility, it's great for treatment of drugs.
