Haven Treatment Center – Vancouver Detox and Rehab Services
Recorded services at Haven Treatment Center – Vancouver are residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and sober living. The structured element runs during the day and people go home afterwards. Which of these is appropriate depends on an assessment, not on what sounds manageable at the time.
Co-occurring mental health conditions are addressed alongside substance use, which is the approach the evidence supports. Transitional accommodation appears on the record for the period after intensive treatment. I am so grateful I found Haven Health Autism Assessments. Dr. Lana Ferris is absolutely amazing. Getting a late dual diagnosis has been life changing for me. I struggled my whole life not knowing why I experienced… things/ reacted so differently, and I was dismissed, overlooked or told I was something I was not when I tried to get answers. I walked in nervous that it would happen again, but Dr. Ferris made me feel truly seen and heard from the very first moment. If you’re an adult wondering if this might be your story too, don’t wait. This experience gave me the clarity and support moving forward that I so desperately needed. 100 ⭐️
Highly recommend for so many reasons that it’s hard to know where to start! The consultation phone call gave me a fantastic impression of Dr. Lana, her philosophy and the whole process. It was the perfect combination of… personal & professional. I never felt rushed and she answered all of my questions. She offers flexible payment options and her office staff are great too!
I had such a great experience with Dr. Ferris. Everything was communicated well and coordinated with excellent communication and care. Highly recommend working with her.
I am absolutely honored to write this review about my family’s experience with Dr. Lana Ferris. As a parent, navigating the autism assessment process can feel overwhelming at times. From the moment we met her, we knew… we were in good hands. She approached the process with compassion, patience, and exceptional professionalism. The environment was also calm and nurturing. Once the process was complete and we had the answers that we had long awaited, there was a tremendous amount of relief. After years of uncertainty, we now had a diagnosis, an actual starting point for additional care and resources. I have so much respect for Dr. Ferris. I feel truly blessed to have met her. She is kind, caring, and exceptionally knowledgeable. During our experience, we felt fully supported, but most importantly, we felt empowered to continue on the path ahead. I highly recommend her to any family on this journey who is seeking answers. She’s the best!
I searched widely to find an expert in adult autism assessment, autism diagnosis, autism testing, ADHD testing and neuropsych evaluation and someone who understands the impact of late diagnoses misdiagnoses–I discovered… Haven Health & Wellness. Dr. Ferris's expertise and focus is rare, narrow, and much needed in this field. She didn't only meet my desires for a comprehensive assessment—she exceeded them. When I initially called with a LONG LIST of questions, I was met with genuine warmth and full transparency. The online systems for scheduling, reminders, and intake forms are easy to use and worked well for me: someone who loves detailed organization but struggles with time management. Respectful, informed accommodation and ethical practice are built into the foundation of Haven Health & Wellness. The assessment was thorough, and the holistic approach gives me additional confidence in the accuracy of the evaluation. The process was flexible, adapting to my needs and particularities. I've never experienced the attention to detail and specialized care that Dr. Ferris and her staff have. Beyond the comprehensive assessment itself, I'm taking away something unexpected: a therapeutic experience and the profound awareness that I'm not alone—that there are people who genuinely want to help and have the expertise to do so. I would recommend Haven Health & Wellness to anyone—especially those who've felt reduced to a diagnosis or haven't found answers in conventional assessments or former treatment plans. Dr. Ferris's approach is integrative and considers context, identity, and lived experience in ways that standard evaluations often miss. I am and will continue to speak of my positive experiences with her.
My assessment with Dr. Lana was an extremely positive experience. Her approach is very neuro-affirming, the logistics around setting up the assessment were easy and seamless, her team communicated professionally and in… a timely manner, and the resources I've received from her have already been helpful and changed my life for the better. High recommend working with her. Thank you Dr. Lana!
Dr. Lana Ferris is awesome!! I felt so comfortable talking to her the whole time! I felt seen! I felt heard! I felt accepted! After 20+ years of searching for answers, she has truly changed my life for the better! I’m… so looking forward to what life has to offer! Thank you so much for your help! You did an amazing job!! Thanks for making everything easy!
I was not only listened to I was understood, things I struggled with for 20+ years I now have resources for. Dr. Lana Ferris was absolutely amazing. THANK YOU
We did both an assessment and ongoing med management for my teen here and they have been great. The staff is amazing, very knowledgeable, professional and kind. The assessment was out of network with my insurance but… they filled the paperwork needed to get the amount covered I was eligible for. I absolutely 100% recommend Haven Health and Wellness and feel lucky to have found them.
After almost 20 years of being medically gaslit, I finally feel seen. It’s amazing to have someone both validate and help me. I got more help from her in the the first visit than I did in 3 years with other providers.
Dr. Ferris is detail oriented and addressed all of my questions. Highly recommended!
I highly recommend Dr. Lana Ferris for anyone seeking neurodivergence-affirming care. Her deep understanding of ADHD and autism creates a truly supportive and validating space for clients. She provides thorough and… thoughtful autism and ADHD assessments, helping clients gain clarity and access the support they need. As a mental health clinician in the Vancouver area, I’m grateful to have such an affirming and knowledgeable specialist in our community!
Genuinely kind, patient and professional support for getting answers and resources, highly reccomend to everyone!
We waited for our testing appointment for almost 3 months. As it got closer, I kept getting reminder texts. Great! Until I got one 2 days before the appointment saying we still had the appointment but the doctor was… SUPPOSED to call us 2 MONTHS AGO to tell us she no longer does that testing! They wondered if we still wanted the appointment. Excuse me? WHAT? How INFURIATING and totally unprofessional! Meanwhile, we are now without the testing AND we’re 3 months behind on getting on someone else’s wait list. I’m so mad!!! Don’t go here if you actually want them to follow through! RIDICULOUS!
I started with this clinic and Dr. Ferris a few months ago, and because of an insurance issue I had to swap to Dr. Morris. I want to say how much they care. This sounds cliche but I've never been listened to before.… I've never felt cared for before. I've had to fight tooth and nail for answers for years and finally found a group of doctors that actually listen and offer advice and medications beyond the normal 'lose weight and try yoga and meditation' line that women hear constantly. I haven't been gaslit once. I cannot sing their praises loudly enough. If you're tired of being treated like an annoyance come here. Here you are a person.
Dr. Ferris did a comprehensive intake with labwork for my chronic pain and fatigue, identifying underlying causes and treating my symptoms efficiently and effectively. My symptoms are significantly improved and I've… been able to resume exercising and living my life in ways I wasn't able to do for years. She is knowledgeable and clear about health and healthcare in a way that is rare among providers. She also spends the time listening and giving practical recommendations. Visiting Dr. Ferris at Haven Health has literally changed my life.
UPDATE: In the weeks following the review I posted, Dr. Ferris has been proactively responsive in following up with my care and with ensuring that my healthcare is managed appropriately, both of which I am appreciative… of. A lot of people, regardless of profession, might not have taken the feedback and made the effort to make things right. To her credit, Dr. Ferris heard the concerns and feedback and took the time to repair any harm caused to the doctor-patient relationship. Thank you. Despite not making a great first impression, I decided to give her a chance, as my primary provider was unavailable due to illness. Over the last several months, consistent with other reviews, I have found Dr. Ferris to be inconsistent with her communication and follow up with regard to calling in prescriptions and in her response to messages received via email/text/voicemail- on the days she indicates she checks and responds to messages! Her literal practice is not aligned with her “core values.” A baseline expectation is a responsive approach to patient care, which would require returning calls, emails, etc… The level of “care” provided has been disappointing to say the least. She claimed to have called in a prescription for me- over two weeks ago, which has remained unfulfilled- with no word from her- only the pharmacy letting me know that they have not heard from her! Unfortunately, I am not alone in my experience based on the reviews, which should have prompted improvement in key areas specifically related to patient care. Do better. Your patients and their experiences matter.
Dr. Morris impressed me as thorough, kind, and on my side as she interviewed me for the initial intake for her care. I'm so glad I choose Haven Health & Wellness for my health care in Vancouver.
Great Transgender care but would like to see additional services offered such as Primary Care 🥰 Been with Haven Health for 1 1/2 yrs
Very caring and thorough doctors. Provide guidance on vitamins and diet
I've used this clinic for psych med management for a year now. They are kind, and I feel they really want to make sure I'm taken care of! Also appreciate that they are naturopaths, as that's my preference. Esp as… someone with multiple chronic illnesses, it's nice to not have to explain everything. They are already familiar with my illnesses! Oh and I don't even live near Vancouver, I do everything entirely via virtual appts! So that's nice too :)
Dr. Ferris is an excellent physician. She provides a warm and welcoming environment with both her office and personality. She is well versed in a variety of topics and always makes sure that she has answered all… questions. I've seen her for both medical monitoring and medication management. She is thorough in explaining all options and explaining test results. I love seeing Dr. Ferris for my care.
I have had many other doctors but Dr. Lana Ferris is the best I have ever had. Unlike so many other doctors she actually listens. She is up to date on the latest information and has intelligent conversations. She is… kind! She understands medicine while also understanding nutrition. Even if I didn't have insurance I would pay her in cash, she is that good.
I am sure the doctors are lovely but the receptionist/scheduler presented too much of a barrier to schedule an appointment. No one answers the phone and in my experience leaving a voicemail got me a text message several… days later. That would be fine except for the unresponsiveness to texts at that point so I am giving up. Incredibly frustrating and unprofessional, in my opinion.
